I always liked the darker greens, I think they look classier and call it odd but I think we lack a bit of physical presence with the brighter green. A decent kit designer could do something really decent with our livery just by tweaking the pallet a bit. I always liked the BRG and was a fan of the lotus kits.

Fernandes happy to talk to City!

And Wiz, you of all people should learn to hold the skidding around on your knees until after the jelly and ice cream. You''ve jinxed a couple of these in recent years! -

Just because he''s money bags, doesn''t make him fit or proper though does it? I''ve become so cynical about what would motivate someone to ''invest'' in a footy club. Let''s let the chair and the CEO meke an approach if they see fit before we go back down the route of giving anyone with a Norfolk postcode and a handsome ISA a blowy. -

The big recommendation from me is the station car park at Redbridge at the bottom of the M11. Hop on the central line from there. -
That would be skill man-management!!! Pee him off.

Have a look at Willinaylor''s post. Quite nice of him actually!

Nice one Willi..You wont stuff it again this season and we mustn''t become complacent either. Long way to go. -
Cheers for writing our team talk for us Mr C. Learn from this and display some diplomacy and maturity next time!

Colchester - If there is crowd trouble...
Romantic replied to The Chirp's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Anyone who resorts to violence at a footy match is primarily to blame for said violence. End of! It''s Colchester''s prerogative to allow as many away tickets as they have. Were I a Us fan I''d be miffed with RC for cutting off the clubs nose to spite its face. This "sell out" is a farce with tickets being given away and away fans in home areas. The extra cash on security etc must be punishing and the club look more spiteful than anything else. I hope we beat em fair and square, shut em up and move on. But if anyone crosses the line and misbehaves they can blame no-one but themselves... not even the massively childish Mr Cowling. -
It''s absolutely obvious that the police and stewards will be primed by the club to act with absolute prejudice towards our fans in or out of our allocated areas. Give them nothing to complain about, give the team a tonking on the pitch and make double the noise despite half the seats. Cowling and co will hang themselves if we give em enough rope, we must however avoid getting hoisted by our own petard!

I''m going. I went last time. No trouble at all and we filled our allocation.

Incredible drama queens! Hope we tonk em I really do. Hope our lot behave though.

Aaah! Bless!
Wouldn''t that be brilliant if we sold the Preston Colchester game dvd in our store lol
Nope. It would be dull. Be good if we spank them though. By the way - are you a Colchester fan going undercover? Just your name and post count getting me suspicious.

What value promotion? That''s the main question. Even if we were offered ridiculous amounts for our Holts anf Hooleys etc'' would that income balance out against the revenue lost by not getting out of league 1? Obviously none of these players guarantee promotion (despite what some on here believe) but the balance needs to be struck. I say - not at any price. But then I''d have a sex change and make babies with Grant Holt given half the chance!

Aight?

Although it''s snowing, it''s better. Assuming they have the man power to scoop it off, the ground beneath should be soggy, not frozen. -

Am i the only one who - on Charlton''s recent form - would rather that they played today? You''re assuming that they will win if they play. Not necessarily! -

Arrdee, Beausant, Ricardo and the Big Fella. People like these are what make trawling the dross and vitriol on these pages worth while. Reading their intelligent contributions as opposed to feeling compelled to spew my own ill conceived guff has kept my posts sub the 1K mark and spared everyone else my drivel... so you all have something to thank them for!
