Wouldn't getting the match delayed send a louder message than people not turning up? Especially if spurs are still in contention for champions league place as it will gain national coverage. Even more so if our game finishes late and creates further implications. It'd only need to be something simple like the beach ball protest Charlton did a few years ago.

I'm interested to see if Smith still sets us out high up the pitch with West ham able to hit us on the counter with Antonio. I can't face him scoring another bucket full of goals against us.

This is incorrect. The Liverpool care pathway doesn't exist anymore, and hasn't for years. If you're talking about palliation and end of life care this is the removal of active treatment, not nutrition and hydration. It's possible people can be receiving end of life care for years.

Who in all likelihood is going to stump up the cash to a) buy a controlling stake in the club and b) then put in around £200mill (finger in the air estimate of additional 150mill for transfer/agent fees and 50mill for the extra wages) from their own pocket for us to then finish, what...15th? Where is the attraction for a business person. Without Saudi-type money I don't think our ceiling is realistically too far above where we are unfortunately.

Not just worse than last time, this is possibly the worst attempt we've ever made at staying in the Premier league. Even under Hughton, at least we were picking up the odd point at home.

You know, it just might be that he was the number one choice after all. The timing of the Farke dismissal was predicated by he and his coaches going to Germany on Sunday for a break.
I'm not sure that's as far fetched an idea as some others are making out. Webber and purslow worked together at Liverpool. And while we've not paid villa any compo, we may have also saved them from paying up the rest of smith's contract.
