1.   Just read through the interview on the front page.   How it''s written it seems as if he feels like he''s no longer wanted at Norwich. Might be reading too much into it, but the way he was talking he was almost as if he''s resigned to not playing for us again. When it was announced he was going out on loan, I assumed it was to give him some game time after last years injury. Hoping that he gets a good runout at Forest and comes back next year and challenges for a regular first team place. Is it just me, or does anyone else read it like that?    http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/daniel_ayala_disappointed_to_leave_norwich_city_1_1476794
 2. Excellent player, would love to have him back on a permanent basis.   Fingers crossed.
 3. Really good read Andy,   When you think on what the club has achieved over the last few years from the opening day of the L1 season.   Just wish I had a time machine so I could put a bet on us getting back to back promotions the day after the Colchester game!!   Would love to know what teh odds would have been on that one!
 4. Ken Nethercott (because he was a my great cousin once removed or something like that) Martin Peters Iwan Roberts Hucks All players who love the club as much as us.
 5.
"Wardy, Wardy...Wheres your man".........Wardy, Wardy Move........Wardy, Wardy Get Tight..... Wardy Wardy Line"
Sound like we''ve found a song for Wardy then.
 6.
Just seen this: Fourth Official ‏@FourthOfficial_ Celtic have signed Norwich''s James Vaughan on loan for the season Really? He''s been our best striker in pre-season so far. Fourth Official is usually quite reliable, but I hope this isn''t true.
Fourth Official ‏@FourthOfficial_ Seems one of the more accurate sources on twitter, but until it''s officially announced....   Be surprised if we get rid of one of the few strikers we have,.
 7. Got a few things tucked away,   Signed copy of the "Norwich City Our Way" book by Justin Fashanu, stood in line for ages at Anglia Sq as a kid     Signed football from the 99 season along with a signed shirt from the same yeat. Signed away shirt from the 04 season. Malky''s a mate(ish), and he gave me his training kit which he''d already recieved before being told by Worthy on the phone while on his first call up for the Scotland squad that he was being sold to Coventry! I wont repeat what Malkys reply was.......
 8. Good on yer Wiz, on the standing up and apologising and on the JD   Mind you a nice 12yr old single malt would hit the spot as well.
 9. I have a nose around their and TWTD both sites can have me in stitches   Funny how they both hark on at "Glory Days"   Those Were The Days We Are Champions, Champions Of Europe   Bless em.
 10.
Definitely Brucey in the semi final against Ipswich. Back in the days when people knew when and how to storm the pitch. Always remember Ken Brown in the after match interview ''He didn''t even leave the deck! He''s telling us back there how he leaped up!" (Watching the goal). Gonna see if i can find that interview on youtube - used to watch it over and over as a kid.
Remember that one well, takes me back that...sigh...   Ken Brown giving Bruce some stick as well ;) I''ve met Ken a lot over the years and he''s exactly the same now as he was then, alway smiling with a fantastic sense of humour. A true gent.

A few teams are interested in him though, i just hope we get in there first before a bidding war commences. Need Drury to put in a good word....
Made me smile when Alan Brazil said to Colin "It must be frustrating when a bigger club like Norwich Comes calling"   I be WACCOE went into meltdown when they heard that!
Now let''s break that down a bit further and transfer it across the Championship.  Alan Brazil basically admitted that Norwich were a bigger club than his beloved Ipswich too.  Good work Alan.
Life has sweet moments sometimes dont they?

 13.
I think certain posters to this message board need to chill the f out. QPR spent big last season and only just stayed up, chucking money at it doesn''t always work. Plus don''t forget we already have a settled premier league squad, those promoted teams need to build theirs, like we had to last year. Of course we need to progress and improve our squad however hughton has only had these lads for just over a week, it''s going to take time to assess his squad. Would you prefer him to make a rash signing or to take his time to research his squad and the players he brings into said squad...I know which option I prefer
Completly agree, CH needs time to evaluate where the squad needs improving,  and as they managed 12th in the league last time he may feel it dosen''t need massive changes.   As much as anything team spirit is worth its weight in gold and our lads have bucketloads of it.
 14. Would be a good addition to the squad, but if Leeds are still wanting 8mil for a player with one year left on his contract and no Prem experience?? That''s a hell of a lot of money, I''d think 4.5-5mil. And I''d love it if we got him ahead of *cough* some one else ;)
 15. Excellent post Paulo, Agreen with pretty much all of your points.
 16. I''d be surprised if there wasn''t at least 2 more signings before the season starts.   It''s been a pretty busy time for CH since he joined, having to rectify the Grant Holt situation must have took a while, sorting out the backroom staff IC/GC and Dave Watson along with looking at players who''s contracts are/were up for renewal.and having to get settled into the area etc.   Not only that, but the training ground is having a lot of work done at the moment getting ready for the class one acadamy status. with a large two story block for acadamy students being built, installed and fitted out between the indoor training area and the main buildings and some groundworks beside the new classrooms etc..  Which may indirectly take up a bit of his time. if only for the disruption it''s causing.    Also, as the majority of the first team only came back on Monday, he will only be able to start to assess where he thinks the squad may need strengthing after today when they started full training after the last two days fitness tests. I''d hope that by the end of July early August he will have added to the squad.
 17. For pure impact Hucks. Cant think of any other loan signing who gave so much and continued to give everything to the club even after he retired.     I remember when Nielsen joined on loan and banged in goals for fun, as Indy said we thought we''d got the bargain of the century, until he signed the contract!! His Wikipedia entry''s quite interesting in the controversies section http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Nielsen
 18.

Will wait until it''s official but if CH gets him could be a good bit of business.
Agreed, looks like a good prospect and continues to the young home grown pattern that has served us sow well. However, just wait for the doom mongers...''lack of ambition, I bet his wages are really low and that is a sign of a loser, we could have got an aged player who would take more money and offer less, we are doomed''!
Seems as if Chris is continuing the "he who will not be named" system of signing young players from the lower leagues who have the ability to perform at a higher level. I like the fact that we are looking to build a team not just for now but for the future, also isn''t he another young player who has Captained? for me always a good sign when a young player has managed to be a captain. Shows a level of maturity.   I''d also be more than happy with a older player if he was the Dion Dublin, Adam Drury or Hucks type, a respected proffesional who would lead the younger players by example.
 19. Would have to go with.   1) Scott Parker 2) Henri Lansbury 3) Ryan Bertrand   And if I could have a all time Martin Peters ;)
 20. Will wait until it''s official but if CH gets him could be a good bit of business.
 21.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2166171/Chris-Hughton-wants-Wes-Hoolahan-Norwich.html I also quite like the last paragraph
Brief and to the point article, but yes the last paragraph does look interesting.
 22.

Maybe he call every one "Dave" and regularly loses inflatable dolphins.
 23. Seems like very sloppy and lazy journalisim to me.   Holts Twitter " Well done to surs on his new deal well deserved done great the last 2 years for Norwich great lad 2."   Now, if he''s as angry as the report says,, he must be hiding it well.   As far as I''m concerened he''s a Norwich player till he puts pen to paper on another club''s contract. Lets hoope Hughton can iron out the mess and get him banging in another 15 goals for us.   Of course, if he does go to wet sham or someone else, I hope his shorts fall down every time he get''s near the goal.
 24. Shame to see him go, but what a fantastic example of what a proffesional footballer can be. Has been nothing but a model proffessional in all aspects of his career. a definate hall of famer.    Surprised at him going to Leeds though, as Old shuck said too nice and a gentleman to boot.   Wish him all the best though.   Thanks Adam
 25. I''m colour-blind and even I can see how bad that kit is!   Looks quite like the Cardiff City kit of 1972-3
