  1. Have to agree with the earlier post - I don''t think Brellier is as bad as Derveld...or Dalglish, I mean that took talent to be that bad at football. Brellier seems to be a good old fashioned clogger but I prepare to be proved wrong if he turns into our very own midfield maestro...
  2. Spot on in this thread. We are doomed. Roeder''s probably gone in with the pitch ''i don''t need any money'' and Delia and MWJ have given the guy the job based on that.
  3. I agree with CannyCanary, the problem we have now though is we need someone to lift us out of this losing mentality. Hucks is probably the only player with a spark in him to lift the rest of the team - one special run towards the opposition goal, a jink past a few players and that might inspire the others to go on and win...
  4. Maybe they waited to try and make it look like they''ve ''searched high and low'' for the appropriate candidate but ultimately come up with another duffer. If Allen''s the manager..god help us..
  5. I dread it if Hucks reads these columns and finds all these people slagging him off. He may just say he''s had enough and walk!! If he walks we have little or no attacking threat...
  6. Dublin should have been given the role if there was a straight choice between Duffo and Dion... Just read all of the posts about Hucks and feel that he is the ONLY quality player we have. When we play Lappin instead of Hucks on that side the lad gets vertigo ten metres inside the opposition half, stops and passes it sideways!!! Hucks is the only one (aside from Croft on occasion) who runs at the opposition with any conviction. This only mirrors a team with Darren Eadie in it years back...reliant on one player for inspirational pieces of brilliance.
