Newcastle looked disjointed and poor defensively. I am not really impressed with any of their signings and they don''t look better thanoour players. If we stick together and are compact then we will can get automatic promotion with a couple of sensible striking additions. The key is not making or being forced into wholesale changes.

Newcastle are building a new team after all their superstars have left. The Chumps is a different league to the PL. Only Norwich can stop Norwich getting promoted.

Norwich probably wanted to pay installments based on goals scored, promotion etc to make up £10million as opposed to Villa who will stump up £12 million all upfront for a player that has had no preseason behind him and will take until October to get match fitness and has never played PL football (there is a reason for this as well). McCormack is only worth £12 million if his goals get you promoted. Norwich only need a couple of players whereas Villa need 12 to 15 to get a promotion squad. There are better value for money options out there than McCormack.

More worried about Moxey asset stripping the squad than wolves future. As soon as AN has a bad run, Jackett will be in and we will be back to lower table mediocrity.

Great signing if true and ticks all the boxes for the board - young, hungry, modest wages and can only improve and increase in value. We will need another target man striker which will define our success next season. Brady hasnt proven his PL consistency for even a West Brom type to fork out £12 million. Klose will stay until January at least to prove his fitness. Ryan Bennett and Seb Bassong will be as good as anything in the Championship next season as CD. RyBen could even be one of the best players in the league next season. Finally, the younger players like Toffolo and the Murphy s can be given their chance and provide cover if needed.

The sting in the tail is when we sign kodjia for 5 million which is his release clause.

Redmond has a £20 million release clause so we could easily finance the deals for Kodjia and Hemed. We could backfill Redmond with Murphys x2 plus Patrick Roberts. Promo guaranteed. Easy life.
