1. Do you mean me? some of us have work to do and don't get a chance to catch up. Just to add I lived on South Hill Road in my teens, watched Norwich v Sheff Wed cup match with my legs through the railings, delivered papers to Kevin Keelan and had Big Dunc as a coach to my youth team, also played for the Lads Club after the youth leagues. Don't add much to the board as I can't be bothered with all the in-fighting! but when I die any autopsy will only show yellow and green through and through. Living just north of Worcester next to the River Severn.
2. Remember singing this from the Barclay end. RIP
3. Definitely his catch phrase, he trained the youth team I played in - South Hill United (for free) and as a defender he said 'there are only 2 rules in defending: Rule 1 - if it moves kick it, Rule 2 - if it doesn't move kick it and if it then moves go back to Rule 1' A gentleman who gave his time to others, huge loss to the City and my heart goes out to his family and friends in this saddest of times. Pull your shorts up Dunc! RIP big man.
4. Forgot to mention Justin Fashanu who used to come into Samson and Hercules nightclub (I was behind the bar at the back of the stage), top bloke and gave me and a couple of mates tickets (in the directors box) to watch some scummy team and then into the Tolly Cobbald bar afterwards and mixed with Allan Hunter, Mick Mills et al, great time, can't remember the score but happy journey back due to Tolly and no police on way
5. Big Duncan trained the under 18 team I played for - always great and fond memories and I used to deliver papers from Frost's Newsagent to Kevin Keelan, happy days!!! Both great people who were not aloof at all!
6. This was my first game as well sitting in the Barclay End at the front with my legs through the railings at the front, never be allowed today - the excitement was electric and even though I moved away from the City some 40 years ago they will never take the yellow and green out of me - 'On the Ball City'
7. I used to deliver his paper on Booty Road in Thorpe. What a player and gentleman, loved the excitement of watching him play and lay out the centre forwards who where to aggressive with him! Seem to remember his laying someone out and taking his jersey off and running off the pitch only to be called back by the ref - only to send him off properly (thought the ref nearly got thumped as well) Happy Birthday to the greatest keeper never to get an international cap (think he was born in India?)
8. Still remember Hugh Curran, another great striker, who knocked himself out when stooping to head in at the Barclay End - sorry don't know who it was against.
9. Thanks Ricardo, always wait for your report, the game you mentioned I think I was at and remember the Millwall fans being a little boisterous after the match, at least that's one way of putting the house brick that flashed past my head on the way out of the Barclay
10. Some highlights up on Sky but not us yet, a bit of editing to do I guess ?
11. I suppose we shouldn't laugh but..... 😂😂😂🤣
12. It''s time to move on now, hasn''t been successful since has he?
13.
I used to deliver his papers - did you have them from Frost as well - if so your Christmas tips were terrible!!
That is to Lakeland Canary

15. Canary through and through - will never change even though haven''t lived in Norwich for nearly 40 years! Lived in Wimbledon - never went but did look out for there results but not as MKDons. Reading - not interested and now live in Midlands near WBA. Seen City there every time and loved the FA Cup the other year. Brother in law supports WBA and have watch a couple of games with him but no interest in the game for me (every time I have gone with him they have lost he he). Went to Vile last year with a neighbour and nearly had a fight as I was not supporting them - the neanderthal needed his wife to point out the lack of interest he was that stupid!!. So basically NO and never will support any other team. There is only one no matter what division and what style of play and who ever is the manager!
16. How about? Bunn Martin Bassong Turner Garrido Whittaker Tetley Johnson Snodgrass Hoolahan Holt a 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 formation
17. Does this mean an announcement is coming soon and any abuse is stopped before it starts?
18. I may be wrong but the account seems to have been removed - has anyone else noticed this? or has it been changed?
19. I live 10 miles from the ground,at the moment it is very sunny with a south west wind. Minimal cloud at moment. Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy and 2 degrees. See you all at the ground!
20. 3  football  fans - a  City  fan, a  Southend  fan and a  Scummer fan were all walking home after watching a game at the pub. They come across a dead, naked woman lying on the pavement, and decide to phone the police. The City  fan could not bear to see the undignified woman lying on the floor in such a manner, and took off his City cap and placed it over the woman''s left breast. Not to be outdone the  Southend  fan, removed his cap and placed it over the woman''s right breast. Similarly, the Scummer  fan felt he could be of assistance and removed his cap and placed it over her groin area.  Now, when the police arrived, the 3  football fans had to stick around for questioning by the police. They watched the officer inspect the scene of the crime. The officer picked up the cap from the left breast, had a peek, put the cap down and then wrote down some notes. He then picked up the cap from the right breast, had a peek, put the cap down and wrote down some notes. Next, of course, was the cap over the groin area. The officer picked up the cap, put it down and then wrote some notes. He picked up the cap again, put it down and wrote some further notes. For the third time, the officer did the same thing which infuriated the hell out of the Scummer  fan to the point where he went up to the officer. "What are you? Some kind of pervert? Why do you keep looking there?"asked the obviously annoyed  Scummer  fan. The officer replied "It''s just weird - normally, you''d expect to see a pr**k under a  Scummer  cap"
21. I remember watching Keelan many times, undoubtably the best keeper never to get International recognition but as he was born in India the criteria for being eligible was stricter then. I remember the sending off''s usually for punching a centre forward who had challenged too late too often and I think it was the one against Northampton when after laying out the bloke he took off his jumper and ran off the pitch. He was then called back by the ref only to be officially sent off.
22. I hope we don''t appoint this manager. As i posted on an earlier thread: ''Currently working with a Watford fan, apparently a rumour has been going round Watford for some time that Aidy Boothroyd has been lined up. He then said that this should be avoided as Aidy is always right, if you disagree that you''re out ie Keith Birkenshaw (who returned within 3 days of Aidy leaving0. Also his record of buying players is very poor. Record signing is Ellington who has been sent out on a years loan. We need a motivator who can manage on a tight or non exsistent budget who will involve and listen to advice and then make their decision, have good links with clubs and develop the talent that we have and bring in people who want to play for the shirt! It won''t be easy to find the right person and as we only have half a transfer window left it will be difficult to bring in anyone who can work with what we have in the kitty. We need someone to come in who can help us avoid the drop and then maybe upgrade in the summer.''   Out of the frying pan into a similar fire me thinks.
