What jobs do you all do?
SouthamptonCanary replied to SnakepitCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I work as a Web Applications Support Analyst for Norwich Union\Aviva based in Southampton. Its rubbish and I also have 2 binners in my department which is not good. Although I have had some pleasure recently in reminding them that Aviva now sponsor NCFC so effectivly all the work they do for the company is helping put money into NCFC...........Ha ha ha, they love it!!!!! -

Earnshaw coming back??
SouthamptonCanary replied to colneycanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If we can get Earnshaw at a decent price I would defo have him back at the club. Ok he jumped ship but who can blame given that the clueless Grant was in charge at the time. Also at the end of the day a footballer wants to play at the highest level and when an opportunity comes in to play in the Prem no player is going to turn that down.He will score goals in the championship which is something we didn''t do enough of last season so he would be a good signing if we can get him -
Gavin Hoyte on his way?
SouthamptonCanary replied to DOGGER's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I might be wrong but i think the players name is Justin Hoyte not Gavin, unless there are 2 Hoyte''s at Arsenal. If it is Justin Hoyte i think this would be a very good loan signing -
Now we're linked with Sibierski
SouthamptonCanary replied to TheCardinal's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We need a blend of youth and experience and in my opinion Sibierski would bring experience plus goals and versitility -
A Message For Roeder...
SouthamptonCanary replied to Matt Morriss's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Move on........ -
I hope we can keep him because although not the most graceful player on the pitch he is solid championship defender
-
Lets hope they have given the idea up, the badge is fine as it is
-
Not bothered that we didn''t sign him.He maybe young and have potenital but only scored 12 goals this season. We need players that can come in a do the job straight away. I''m sure with the likes of Ebanks Blake he will do well for Wolves so good luck to him but not the kind of player we need at the moment
I don''t mind Lappin, but flicking between the two Scottish games last night, you can clearly see the standard is very poor, worse than the Championship I''d say. Neat and tidy little player but probably not good enough, agreed that he was made a scapegoat after one or two poor performances.
Completely agree with you here Greenwich Canary, I was flicking between the Celtic and Rangers game last night and all I kept thinking was how slow the game was and the amount of time and space each player had on the ball. For me Lappin is an average player who I wouldn''t have as a starter but would be a good squad player to come on as Sub or to fill in for injuries

I find it hard to understand why we have only given him a 1 year deal but maybe that is all he wanted.I''m pleased we''ve got him for another year -

Rasiak on his way?
SouthamptonCanary replied to LORD FOXY LOWE's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

I would not be happy if Rasiak came to Norwich!!As my name suggests I live in Southampton and I''ve watched Rasiak play a lot. Now i would not argue that he knows where the back of the net is but trust me when I say that he is one of the most lazy players I ever watched. If you don''t put the ball straight to his head or feet, don''t expect him to run and try and get the ball. Its just not his game. If he scores goals we will all be happy but if he doesn''t everyone will be on his back straight away because of his poor attitude. He will cost inexcess of £1m and will be on over 10k a week which will not be good value for money
I doubt he will cost so much with Saints financial problems, they had to let him go on loan to sort out his wages.
A valid point but I wouldn''t be so sure that we will get him at a knock down price:1. Southampton have always been very good and getting the maximum price for a player eg Walcott, Bale, Jones2. Rupet Lowe is now back as Chairman with Micheal Wilde and I think they will bring some stability to the club finaically3. Even if we get him on the cheap wages will still be high, he will still be lazy and he will still have a bad attitude -

Man City put whole squad up for sale

I believe this is a refreshing approach to management at Norwich City FC. For to loung we have had the same old people in and around the club resulting in us getting knowhere. I think Glenn has identified the deadwood in his time at the club and decided that enough is enough and the only way to move forward is a complete restructure. Its a risk, but i think it is a risk which has to be taken

Man City put whole squad up for sale
SouthamptonCanary replied to LORD FOXY LOWE's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
This is unbelieve able news coming out of Man City!!Comon Glenn get in there and sign Ched up, also a bid for there other young striker Sturidge wouldn''t be a bad shout -
I think this is good news for our club, I am pleased to see that Glenn is looking at the whole setup and not just the first team.Glenn is giving the club a complete overhaul getting rid of all the deadwood who have failed to produce. This will freshen things up!!

is this a joke glen?
SouthamptonCanary replied to Duke of Muck's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Eagles is young with his whole career if front of him and he will be getting paid a fraction of the wages that Hucks would have been on. Can''t see the problem really
