2.

How frustrating is Holt today? Man he''s missed some headers!
On that form we won''t miss him for a few games.... [:D]
I know you''re joking but we really will. Lambert really earns his money now.
 3. Well that''s really frustrating. I''m glad we picked up a point but we were robbed again by a dirty side and crappy refereeing.

 6. I weep for them I really do. God I hope we turn them over today!
 7. I honestly think a 3 - 0 revenge job is in order!!
 8.
but don''t worry they will soon be filling the 47,000 seater stadium they are required to have to be part of the world cup bid! Complete joke.
I don''t care if they end up using that stadium for any comps we might host - it''s a hell of a tidy facility. Leagues aren''t won on tidy facilities but I totally see why delegates national and international would concentrate on that. Crappy result aside I was impressed by their stadia. It''s just embarrassing that they cant even half fill it. But I don''t honestly understand why they shouldn''t have world cup matches there...?
 9. Nice to see Lappin becoming the type of left sided midfielder who chases back! Although ending up between the sticks is a tad enthusiastic.
 10. That''s some excellent thinking out loud for us all there Barclaybred!I''d like a draw.
 11. How long for Forster (I thought it was 3 but apparently only 1)?How long for Lambert? I hope it''s only 1 as he is the definitive tracksuit manager and our 12th man.Anyone able to offer any insight?
 12.

Yep Forster made a booboo no argument there. I think it was the only one of the 5 big decisions against us that the ref got right.
It wasnt the right decision. If you look closely Thomas-Moore is already on his way down before coming into contact with Forster
I agree that he was looking for it but Forster knows better than to give him that opportunity. As I said in my first response I''m proud that we have Holt who chose to stay on his feet. I said to my mate last night that if I was the keeping coach at Newcastle I''d have enjoyed that sending off. It''s what they loan him out for - to learn from things like that. Further more it is in my humble opinion the only one the ref got right because - as the original post indicates - he couldn''t really have been expected to give anything else. Forster did go for it and there was contact.
 13.
Having seen the interview with the chap yet but you can''t really blame him. Its like when you see players score when a foul has been given or an offside the just put it in the back of the net. Utter disbelief at how shocking the decisions were.
Nope - don''t agree! If it was me I''d have simply said that it did indeed hit my hand, that it wasn''t pre-meditated - just a reflex, that I was surprised to have got the ball under and was happy at my finish. I''d have acknowledged the goals dubiousness but accepted the goal being awarded with a smile as ''one of those things''.So he didn''t have to lie through his teeth on national telly did he?

 15. Holt had the chance to do the same at the other end but did the right thing, maintained control of the ball and got a shot on - I wonder whether he regrets not being more synical and drawing their keeper into a red card?I for one am proud of him for staying on his feet and trying to score a footballing goal!
 16. See! I said it was a good idea to get Mook involved in this thread didn''t I?
 17. I think Pete means that getting your seat cushiouned in the lower Barclay will attract some guffaws?
 18. Sorry King of Spain - that was very un-forumy of me. Mook is a regular message boarder on here who I think has some connection to said band. I was hoping he might chime in with some gig details etc''. They sound rather good don''t they.
