I must say out of all the AGMs I have attended, only Steve Stone struck me as a most credible club employee/officer holder.

Why is your default position that everything at the club is above board and proper and done with utmost formality? You rule out the human nature aspect. Delia is a simple and sentimental person who likes people who will go along with what she thinks. Knapper was recruited to serve that end. The interview process was set up to serve that end. You seem to think that NCFC is run like a FTSE 100 company. It is not. Delia has all the senior management round her place and decisions are made around the kitchen table over coffee.

Some posters on here have fallen right into the trap that Delia has set. She wants people to think she is an old person being victimised. That is the perfect narrative. It then deflects away all the atrocious things she has been involved in such as backing Webber to the hilt, refusing to acknowledge that there are legitimate governance issues at the club, having a go at the fans, racking up extraordinary levels of debt, selling every player possible, not investing in the squad, 6 relegations, c.56 cup exits......the list goes on and on.... Bob the Grocer, Doomcaster, Moxey, Raymond de Waard, Zema Abbey, Jason Jarrett, etc.

As Jim said, even with video footage, this was a nothing incident. Compared to the rampant hooliganism of the 70s and 80s there was nothing of concern there. If Delia was shaken by a beer can and then wants to go and blow it out of all proportion by demanding a public apology then she's led a very sheltered life. Before opening her mouth, she would have done better by reflecting on Ibrox, Heysel and Hillsborough.

Agreed. Going in deep behind enemy lines, I mean what the hell did she expect as a double agent? Bouquets of flowers? This whole thing was pre-planned in Stowmarket to elicit fan sympathy in the wake of the own goals she scored during that AGM interview. Devious, deceitful and wicked woman.

Delia should get no apology whatsoever. In fact, she should apologise for stalking the Ipswich team bus, which was a highly provocative act given that she is a football double agent who lives near Ipswich and supported them in 78 yet turns up at Portman Road wearing yellow and green. She got off lightly. I'm surprised she didn't have barrels of beer thrown on the roof of the car. Delia now trying to portray herself as the victim after the poisonous atmosphere she and Webber have created around the club is extremely far-fetched, to say the least.

I like the idea of parking the bus then developing a sharp, counter attacking style of play, as this is what would be required in the EPL if you want to stay there longer term. Best to start perfecting it in this league first.

Agreed. Russell Martin was a lousy centre back and as captain pointy finger he was a huge hypocrite. Should have taken a look at his own performances before pointing fingers. Glad we got rid. The fact he was mates with Delia just showed what he and the club were and are all about.

It always sticks in my mind that when we lost 0-5 at Brighton, Russell Martin stopped running and just let them score at will.

These are precisely the tactics that would be required in the EPL if ever the day arrived where Norwich were able to compete at that level. If you want EPL beyond just the one season, this is the route down which the club will have to go because Farkeball and all variations of it will lead to instant relegation. Fans need to get tuned into reality. Playing good football is not what it's all about.

Women should stay out of men's football. They have their own football so should stick to that.

The acceptance of the inability to compete at the highest level of English football is the spectre that hangs over the club. Everyone now knows that Championship and no further is as good as it gets for the club. The gulf between Norwich City and 17th in the EPL is now so enormous as to be unbridgeable. This is now an accepted fact. Yet only 4 years ago Norwich won this league with Villa in the play-offs. Since then, their fortunes have gone in opposite directions with Villa now potentially even winning the EPL. Despite this compelling evidence to the contrary, Delia still maintains that money coming into a club is a bad thing, as per her recent comments in that interview. The woman is a fool and the club and fans have to suffer because of it.
