  1. The club is either leaving contract talks late because:a) The board will inject a huge amount of cash in the summer and therefore it will be open season for Glen Roeder  orb) The board are waiting to see how many of the current players they can afford to keep whilst leaving a few quid to scrounge a new player or two.I shall leave you to decide which.P.S  Please use the correct terminology cityangel, their LOONS in Narrrfalk not LOANS.Thankyou.
  2. Ok so he ''worked hard''.  Your meant to work hard as a professional sportsmen and whoever told him, and us for that matter he was a striker was being ironic.
  3. Something along the lines of prudence, playing it safe.''Its hip to be a square'' Perhaps.
  4. If what you say is true, then all the best of luck to someone who without doubt is one of the best players, ever to grace the field of dreams that is Carrow Road.  A true Canary legend.
  5. Sadly for the second time in as many weeks GR decides to have a little snipe; firstly Neil Adam''s now the fans.  Really am finding it extremely childish and rather pathetic.  Grow up Roeder.
  6. To finish seventh would be rather silly.  Why not just try that little bit harder and get that final play-off spot.  Finishing seventh is akin to getting 5 numbers on the lottery; you may as well concentrate and get all 6 for goodness sake.
  7. Can''t see why what Neil Adam''s said should in anyway rile Glen Roeder.  Is he therefore saying those at the club can''t disagree with him. Has he not heard of constructive critisism or the pooling of Ideas?  For goodness sake GR, were all tremendously grateful for what youve achieved thus far but keep those toys firmly in the pram.  Frankly all this stems from his not playing Huckeby, and dare I say it, subsequent realisation that he made a mistake. As for the comment''s saying he will in someway demote Neil Adam''s that''s just rubbish as is the idea the media will distance themselves from him - may have escaped certain people''s notice but the media actually rather like a liitle friction - It sells.
  8. At last, whoever or whatever the problem was, it would appear it''s over and common sense has prevailed.  Am looking forward firstly to us winning tommorrow, Hucks playing a blinder and me being able to be ''wise after the event'' and tell all those shameful Huckerby doubters where to go.   Bring on tommorrow.
  9. Personally I feel due to this outburst he should be frozen out of the team ala Huckerby, the press convinced it''s a purely a ''footballing decision'' as he''s not part of our a future and we have better squad players, somewhere.  Not sure where at this current moment but we shall leave no stone uncovered in our search down at Colney.
  10. Excellent.  I was rather concerned about the demise of Hex''s, always fun having a look who''s next in line for one!!  Call me superstitious but they seem to work.  That said Hex''s sound far more fun, carry on you cunning Wizard you :)OTBC.
  11. Indeed the legend that is D.Huckerby was giving the Cardiff folk the old ''what''s the score now'' sign and quite right too after having to endure their taunts all afternoon.  I find it rather marvelous he (and us) had the last laugh on the day!!
  12. May I suggest you get in contact with XXL aka Dave who writes a blog on this very website.  Quite frankly he is rather the expert on all things Norwich City ''shirt'' realated and could probably point you in the right direction.
  13. You have my support Bradley1, petition signed.  Good luck against Southampton, will be supporting you.
  14. I think one of GR''s assests is his ability to stay out of the lime light.  He''s doesn''t appear to be interested in ego''s or his own profile, more content to quitely go about his business, and as you quite rightly point out getting us the results.  Let the nationals talk about Ipswich or Hull or Bristol, who cares, we fans can see were heading in the right direction with a manager who really has the nouse and ability to get us back to where we belong.  Give the players respect and leadership who knows how far we can get this season.  There''s no such thing as a bad crew, only a bad captain, something we learnt under the stewardship of Peter Grant.  With GR at the helm i feel the futures bright, the futures Yellow and Green, ''on the ball city''!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Do we not get any commision on his ''extra-curricular'' activites or was that not part of the deal.
  16. The song is indeed called the canaries and can be heard/downloaded from the Myspace Norwich City FC page.
  17. Yes of course he has a say.  Im not happy that he has''nt stayed but i''m not in the slightest bit suprised.  As soon as he turned down the opportunity of another months loan the writing was on the wall.  Certian people said yesterday that Darren Huckerby did the same thing then signed, yes he did but he also made it clear if he wasnt wanted at Man City then his 1st choice was NCFC.  Taylor has never expressed the slightest wish to stay on any longer at Norwich once his loan expired.  We got a decent months loan out of him, he put himself in the shop window, end of story, after that it''s the highest bidder.  He has no particular affiliation with NCFC other than a months loan.  Birmingham will take the highest price for him and he will take the higher wage, we simply can''t compeat with either.  Huckerby is an example apart, it was''nt all about money for him, sadly players like him are few and far between.otbc.
  18. Sounds good Pete, might even get on tele then and would save us all the trip down there!
  19. Please no drummer or beller either, both are incredibly irritating especially for those who have to sit near to them.
  20. What gets my goat, is the Premiership don''t want him as he''s dreadful, and in their infinate wisdom, the F.A decide to use him in the Championship.  Once again anything but the Premiership doesn''t matter.  Know, nothing about football? Need a job? Contact the F.A, sure to get employment.
  21. Dear Sky t.v,Please please please please please, stop televising our games.Yours in hope,Andy.
  22. I''m amazed at the number of Huckerby haters on the message boards. Ever since he joined the club he''s given nothing but 100% in effort and loyalty. How easy people forget the season in which he was the catalyst which saw us promoted to the premiership. Twice he''s won the player of the year award (as voted by the fans). If you take time to read his comment''s you will hear his passion for the club and his irritation of our current position. Some say he should shut-up but what he sais is undeniably true regarding selling our best players and not replacing them. So in answer to our club''s problems, certain people on here wish to get rid of our best player, the only player other teams fear, the only player opposition journalists speak favourably of as he actually shows attacking intent. ''Get rid of Huckerby'' Fools.
