1. According to the team news tomorrow... Doherty out Safri out Lappin out Fotheringham out Brown out Shackell doubtful Drury doubtful Jurgen Colin out "for family reasons", totally 8 players out! So Andy Hughes would be left-back? No because if Shackell not playing, who play center-half and right-back? Hughes can play 2 positions together? Or Peter Grant re-register as a player again? -- team tomorrow: Warner Cave-Brown  Dublin  Hughes ?? Croft  Spillane  Etuhu  Eagle Martin  Huckerby sub: Renton, Earnshaw, Gallacher, ?? I cannot make up the number be honest!!!
 2.
Smart is a striker, very fast, kind of the opposite of Martin - they will probably work well together imo. and Bexfield is a midfielder i think?
So We will have Martin, Renton and Smart play strikers? :-O
 3.
blood em and see who''s cutting it - but loan the ones out next season who need to improve.  having some hungry youngun''s on the edge of the first team gives the older pro''s a gee-up, but balance is everything - granty should mix and match for next season - however, we still need to get some experienced bodies in for next season imo, and let go of the ones who are not performing.
Surely he will mix the youngsters and pro together, I would like to see our midfield three line-up at Safri-Spillane-Lappin
 4.
bally smart - awesome
I heard he had lots of pace to offer, was it correct?
 5.
Probably been asked a 1000 times, but does anyone know?  I haven''t seen any press so I''m presuming not.
Not really sure in England but it will be LIVE in HK I think. 7pm.
 6.

To be fair I think Chris Martin barely played a reserve gaem before stepping up and none of us regret that. Given the atrocious quality of our reserve "league" its arguable that scoring for the academy team is a bigger achievement and I suspect Grant feels the same.
Martin did not play many reserve games indeed, it is split almost evenly between the under 18s or whatever it is, and the reserve team but the most astonishing figure he has maintained is his goal ratio of about one goal to every two teams      - then he came into the first team and maintained that level of performance! So glad we have kept hold of this lad.
Martin did not score many for reserves but if you look at the FONCY website, he scored regularly for the youth team in last 2 seasons. He had potential
 7.
Well if that''s Dopey Donkey''s attitude, then we will be well shot of him during the summer [:@] I hope it''s not an opinion of most of our players - I don''t think I could stand a repeat of the Portaloo Road ''performance'' [:(]
I still wondering after PG said after the Cardiff game, "there will be some surprise exit in the summer", is he one of the players?
 8. Just a reminder if you want to know more about the youngest player to pull on a Norwich shirt, you can take a look at the programme on this weekend against Ipswich Town, I am sure Kris Renton will have a longer blog about his debut.
 9.
1. new player 2 new player 3 " " 4 "" 5 "" 6  Huckerby 7 New player 8 "" 9 "" 10 Earnshaw 11 New payer
Be realistic mate, it won''t be happen because we won''t have the money to do this! Also we have several goalkeeper, also Dion, Shacks and Drury have a big part to play in next season.
 10.
Rick Waghorn mentions that Smart and Bexfield are in the Squad at the moment, seems a good time to blood them to.
Smart and Bexfield? Which position they play? I don''t know about that, any link of that article?
 11.
Freddy Eastwood?
If Southend United go down, but also if we had enough money to pay the Shrimpers...
 12. Earnie, Brown, Safri, Lappin and Fotheringham, striker and midfielder, all out injured and certainly hurt our chance to get more victories of the remaining season; but on the other way, if those first team players did not miss out, I quite believe Chris Martin, Kris Renton or Micky Spillane will never a chance to get some first team game. Millions and millions times I had mentioned, if the young players never given a chance to play, he will never prove himself is deserving a place or not. Okay the manager saw the players day in day out, but certainly if you play footy and you will know, training and playing a game are totally different things. I still hope Andrew Cave-Brown will get his chance ahead of Andy Hughes very soon, as Grant said he won''t like to play a player out of position.
 13.
Canaries start hunt for new players    Tue, Apr 10 2007 14:30 Norwich boss Peter Grant has revealed he is looking for a player to transform his side into winners next season. Any nominations? OTBC
I don''t know, perhaps somebody from the Premiership because you know when there are more overseas come in for the EPL, there are more surplus which will consider to play in the lower level; but you know, they want more money which I really do not think we had the power to supply them
 14.
The familiar summersault, followed by, er...  What was that!? Looked like he was pretending to step over something! Seems to have abandonded the matador-esque bow at least!
Amm, don''t know about , but sounds liked a Spanish dancing!!!!
 15. I won''t doubt AH versatility but for yesterday, if we had a left-back who was injured very early in the game, I am worrying why Colin not played at left-back and get Cave-Brown, a natural right-back on the bench into the game? PG always said he did not want to play players out of position, but did he really know we sign Andy Hughes as a midfielder to replace Gary Holt? AH is not a right-back or left-back and of course I did not see him play many games, but liked the Colchester game or his crosses will directly affect our chance to win the game. It is not AH fault because he just follow what''s his manager asked him to do, it was the manager''s problem. Earnshaw for Spillane, a striker for a midfielder who played quite well yesterday, question mark again! I know PG did not rely (did not rely =/= did not play them) young players but the 4 games left now was the best chance for him to try the young players, test their nerves.
 16. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Cave-Brown Andrew Cave-Brown (born 5 August 1988) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Norwich City. Cave-Brown is a full-Back. He was capped for Scotland at under-16 Level, for whom he played in the 2002-03 Victory Shield. Andrew attended Gravesend Grammar School in Kent. Cave-Brown had been on the books of Charlton Athletic but joined on a scholarship at Norwich City for the 2004-05 season. He made his full Norwich debut in the dying moments of the FA Cup third round defeat against West Ham United in January 2006, and made his first start in the League Cup victory over Torquay United in August 2006, although he was stretchered off after half an hour with a leg injury. He signed a professional contract in April 2006. Andrew is in a long term relationship with Christine Anstey, who he met at school in Gravesend. Cave-Brown was called up to the Scotland Under-19 squad in August 2005 and he played all qualifying games for the Scottish Under-19 side that reached the final of the 2006 European Under-19 championship. Andrew signed for King''s Lynn on loan in December 2006, following the appointment of Keith Webb, the ex-Norwich City reserve team manager, as King''s Lynn''s new first team manager. He returned to Norwich in February 2007. --- Just interested about who is Christine Anstey? His girl friend or anyone? Famous lady? This website seems have quite detailed information...
 17.
IMO:   I would like to have:                                                               Marshall or Warren Hughes               (New Defender)               Shackell (captain)          (New Defender)   Hucks               (New Midfielder)             Etuhu                  Chadwick                           Martin             Brown Bench - Dublin, Lappin, Fothringham, Spillane. OUT: Safri (too injury prone and Grant doesn''t rate him.)  Earnie (don''t want him to go but we need the money to re-build)          The Doc, Dury, Mcviegh, Thorne, Jarvis Brothers, Eagle. IN: Two new midfielders, one spare and on to replace Safri, New full back/centre backs and New Left Back.   Time for a change. We look a shadow of 2003/4. Go, go, go the city. Cheeers All
Why midfielder Hughes ahead of right-back Colin or Caveb-Brown on the "right-back position"?
 18. Mine is that: Warner Cave-Brown  Dublin  Shackell  Drury Croft  Etuhu  Spillane  Huckerby Earnshaw  Martin
 19.
I read this on a Foxes forum. Re: Norwich Match Thread "why bring on a defender when we are 2-1 down and there is a striker on the bench?"   I can laugh now.[:D]
because he want to keep the 2-1 defeat scoreline :)
 20.
Spillane, Eagle, Martin, Renton.  Cave-Bown on the bench.  We win away.  PG backs youth, takes chances, and motivates. I''m backing Grant to be a City legend.
Absolutely, Eagle had a nearly full 90 minutes, Spillane impress in midfield, Martin get another run-out, Renton got his chance finally, only thing I criticised Grant was we have a natural right-back Cave-Brown and Colin can play left back, why Hughes for left back who was very poor. Grant cannot play Andy Hughes game in game out on full-back if we have 2 right-backs (Colin and Cave-Brown) in the first team
 21. Myself I would like to have: Lewis Cave-Brown  Spillane Shackell(captain) Drury Croft (New midfielder) Safri Huckerby  Martin Earnshaw    subs: Gallacher, Lappin, Chadwick, Etuhu, Renton We need a new attacking midfielder to pass the ball well, also used the young center half we have and made Shacks the captain!!!
 22.
If none of the injury doubts play he could do this. Warner Cave-Brown   Spillane   Dublin   Drury Croft   Etuhu   Hughes   Eagle Martin   Hucks That would be 4 academy lads playing! Subs: Gallagher, Colin and 3 Fans
Brilliant team! Love to see that on defence!!!!
 23. Honestly Linvoy Primus is a Premiership defender with lots of strength, can''t see us can get him when we are in the Championship
 24.
with docherty now injured aswell, wouldnt it be perfect to play some youngsters, to play exceptionally well, win the game, and say something about worthigntons refusation to use the youngsters!   Just a thought... hogesarr
Exactly what I think. I think Spillane, Cave-Brown, Martin, Eagle and even Kris Renton deserved a chance to play at the Walkers Stadium, with some many firs teamers were out injured. I would love to see Cave-Brown play on the right-back.
