1. I definitely say that the Leeds United team talk writes itself on Saturday. If they can''t get motivated for this one then somethings rotten in the Northern Parish! Beat City and Leeds apply crucial pressure at a crucial time whilst getting a monkey (Northern or otherwise) off their back. This title race aint over yet - indeed I''m not even outing myself as certain about promotion! If they''re not psyched up and on their game then they don''t deserve the top spot. Same thing applies to us - and if any of the posturing on the Pinkun or the local press is a reflection of the dressing room attitude - then I have to say that I agree with you Shuck, we''ll be eating humble pie come Sunday. Job''s not done yet!
2. If he had just once showed sincere remorse for being the worst possible example of an arrogant, stupid, violent waster - then maybe. But emphatically NO! And I''d be really disappointed with my club if they decided to take him on. He''s one of the all time worst.
3. They all look like they want the ground to swallow them up!
4.
Has got 1-1 written all over it [:)]
I hope you''re right Angel! Leed''s are nibbling at it now. Last thing we need is a morale boosting 2-1 to United now!
5. Smudge - are you honestly suggesting that we are comfortable enough with our run in to start getting some early pre-season trials under way? Bit arrogant of us that!
6. No one''s saying it''s easy to bounce up. It''s just that they genuinely won''t be bothered about our exploits in the league below them.
7. I don''t agree Birchfest. They''re still ahead of us. Can''t say I''ll be gloating at them too much.
8. Wow - splicing these posts together makes for a muddled read!
9. Sky have just suspended betting on Shearer? My God imagine being a Hull fan. He could take 2 down in a row!
10. I''m going to hunt them down of course!I think we should draw a line under this one don''t you? But you should know that to kill me will only make me stronger!
11. Ha ha! That would be fun wouldn''t it? Get Glenn in as his assistant too...
12. Yep. He''ll probably be offered something. Yep I''d welcome it and yep he can contribute in the Championship. My personal best case scenario is that some funds are made available for Lambert to bring in some new, shed some dead wood and place some pressure on our top 11 or 13 players in their individual roles so that we can continue to progress. In other words - I hope he stays but that he''s not a shoe-in every week. In the team on merit....
13. Wow thanks for your mentoring Yoda! I haven''t felt this patronised for quite some time. Have another read - I didn''t originate this thread and I never said that I was personally intimidated by what was placed on Youtube. I was responding in general principal to the notion that in any walk of life we should ignore anti-social behavior. I just don''t go with letting things slide simply because they are already apparently rampant. In all honesty there''s not much on this grubby little rock that genuinely upsets or un-nerves me.
14. I know what a troll is Jedi and whilst I understand what you''re saying, I believe that if someone reserves the right to use the web without intimidation, then it is also their right to do something to limit or avoid that intimidation. Just because the web is vast doesn''t mean that we can''t seek to improve its use for all. It goes without saying that directly responding to trolls inflames the problem (I''ve made that mistake myself before). But just because a problem is overwhelming - doesn''t mean we shouldn''t attempt to be socially aware of it or flag it for improvement. The internet is so young that the rules of interaction are shifting all the time. You only have to look at the difference between this site and WACCOE to see an example of how web territories can be established with particular and specific cultures or rules of engagement.
15.
Meh It''s youtube FFS. It''s renown for it. If you can''t stand the heat, get off the internet.
I''ve never really understood that attitude Jedi. It''s a really useful tool for everyone to use, it''s fairly liberal in its approach (albeit sexual imagery is moderated while executions and war are prevalent - which is weird) but that liberalism is shockingly abused by weird, angry people who post the type of comments you just never hear in waking life. Comments like this are often so dis-jointed from the nature of the original post. Why should it be something we need to ignore?
16. Youtube is a brilliant resource but it''s rife with un-fettered, un-checked comments. Sometimes the most incongruous posts descend immediately into torrents of racism and abuse. I get the vibe that it''s almost par for the course. So yes - report it. The more that people respond to stuff like this the less people will feel that their online behavior has no cause or effect in the real world.
17.
I ain''t started singing yet [:)] Keeping my feet firmly on the ground, seasons not over yet.
What she said! Although I do have something of a glow about me now! It''s looking better every week!
18. God this board is so Leeds centric now that at the time of posting there are two Leeds fans on this thread to one City fan. What''s happening?
19.

Oh.[:|]
Morty, you are really the light of our lives on this board. No need to ecourage you to lighten up; Keep it going. [Y] OTBC  Pot..... Kettle?
20. Yeah I''m pretty sure they pretty much allocate an entire touchline side if the demand''s there. More like 3000...? Hope so!
21. Better than the current one although I don''t like those green armpit slivers. Better Yellow though. I don''t like it when we go too orangy.
