1. Because I believe that they have been inept over the Huckerby issue, that means I should stop supporting the club? If you disliked your manager at work would you stop going to work?
2. Terribly sensible post at a time like this.  Roeder and the entire board have been inept over the entire Huckerby issue - they will regret it.
3.
No Room for Sentiment in football... Hucks has been released because he is no longer up the standard in Roeders opinion. He was a high wage earner and to give him a 1 year deal just to keep the fans happy would of been a stupid decision... There will be another Darren Huckerby one day.. maybe next season who knows.... Good Luck Darren but lets see it from a team point of view shall we before we slag roeder off jas :)
''''Hucks has been released because he is no longer up the standard in Roeders opinion.''''But the Doc and Patterson are and Hucks isn''t??  God save us.
4. Frankly I had no intention of going.  Now I view it with contempt.
5. Can''t see us winning any sort of trebble soon tho Jas....or ever actually.
6. Why did''nt Roeder tell the fans that Huck''s would not be offered a new contract (seeing as he had made the decision weeks before) so we could say farewell to him, prior to Sunday???  I think his man management on this issue has been inept.
7.
Cant believe what im hearing...why are fans so fickle...look there was going to be a time we lost hucks, and yeh i dont agree with how this has been done, but tough cookie, get on with it. We have freed up some wages for someone who may just be able to show the commitment and skill that hucks showed, and using hucks as a scape goat for roeder is **** poor in my oppinion.  I know we have struggled this season, but i dont see how a 1 yr older hucks is going to make any inpact in our side, when i thought for spells this season he was very poor.  sorry to sound harsh..and good luck to hucks...but chill out on roeder, i hope for the sake of the green and yellow he knows what hes doing.......lets be fair, we could have ended up like leicester.....and where we were in november with 8 points, im happy we can build on next year.   sorry to rant but be realistic
I won''t ''backoff'' Roeder and the board on this issue - Muppets the lot of em.
8. Thankyou so much Roeder for not telling us ( he said he knew ''weeks before'' ) that you were not going to renew Huck''s contract and thus not giving us the opportunity to give a true Norwich legend his rightful send off.  Brilliant Roeder, you really should have been a banker.  Fool.Good luck Huck''s in the future. Legend.
9. Further to Sue''s article about the ''Green Men'' on Sunday - For those who have the picture from the EDP you may not have noticed the interesting way they have adapted the letter ''i'', not sure Archant did :).
10.
Yes indeed - and posted about on this very board a few hours ago.  I guess news like this could well have been put on its own thread - but AndyJR posted about it at 3pm on the "Hucks being punished?" thread, the link is: http://www.clubfanzine.com/norwich_city/showNews.php?id=10721
Thankyou Mr Pickle - I had not seen you had already posted it!! I was going to give it it''s own thread but as I said the link thing never seems to work for me ( or rather I can''t make it work :) )
11. Any truth in this? ( you will have to cut and paste it as I can never get the ''Create link'' function to work.  Someone might be kind enough to put in their own post and get it to work tho!!Hope it''s true!!http://www.clubfanzine.com/norwich_city/showNews.php?id=10721
12. And do you have the land on which we can plant our money tree orchard?
13.

with the limited funds we have available it would be madness to let a player like Huckerby go .
surely the opposite?
He''s made it clear he''s not about money Beaker - Why do people like you bleat on about him wanting to bleed the club dry when you haven''t a clue what he earns now or what his expectaions are to earn next season.  If you don''t like him, just say and be done with it.
14. The ''Green Man'' is also a Public House in Rackheath.  Irrelavent I know - just felt the need to share that.
15. Ronnie has been awesome this competition and sadly for Carter he has no chance in the final.  Worth a fiver on Ronnie making another 147 tho - best player ever to play the game imo.
16. Richard fell on his own sword?   Do you know why he isn''t continuing his articles then because I don''t -dont'' make assumptions.  For the record I''ve always enjoyed reading his columns and for one am rather sad they will not feature next season.  If you did''nt like realism then why did you read his column in the first place?
17. Cureton will be 32 next season.  For goodness sake, your over the hill at that age - look at Hucks.  We need ''new heros''.
18.
seems to me Roeder is trying to show how tough he is, could be his undoing.
Lol Ricky - Roeder tough - if it comes to that we really are in trouble.
19. Steno''s a legend.  Great player and always had time to talk when you met him in town.  I always thought he was a qualified Solicitor?  Maybe I''m wrong.
20. Roeder is looking for ''new heros'' and ''fresh blood''.  Is this also part of the three year plan to get us into the premiership whilst  spending nothing?  Roeders talking drivel as is Doncaster, although at least he''s showing some honesty in admiting we have very little cash.  Another 3 mediocre seasons me thinks.
21. Certainly hope so.  I actually think after Roeders ''new hero''s'' comment that Hucks WILL stay as Roeder likes to keep people guessing.
22. Hope it won''t be like last summer.  Being told to be patient and the signings would come and come they did - then leave.  I fear more of the same this summer frankly :(.  On a postitive note we have the Cricket season to enjoy. :)
23. I was thinking it would have looked more impressive using the new stand as a backdrop.  I suppose the yellow seats would disguise the yellow shirts?
24.
Yes I''m fine Huddy, glad that we won and glad that we''re safe but a bit upset to seeing Hucks look so dejected after the game. I hope they offer him another year but from his body language would guess that our love affair with him is over. Shame because I think he''s got another year left in him but what do I know [:D]
He has at least another two years in him CA.  We can all see that, yet the management can''t.  Best of luck to him at Sunderland I say and at least we won''t have to worry about him scoring against us as we have no chance with this board and management in charge of ever getting to the prem.I love this club but the way he has been treated is disgusting.
25.
Perhaps Keane knows, let the lad get on with it, all this tracking back is a load of BS.
Too right Ricky.  So what if he doesn''t back-track.  Suppose certain people would prefer a ''solid pro'' who does a ''good job'' on the left but has no flare, doesn''t excite anyone and is average.  Boring.  At least when Hucks gets the ball it generates excitment, who else does that?
