1.

I just cant see how its fair that someone with a home season ticket might not have been to an away game this year yet enjoys the same chance as someone whos been to 10 away games but without a home season ticket. They should keep home and away tickets seperate!
Read the thread and what people have said. If we want to be particular about it, I, for instance, will be giving Norwich City £600 of business next season. If I chose instead to go to every away game, I would be giving them the odd price of a booking fee, maybe 20 or 30 quid total. Harsh facts, but facts nonetheless.
I agree with this - it isn''t fair, but it''s is clearly the right decision and very much in the best interests of the football club.
 2.
Here''s an alternative view. Im from Leeds, so I dont go to Carrow Road very often, I try and get there once per season. Now I go to every away game from the Midlands up and because of the teams in the Championship''s this season means, Ive been to 10-12. I could also have got to another 4-5 matches had it not been for work, finances, family stuff etc. I do not feel I should take priority over Season ticket holders because I have been to 12 away games and they have been to none. I also believe season ticket holders should have an advantage when it comes to ballots. Season ticket holders cannot pick and choose which games they want to go to as they are paying a lump sum to attend all home matches. While I admire anyone attending away games especially in some of the grim northern towns this year they shouldnt have an advantage when trying to get balloted game tickets. If you want to guarantee getting a Ipswich away ticket, then become Away Season Ticket holder. You cant say I went to 10 away matches so I could get Ipswich Tickets then moan when someone that has attended every home game gets them in front of you. If your trying to work out who the better fan is, is it the kid thats gone to 10 away matches just so he can get an Ipswich ticket or the kid that as been to every home game that season?
I see your point of view, but in my opinion the benefit of being a season ticket holder is getting the seat you have chosen for every game of the season at a discounted rate.   For me, the most equitable approach to deciding who gets to go to away games is track record for going to away games. However, life isn''t fair, and as I said above, it''s season ticket holders that are the clubs most important customers. If I were the club I would have the exact same policy. It''s the right policy, but I don''t think it''s the fairest way of doing things.
 3. I agree that season ticket holders shouldn''t have priority over regular away travellers, but I can see why they do, in fact it''s blindingly obvious! They are club''s most important customers and therefore the ones that the club will try and keep happy over anyone else. Whilst in my opinion the fairest method for deciding who gets to go to away games is previous track record for attending away games, people that only buy tickets for away games aren''t giving the club any of their hard earned cash.
 4. We won''t just fold and pay the asking price, particularly as Peterborough clearly actually want to sell - which is different to Brighton''s point blank refusal. I can imagine this going through to Thursday midweek with a few punchy tweets/press releases from McNally between now and then, I think we will get our man though. This is too big an opportunity to not take a bit of a risk on. As Lambo said, "if we''re there or thereabouts, we''ll go for it" - everyone thought he meant in January, he obviously didn''t.
 5.
" I reckon there might be a ballot for away tickets...?" Or you might just turn up and pay on the night as many others will
Good luck with that. It''s all ticket.
 6. The mirror broke the news of gunns sacking I believe. Also quite possible that posh have leaked it - or sir Alex has told dion? Dion knows a lot of people, not just at Norwich.
 7. I''m sure Ipswich was moved from Friday to Thursday night for TV coverage - BBC I would imagine, they seem to show all local derbies.
 8. I think going for it, could easily have referred to a couple of decent loan signings around the start of march though. It was never actually said that it meant the transfer window. We brought a couple in that time last season I recall, or Elliot at least, maybe another? I can''t remember now....
 9. I don''t think we need a striker, but I do think we need a decent winger. We don''t really have much of a plan B at the moment with Lambert seemingly having lost faith in McNammee. On Saturday we had no joy down the middle, but were playing so narrow that we didn''t get the ball in the box either. It was crying out for a winger! However, I agree fully that we don''t want to be just signing any old player just to get someone through the door.
 10.
Lambert said at the press conference that he hasn''t heard anything back from Brighton regarding the enquiry made for Bennett, but it is still on-going. So doubt he will be signing today.
Yes, agreed. Although positive that for the first time since we first made our enquiry that it seems there might actually be a bit of traction.
 11. As everyone else has said, Lambert would get Eastwood back to his very best I''m sure. I''d be ecstatic with these signings. I think it would complete the squad for the rest of the season. The quality of our squad as it would be with these two additions is just embarrasingly superior to the squad that we were relegated with two seasons ago.
 12.
As a rule yes, but seeing as the car will be a public place, if you work for the council or any authorities, then it will ba a smoke free zone. Lol
Where is the best place to park at Palace?
 13. The club sent a text with the wrong team so not just bbc
 14. My official SMS has mcnamee in not Jackson- but official site says Jackson! Hmmm.....
 15. Eh? My official SMS says macnamee not jackson
 16. Id guess 4-3-3 when we have the ball and 4-1-2-1-2 when they''ve got it
 17.

According to his Twitter it''s his day off so as Arsenal are travelling upto Leeds for the game tonight, I think it''s a safe bet he won''t be featuring this evening.
this could possibly seem to suggest that Wenger may yet let him have a loan extension...if he isn''t even travelling to a FA cup game?
I hope so, but I imagine Arsenal will want to win tonight and will take pretty much a full squad but start with the subs and hold a couple of players back. If it was the league cup I''d be more inclined to agree with you that there is something in the theory.
 18. Worth looking at, but I expect he''ll be priced out of our range, what do you think £650k plus? Even that is probably too low.
 19. I think the issue with this one might be cost versus how many games he''d be able to play. If he could play all then he''d be a great signing. A cool head up front, just what we need.
 20.
Unfortunately the urban myth of the transfer is with us. Smith will have a number of months/years on his contract left. We have to pay that whilst he is still registered with us. If he leaves he will expect the same wage or higher for that period. So either another club offers him more, the same, or less. If it is less we will have to way up the odds and pay the difference - therein often lies the delay in aplyer moving on. Unfortuately when a player does move on it is often simply that another takes over his registration and they then continue [paying his wage - the supposed free transfer. This will usually include signing on/agents fees. I suspect Smith will be the latter. we may have to pay a bit of his contract to shift him, but it will still free up money to spend on the squad elsewhere. The other problem with the transfer myth is where somebody like Dave Strikiva (?) joins us and we are told he cost £750,00 - many simply folk then believe that this is his transfer fee. It was not. It was the sum total of wages to be paid to him over a three year contract . The club''s recent accounts showed much of the guff about transfer fees was way off the mark.
The situation is different though, if it is the player that wants to leave rather than the club wanting rid of him.
 21.
Steve Morrison or Charlie Austin please and a couple of quick wingers.
No chance of getting Steve Morrison - he''ll go for c.£1.5m - £2m. Charlie Austin is more feasible, but even he won''t go anywhere for less than £800k, probably more than that.
