1. League 1 team of the year: Kelvin Davis (Southampton) Frazer Richardson (Charlton) Gary Doherty (Norwich) Patrick Kisnorbo (Leeds) Ian Harte (Carlisle) Robert Snodgrass (Leeds) Jason Puncheon (Southampton) Nicky Bailey (Charlton) Wes Hoolahan (Norwich) Grant Holt (Norwich) Ricky Lambert (Southampton)
2.
He has a habit of going missing away from home anyway.
Just like he did at Old Trafford and White Hart Lane
3. Nothing serious, was taken off as a precaution, could probably have played the 2nd half if we didn''t have so many games coming up, wouldn''t be suprised if he played on tuesday night, if not he will defo play next saturday
4. I''d have Beckford in my side simply becuase he is a better goalscorer, end of that. He doesn''t need to work like Holt or tackle and track back for me if he keeps scoring, he might not be our player to much longer, but we will find a good enough replacement and we are 6 points clear at the top of the league with a game in hand, unbeaten in 17 and only 1 loss all season, more then happy so Holt can score as many as he likes as long as we keep winning
5. Beckford: League 16 in 22 Cups 4 in 7 Holt: League 16 in 25 Cups 6 in 5 So Beckford has scored as many as Holt in the league having played 3 games less and considering 3 of his cup games were against teams from higher leagues (Watford, Liverpool, Man United) his cup record isn''t that bad and all of Holts cup goals have come against Carlisle, Yeovil and Paulton Rovers, brilliant Beckford is better then Holt, simple as Add to that Beckford has scored 74 in 113 starts for Leeds
6. Plus we have alaways bounced back from poor results this season, we lost to Millwall, came back and beat Bristol Rover 4-0 away next game. 0-0 draw with Southend, next game we won 4-1. Back to back draws with Charlton and Carlisle, next league game who did we beat?? Oh yeah NORWICH Then another 2 consecutive draws with Huddersfield and Brentford, we then win out next 3, so i would easily have my money on a Leeds win at Exeter next week!
7. Haha, listen to you Norwich fans, we drew at home to Wycombe, yes poor result i''ll admit and we played rubbish, but last week we beat Man Utd and had won out 3 league games over Christmas 1-0, 3-1 and 4-2, hardly a team in decline! 17 games unbeaten and since our only league defeat we have had 8 wins and 3 draws, shocking form i know. Our 6 draws this season have been against Carlisle, Charlton, Wycombe, Southend, Brentford and Huddersfield, really we should be beating at least 3 of those and we are still 6 points clear of you with a game in hand!
8.
Yeah but I am a Norwich fan. Can you really make 669 posts basically all saying either "We are better than you" or "Beckford is better than Holt?" king cherub, have I offended you somehow? You seem to be VERY critical of this deluded 15 year old here [;)] [N]
When have i ever said beckford is better then holt or we are better then you, i know both are true but no need to make accusations like that. Take a look at the league table mate, it makes for good reading
9. And still not hgihest goalscorers in the league, Huddersfield on 43, you on 42 i think
10. Well not sure on Beckford shot ratio''s etc but he has scored 14 goals in 21 games. League 12 in 16 FA Cup 1 in 2 Carling Cup 0 in 2 JPT 1 in 1 He has failed to score in 9 games this season
11. By your prediction you will finish on 94 points, Leeds have nearly half that already from just 18 games, Leeds would need another 50 points from 28 games, would say thats a formality the form we''re on
12.
Northwich vs Lincoln and Leeds vs Kettering both confirmed TV games.Leeds on TV again..
Thats what you get when your top of the league, lots of TV games. We are the highest placed team left in the draw, playing a non league team, was always gonna be on tele. This is now our 5th TV game, and the Oldham game was live on FA website
13. Hence you were playing a team 5 leagues below you and you were at full strength, well done
14. If we want to go up, we have to keep him which is what we have done for the last 2 years whilst people have been after him and Beckford is still here. We don''t need the money so there is no reason to sell him, he is happy at Leeds
15.
Beckford wants out, his attitude oozes that of a money grabbing bas tard topped off by his transfer request. Granted if Leeds go up he MAY stay but do you seriously think there won''t be a few Prem/more established championship clubs trying to tempt him away on a freebe? I think he''ll go in January if Leeds drop their asking price and from there on in it''ll be an interesting run in. However, if he stays and the rest of the squad stay fit top spot is yours to lose.
Beckford never put in a transfer request, we offered him a new contract pre-season and he turned it down, so we transfer listed him but thought better of it and removed him from the list and turned down every offer we got for him, we will do the same in January and he will sign a new deal with us when we are in the championship next season. We are hardly going to drop the asking price, if we sell him then we could blow our chances of going up, would be like Norwich seeling Hoolahan
16. What you lot don''t seem to get is that Beckford doesn''t WANT to leave, if he did he would have gone by now, after all this is our 3rd season in league 1 and he has been with us for all 3. we won''t drop our asking price for him becuase he is that important to us, £3m minimum, if we don''t get offered that, we won''t sell, simple as. And no one, if they have any sense will pay that much for someone who has never played higher then league 1 and with his contract up at end of season
17. If Leeds keep Beckford in jan, which i belive they will, gotta gamble and keep him then offer him a new contract in the championship next season, if we go up he will stay imo. The only team''s to win at Elland Road in 2009 are Carlisle (January) and Liverpool in carling cup, we have drawn 5 and lost 2, won every other home game in 2009, We have got the league in our hands and there are 5/6 teams all fighting for 2nd imo. Norwich i think will get it with Charlton, MK Dons, Millwall and Colchester/Huddersfield in the playoff''s
18. WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE you may be highest goalscorers, but we are highest point scorers, and thats all that matters ;)
19.
Hmm Southend - a club with such high prospects for this season they''ve just had to sign two defenders on loan from their local rivals! [:|]
Well they got the top team right anyway ;)
20.
Just about typical. Away to one of the highest ranked clubs we could''ve drawn.
Ah diddums
21. Marshall 7 Otsemobor 7 Doherty 7 Shackell 8 Betrand 7 Carney 5 Russell 7 Clingan 6 Gow 6 Lee 8 Mooney 6
22.  Croft is useless, his effort is fantastic but his end product and awareness is very poor
