That relates to the employer giving notice in a redundancy situation. I was discussing the notice an employee gives when THEY want to leave - which is what the reported story is for Ben Kensell. 👍

I’m not debating standard HR practices on here! 😅 As I said, I would be very surprised if someone in such a senior role had a notice period of a month in any business so I am drawing conclusions about what’s gone on from that. Purely my opinion based on my own experience and I could of course be wrong but I think he’s been given the push and none of the briefings one way or the other to the press have made me think otherwise.

Notice periods rarely relate to length of service. More often linked to seniority and for someone of his seniority a month’s notice is VERY short. I’m drawing my own conclusions as to what that means.

What’s the source of this “information”? Because it looks very unrealistic.

Is there a chance that the Aarons deal has already been done? Just thinking back to reports of Madison to Leicester being sorted well before it was announced and that might mean they can progress targets using those funds sooner. Doesn’t seem Webber’s style to ‘wait and see’ about something so fundamental to the transfer strategy
