1.
The transfer window to open ?
lol.
 2. When the supporters asked for a chance to wish Hucks goodbye, they did''nt mean this:SAY THANKS TO HUCKS Posted on: Tue 13 May 2008CITY fans are being offered the chance to send their messages of thanks to departing legend Darren Huckerby this week via canaries.co.uk. Hundreds of fans sent their best wishes to retiring striker Dion Dublin through the Club''s official site in a similar gesture and we have bound those messages together to present to Dion in the near future. See a special photo gallery covering Dion''s career and download a free wallpaper. Huckerby has always enjoyed a special relationship with the City faithful - send your personal message for Darren to: thankyouhucks@ncfc-canaries.co.uk and we will pass them on to him. A wallpaper and a special photo gallery of Hucks in action for City will appear shortly. I also notice they are imploring everyone to go to the ''greatest ever'' event to say goodbye.  Will their cynical attempts at marketing ever cease?  Ah. Rant over, feel better now.
 3.
It will come as no surprise to you all that I will continue to follow his career just like I did when Flecky left us. If he goes abroad I too will get the shirt with his name on it and flash it at the Directors box at the odd game [:D]
I shall join you.
 4. What I shall really miss over the summer is Canary Call - People calling up Neil on the subject of  ''Loons'', always makes me smile.
 5. Thankyou!! All systems appear to be go now!!!

 7.
Looks like it''s going to be another one of them summers...... http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1311436,00.html Young quality premiership defender.....we aint got!!
Money talks.
 8.
" If football was ment to be played off the ground there would be grass in the sky". I might be wrong, but I have a feeling that Brian Clough said this...
Would''nt have liked Stoke then.
 9.

If it is Forest, how is it that they can afford him?, Why should they have more money than us?
How can WE afford him? And if we can how have we managed it? Thats what I''d love to know. What annoys me about Earnshaw is that he was guranteed to start any game he was fit for when he was first here, and he threw all that away to join Derby, who left him on the bench all season. He could''ve been a premiership striker AND been guaranteed starts with us if he''d stayed. I''d accept him back but this time NO GET-OUT CLAUSES, MR EARNSHAW.
You need to speak to Mr Doncaster, he appears to be the purveyor of giving players with potential get-out clauses.
 10. That sounds fairly realistic really.  Type of deal Earnshaw would go for as well - Retains his Premiership status and probably a shed load of money as well.  Good old Earnie.
 11. Always good to here from the big man!!!  Good work Freeza.
 12. Colin''s Transfer Hope  Mon 12 May 2008Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood today revealed he would like to complete his first close season signing very soon. The Reds have been linked with a host of players since securing their return to the Coca-Cola Championship after a three-year absence - including Derby striker Rob Earnshaw.Could be!!!
 13. Derby County have accepted an offer from an unnamed club for Wales striker Robert Earnshaw. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest but the Reds have refused to confirm that they have tabled a bid for the forward. Earnshaw only moved to Pride Park in a £3.5m deal in the summer but he has failed to hold down a first team spot. Boss Paul Jewell said: "We have had an offer that we have accepted but whether it happens or not, I don''t know." Earnshaw, who was left out of the Rams'' 16-man squad for Sunday''s 4-0 defeat at home to Reading, has found his time at Pride Park a struggle. He was signed by Billy Davies but barely featured under the Scot and was then also on the fringes under Davies'' successor Paul Jewell. Earnshaw only made seven starts in a dismal Premier League campaign for Derby, scoring once in the penultimate game against Arsenal. So that puts an end to him coming to us.
 14.
It is true :) well as far as i know i know him he goes to a gym offen and is very confident
Hence his ''great expected growth''.  All makes sense now.
 15. This is really annoying Me Lord, but due to conractual reasons, they are not allowed to show Match of the Day again on bbc I.  You could try Sopcast and watch the games repeated on there.
 16.
I know what you''re saying, Old Boy, but there is no good reason why Roeder''s decision to release Hucks couldn''t have been announced prior to the Wednesday match - none whatsoever. I''m not 100% convinced that it would have had an adverse effect on the team''s confidence if it had been mentioned even earlier than that, but there you go. I reiterate, I hope Glenn has learnt from this and tries to handle this kind of thing somewhat better in future. These are my last words on this subject, as it is time to move on and look forward to next season now.
What difference did team confidence make for the Wednesday match in anycase?  A team that was to be disbanded during the summer.  Should have been announced prior to the game.  That is all.
 17. He was a rather good player in his younger days.  Remember when he rang the Scrimmage just after Grant was sacked, imploring the club to speak with Chris Sutton (who he had met through Cricket) regarding the plight of the club, as Chris S had some ideas apparently.  Matt G and Chris G seemed less than impressed with the idea and did''nt appear to have the slightest clue whom Galton was.  Not into fine dining perhaps.
 18. Brellier.  Never again should You Tube be used to govern how good a player will be.
 19.
Poor old Delia can''t do anything right these days! Salty food, sat on the throne at the wrong time at the QPR game, no show at Huck''s departure, and now Gordon Ramsey''s knocking her down! http://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/topstories/display.var.2263391.0.gordon_ramsay_slams_delia.php Delias green ''n yella Army... She''s our hero, Let''s be ''avin'' you Delia, we all still love you really!
I''m suprised a man so self obsessed has anytime to talk about anyone. Excpet himself of course.
 20.

Unlucky Lowerstoft - At least they got the chance to run out at Wembly!!! Although personally I would take running out onto the field of dreams, which is Carrow Road over wembly.
Did that on Thursday Andy, and scored at the Barclay End - never again will I moan at a player for not tracking back - that pitch is massive!
Cool!!! Maybe next season when we romp to promotion there will be a pitch invasion and I shall get my feet on the hallowed turf!!!  Not holding up much hope - never seen a pitch invasion at Carrow Road!!!

 22.

I would suggest Ched isn''t out of the realms of belief. He is a terrific player, who''s player is only going to go up. I would sign him whatever the cost may be - although the figure I heard being quoted was £3m. I would snap their hands off, if that was the case.
Agreed - Ched is still young and learning the game. If we signed him permenently he would increase in value without doubt. If we can get him for £3m (which realistically is what he is worth) we would be getting an absolute bargain.
If we had £3 million to spend it would be a miracle in itself.
 23. His father has said it came as a complete shock to him. Good luck at Sunderland Hucks is all I can say.
