The big question is, How much will this board give to Glenn if he gets us promoted in order to keep us there,? Or do we come straight back down again, they were not in to much of a hurry to show ambition last time
On the champoinship review program on sky it said we had spent 1.5 millon. A bit OT but an interesting comment perhaps........

For all the good its done, we might be just better off without it Roeder hasn''t much faith in what we produce there it work out cheaper to hire from other clubs
ob1, yep we do have a massive catchment for support but it`s not the same for accademy boys. When they are young they have to be within 1hr travel distance of Colney, thats a pretty small population in a rural area, where as big city clubs have a much bigger poulation within the travel time catchment. Have you thought about asking the club to put you intouch with out Kit makers, sure they must have some knocking about

pete_norw replied to colneycanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
thats assuming he goes anywhere as I do believe he has just signed a contract extension at West ham, Oh hang on, he did the same with us
Anyone aware of any sell on clause we have with Ashton? Im guessing we dont have one.
Its 15% of any profit they make on him, which is nice
-

There is a big industrial estate about ten minute walk just as you come off motorway j2 but I have not been there for over 6 years now so you might not be able to park now but they do have a large car park by the ground where the busses park

I wrote a book all about my early life living on a Stud farm in the Midlands and going in to the army travelling where the army took me but have problems remembering a footballer''s name, Taking my 5 yr old to his first Norwich game on saturday a strange yet exciting moment for me as i can remember my dad taking me to my first game at the same age!!!!!, How i can remember that but not remember what i have done yesterday i just don''t know!!!. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experince????
-
Whos going to be relegated this season?
pete_norw replied to Have Heart's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
When will all these pointless threads stop clogging up the boards -
Bit of a pointless thread, all this where will we finish, when does school start up again It’s approaching that time of the year when predictions for the new Championship season are required. What effect do you think Roeder’s new signings will have? All we need from you is the three teams you believe will be promoted and, if it differs, where you think Norwich will finish. Many thanks. Jhon Paul George Ringo. Gill Merrick, Yhashin, Martin Peters, I used to have Loads more but due to Divorce it cost me loads -
And the season will open with a flight pass by the Red Arrows, or was it Barrows
Les didn''t know about it - he was being enlightened by the bloke I didn''t recognise. Don''t shoot the messenger, little fella! (well, so the rumours go!) As I said, in my defence, I had been on the sauce but was definitely compus mentis. Incidentally, I may also have wee''d on Gerry Harrison''s shoes at half time. Sorry Gerry - at least they weren''t suede. Wurzel
What did you think of Martin and Cureton?
pete_norw replied to CiderkiddCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
my thoughts too, Martin just stop dead without any idea what to do so he passed the ball back end of attack gave ball away, let him play for Beccles town with his brother I think it went from bad to worse and I''m not fan of Cureton. Martin was summed up when Hoolahan fed him that ball and he was faced up 1 on 1 with Zokora and he failed to commit Zokora or play someone else in. He didn''t have a clue what to do.
-

I think he only managed to make 1 pass all game he even gave the ball away from a corner. (A SLIMMER version of PIEMAN)
Don''t normally like to knock a player if it can be helped...BUT...he was terrible tonight, ok the opposition is better than he''ll face all season but still to poor for the first team.
I just hope the mindless thugs who call themselfs fans don''t start to taunt him in the same way they did G. R
Sympathy to the guy & his fam.

what ever the score it is of no importance, all we want is no injuries on either side after all it''s bill''d as a friendly and a sell out at that, We can say that we were the only pre season sell out and ask the Binners whats it like to see a crowed, also not forgetting Setanta will also be showing it live, Score is completely irrelevant - all that matters is formd and avoiding any costly, long term injuries. I very rarely go to friendlies because of the irrelevance but this time it has caught my eye due to the number of our new signings and the fact that it''s Spurs (one of my very best friends ia a lifelong Yids fan and I said I''d go along and report back with an update!) Mifsud is expected to sign for Bristol tomorrow
I would like to see Rasiak and Mifsud here. Both very skillful and both proven goal scorers.
-
Tell you what next time I see him I''ll point him in your direction, I''m sure he would like to hear your thoughts

Some bloke who sits near me has: NCFC IS MY RELIGION CARROW ROAD IS MY CHURCH Bit retarded if you ask me.. Geordies respond to Ameobi query
pete_norw replied to SAFU2007's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Admittedly, a lot of those goals did appear to be quite ''fortunate'' so to speak. But I think that could be exactly what we''re looking for. The sort of player who will pick up on penalty area ''scraps'', which I think we''ve been lacking for a while. With the way the midfield is shaping up, we should be providing the goods into the box, and just need someone to finish them off. I really think he could do a good job for us at this level. If Curo had that sort of luck last season, he''d have got 30 goals! Probably..............[:D]
totally agree. you could also say the same about most strikers, including Sheerer, I would like to see him here and think with GR''s influance on him he could bag at least 20 goals next season -
Own up, who is responsible for this?..........
