1. Wilbraham has not come as a flat Holt replacement it seems as he''s playing alongside him.Looks like Lambo wants to make Martin a more complete player and drop Wes out of the hole and into the diamond ?!Regardless of the speculation, I think in the long run Wilbraham will come good for us.Dont forget he got the flick that set up the goal. The main issue with strikers is Jackson as he seems like a headless chicken ! First touch of a bull dozer.
 2. This time last year I lived in Hampshire....Belive me, you cant get a proxy server to listen to Snorfolk online I spent hours trying to get it online and it simply wont happen ! :(Best was when Norwich came to Saints and I could listen to the Saints on Solent. Shame we played 3 lost 3 vs them last year ! LoL
 3. I was listening to snorefolk .:( seemed the game woke up a bit at the start of  the second half , if this was due to the introduction of Martin or a little break up not sure, but we certainly sounded like we went flat when Holt went off.
 4.
Of course he isn''t - he''d struggle to hit a cow''s ar$e with a banjo this season. Part of being a great striker is getting in a good postion and he dosn''t do that often enough tis season.
Yeh like how he took the ball past 2 players to set up the rebound for Russel Martins goal.Fu**ing rubbish !
 5. Yup evidently you are both thick as two planks :)Silverfox, actually watch a game of football and learn how its played. Learn about things like offside and attacking movements.Learn what link up play meansLearn what holding a position meansLearn what knocking the ball to feet in a pack and pulling it into space isThen watch Chris Martin properly without your lazy rimmed glasses
 6. Hello NialI wont ta talk abut tha Chrissy MartinWell Nial, E''s Lazy in-eHe dunt track back or score enuff ghoulsWhats that Nial ?No , I wus not at the gameI was watching it on tha radio Nial
 7.
I can only remember one chance holt missed and the cross was behind him...blimey the lengths some people will go to prove a point. I want all the players to do well but c Martin had a stinker yesterday...that said I wouldn''t drop him
Were we watching the same 90 minutes ?Or were you listening on Radio Norfolk.......C Martin had his best game in weeks !!!!
 8.
Here''s the ''Battle of Bramall Lane'', truly disgusting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZDsjY3uFdE
Thats just shocking
 9.
Personally I would have the same starting 11 as we had against QPR as long as Whitbread and Drury have come through OK after their layoffs, if not I would bring Barnett in for  Whitbread and Lappin in for Drury.
Agreed !I dont think Whitbread can do another 90 so soon so Barnett / Whitbread looks the only logical change
 10.
According to the club Chris Martin is described as a striker and not a midfielder.  I think if you ask Chris Martin himself he will say he is a striker. Whatever position he played in yesterday''s game doesn''t detract from the fact that he is paid by the club to score goals. It was not a deduction by the way Nexus, it was a simple fact.
Why is there this myth that the modern striker is simply a one role player ?Using your template we should be telling Holt to stop dropping back as he''s out of position as a Striker.By the same method your saying that a Striker who over 20 games scores 2 goals and gets 25 assists is also NOT doing his job.Chris Martin ( although YES a striker ) played in a Attacking MIDFIELD role yesterday. He practically single handedly created the chance that led to the goal as well as having some really good play. He actually played with his back to the goal for the majority of the game, something that is a prized skill in supporting strikers and attacking mids as he is creating rather than finishing.Chris arguably had his best game in weeks yesterday. You keep on grasping at straws and making arguements with more holes than a lump of swiss cheese !80% of the posters are also dis-agreeing with your claims so why not just move on and argue over who should be the 2 centre backs at the moment. This arguement has far more possibility for debate and probably would not get you flamed so hard !
 11. As much as I respect your ability and compitment to continuely fighting your cause, you must understand that an equally admirable trait is the ability to realise when one is wrong and stop talking garbage !
 12. agreed Morty, im starting to think Silverfox is just trolling and loling
 13.
Congratulations you are definitely more stupid than your replies show.  Did you understand the comment about Hoolahan creating all the time, as opposed to once or twice a game in Martin''s case.  That is the same Hoolahan who scored a hat trick on Tuesday against Sheff Utd. I will try and keep this simple for you Nexus.  Goalkeepers are paid to save goals and strikers are paid to score them.  Kenny did his job yesterday, cannot say the same about Martin, how stupid is that?
Silverfox.A fantastic deduction that only Sherlock Holmes could come up with*round of aplause*Now........... When will you realise thatCHRIS MARTIN WAS PLAYING IN MIDFIELD
 14. Someone to cover Crofts and a young lad to cover Drury I think. I said young lad becasuse Id rather see someone whos going to grow at the club than replace Adam.I also would like to see Cody Mac in a Norwich shirt and would risk saying its time to bid a fond farewll to Oli, Askou and either Gill or Tudor Jones.
 15.
Jesus wept - he played in a very advanced attacking *MIDFIELD* role, at the tip of the diamond, and we absolutely battered the league leaders QPR in an attacking sense (21 odd chances wasn''t it)?! Do you not think that perhaps, his play had something to do with that? Or are you suggesting that the team carried him yesterday?Clearly Lambert felt he performed very well, as he played the full 96 odd minutes, and we all know that we have a manager who is not afraid to change players and formations if he feels things are not going well. Case in point, Sheffield United in our previous home game.Yes, he should have scored yesterday, but if he had have put one of those chances away I think you would have been looking at a MOTM performance from Chrissy. He put in one hell of a shift yesterday, and I think it is a sad state of affairs when he is still branded as lazy for playing a very disciplined and productive part in a superb win, against the league leaders, that put us up to third with a game in hand on the second placed team!
Post of the day right there mate !
 16.

Who was it who created the opening and had the shot which was blocked before Russell Martin scored from the rebound?
And what else did he do for the rest of the match apart from give away some silly free kicks, and miss two open goals.  If you need a example of someone who gives everything for the team then look no further than Hoolahan and he creates chances every time he has the ball.
If you are ignoring the fact that a certain  Mr P Kenny put on a goal keeping master class yesterday then you are even more stupid than you first hinted towards !
 17.
Every game I watch lately Chris Martin seems to put very little effort in.  I watch Grant Holt lose the ball, but he goes straight back in again to try and retrieve the situation.  Holt is always closing defenders down and does not give them a minutes peace.  On the other hand Martin strolls around and very rarely closes any defender down.  Whenever he loses the ball he just stands still and shrugs his shoulder, but never attempts to win it back, which I find very frustrating.  When he does try to get stuck in he invariably gives away a free kick in a dangerous position. He can get away with this when he is putting the ball in the net, because there is no doubt he is a good finisher, but yesterday he had two clear cut chances to finish the game off, but failed both times. Maybe Lambert should give him a rest and play Jackson alongside Holt and Wilbraham.
Are you on drugs ?
 18. :)Gotta say on the way outta the game I said to my old man, that Nelly reminded me of Tony Adams in the Arsenal double winning year ( 97 / 98 i think ) the way he took the ball forwards etc etc.Whitbread and Nelly have given Lambo a huge headache now !! Congrats to both of them, they were awesome !
 19.
What a game and what a great team performance. Never thought that Russel Martin would make it in this League but he has been outstanding and today capped it off. Great performance by Chris Martin at the front of the diamond, he had a huge part to play in the creation of the goal and this looks like a really good position for him.Why is it that every player seems to deliver, whatever he is asked to do? One reason only, we have a diamond manager, thanks Lambert and long may you stay!
Spot on assessment mate !Thought it was only me and Gingerpele that saw Chrissy as a top rate member of the squad !!
 20. When ( looking at a strictly ambitious point of view) he has a realistic chance of getting back to back promotions to league One to the Prem and cement that achivement Lambert would be insane to leave. There is no way Lambert will leave Norwich until the end of the season. Its like saying.... If i work for 6 more months I could become CEO of the companyWhats that ? A job just came as head of department down in Cattering.... Im already Head of Department in Logistics... I know I will go for that job....Completely change my job description and all personel working with me and miss out on the chance to become CEO.You would have to be raving barking f*cking mad !!!So lets give it a rest on Lambert rumors please. ( at least until the end of the season ;) )
 21. Shalke, Aldershot, Arsenal Shalke ( Germany) - Family tiesArsenal - half my family still lives in IslingtonAldershot - My uni flat mate was a huge fan IRL and they were his first team when they were still non league. So we all kinda took them on, that and a couple of Footy manager stints and they become an interest for me :-p
 22. Considering he walked into a team and 2 days later is expected to play from the start against (arguably) the best team in the league I think he played fantastically !Of course hes not going to know where players make runs, like the ball played etc but he had a job and did it.Won a lot of flick ons and nice little cusion down headers , his size made him a nuseince a lot of the time as well. Was unlucky to be offside or he would have had a debut goal as well.He was desperate to impress and did fluff a shot . you could also see he was frustraited with both Wes and Martin as they passed the ball between themsevles and Holt and missed him out...But again.... 2 days with the squad it was a MASSIVE ask as in Wes etc defence, they equally dont know Wilbraham''s game ! I just find it kinda sad and a bit upsetting that frequently people who consider themselves football fans and think they know about the game show that they really dont understand it at any given level.Sunday league for christ sake !!
 23. Well Whitbread and Nelly have given Lambo a massive problem now !!Awesome, we have 4 quality centrebacks !! About bloody time and may the 4 of them have a massive fight for the 2 positions as the only real winner here will be Norwich City !!Bravo to all 4 of them !!!
 24.
Martin-8- This is a funny one, he was very good linking up, tried to track back (was playing in the ''hoolahan'' position it seemed for a lot of the game), really should have scored two. Was quiet visibly tired by the end (like most of the others)...Defiantly not lazy in my opinion, and i think complements Hoolahan and Holt very well Holt)
Bang on mate.People just keep missing what Martin brings to the side and frankly I find it frustraiting !!
