  1. When you beat us last October. It appears that defeat at Derby the folowing Saturday would have meant the sack.
  2. Just saying when you become manager you have to earn respect. You don''t go spouting off before you''ve paid your dues. I make you look a fool. As for Grant being right, yes we got promoted, but it was a very close thing and the football was dire. Us Bruce Outer''s would assert that another manager would have done the job better. Its too early to say if we will stay up. At least we are passing the ball this season; he has acquired players that want to move the ball forward and the Heskey replacement has been avoided so no more hoofball. Its certanly better to be in the Prem than not, but the gap is sooooo big it makes you wonder if its worth it. You have your financal worries and wonder if your new owners have the clout the bring in the right manager and finance promotion; we have Carson Yeung who is supposedly a billionaire but raising capital in Hong Kong to complete his takeover. They say the Chinese are inscrutable so there is a lot of mistrust about his motives. He''s paid 50% over the then market price but the shares are edging up. He''ll have to invest in the team to get his money back from ''selling'' us in the Far East and there''s not enough to assets to strip so I believe he''ll be good for us. Good luck for the season.   No rude replies please/
  3. ... from day one. Said we Birmingham fans were stupid not to back Bruce. As if one day in the job made him an expert. Well twelve months later his credibilty is shot. Don''t interfere in our business when you haven''t got your own house in order.   BTW Bruce almost made a pig''s ear of promotion in a weak division when he had spent big again.
