  1. You were the one who first mentioned spousal visas. What do you have an interest in? Espousing language that dehumanises people? That reduces people to numbers. You talked about the numbers of Taiwanese that should be accepted in the event of war. How many do you think the UK should/would take? I'd like to think that the UK would take as many as those who wanted to go there. What Gary Lineker tweeted about was the language around the immigration issue. The language that the government has used lacks compassion and empathy and the language you have used in this thread lacks empathy and compassion. I state again, Bill. You are a horrible person.
  2. Well done Bill. Your Internet search skills are still there (rememberthe mask thread?). The linked article discusses Hong Kongers feelings of displacement, they are still grateful to be in a democratic country such as Taiwan. Did you actually read the article? Have you ever gone through the process of applying for a spousal visa? Not simple. Even more difficult in the environment of immigration that the current government has encouraged. You are a horrible person with no empathy or compassion for others. that is evident by the way you have replied to me.
  3. You are a horrible person. These are real people you are talking about. If I were forced to move my family back to the UK due to war, where else would you like my wife to go. I have two young children, have a think about that. Taiwan has, in fact, accepted Ukrainian refugees and huge numbers of Hong Kong refugees. I love Norwich City Football Club and I wish it didn't have supporters of your ilk.
  4. Wow. What an idiotic response. You are truly horrible. This is an exact example of the dehumanising language that Lineker tweeted about.
  5. WTF? I never backed Dean Smith and I've never avoided tax. Come on give us a teaser of the top 100. 100 to 91 at least.
  6. I'd love to see that list. I'd guess that at least five of the top ten are about Dean Smith motor boating Craig Shakespeare!
  7. I've read this forum since the smudger days and this is the single most idiotic, repugnant post I've ever read. Congratulations!
  8. If he's proven to owe that tax I'm sure he'll pay it. Rather than spend the money on hotel rooms, I'd rather see a government that was able to deal with the applications (which are far fewer than most comparable countries) in a timely and effective manner instead of wasting tax payers money and stirring up hate.
  9. You're entitled to think he's odious. What he tweeted was accurate. The fact everyone is talking about this means we aren't talking about the government's failures, the cost of living, the NHS, etc and also that the government is hoping this brings down the BBC, one of our great institutions and one of the few remaining things which make me feel proud to be British.
  10. I think people should be able to find ways to not pay tax whilst staying within the law, anyone who did differently would be an idiot. I also think any government that did not make ways to avoid paying tax illegal would be idiots. I also think talking about this is avoidance of the main issue which is freedom of speech and the willful undermining of the BBC by the Conservative party.
  11. How many nurse's salaries could have been paid by the money spent on PPE to companies owned by the Tories friends?
  12. Imagine if Gary had paid more tax, the Tories would have been able to spend even more on PPE provided by companies owned by their mates.
  13. I'm a left winger and I wouldn't accuse the Tories of that. Hitler actually spent money on German infrastructure and rebuilt their economy! Your comments are deliberate and false and you know what you're doing.
  14. Advantage If the referee plays the advantage for an offence for which a caution/sending-off would have been issued had play been stopped, this caution/sending-off must be issued when the ball is next out of play. However, if the offence was denying the opposing team an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, the player is cautioned for unsporting behaviour; if the offence was interfering with or stopping a promising attack, the player is not cautioned. Advantage should not be applied in situations involving serious foul play, violent conduct or a second cautionable offence unless there is a clear opportunity to score a goal. The referee must send off the player when the ball is next out of play but if the player plays the ball or challenges/interferes with an opponent, the referee will stop play, send off the player and restart with an indirect free kick, unless the player committed a more serious offence. So from reading this the goalkeeper would have been cautioned I think. Although I'm not sure the ref did give advantage. It does also seem that once the shot has been taken, the ref can't pull play back and give the free kick. Idah should have gone down.
  15. Threads like this disgust me. By saying it's not their fault you are implying Hillsborough was their fault. Watch the documentary on Hillsborough and how liverpool fans and their greiving families were treated by the press, the government and the police and give your heads a wobble.
  16. In light of Vialli passing, R.I.P , I'd love a masterclass in how and why him and Mancini worked as a pairing (I'd guess it's much more complicated than the much loved British big guy, little guy forward paring). Re. Norwich, the systemic change off the pitch, which we all hope is forthcoming, needs to matched with systemic changes on it. How does @Parma Ham's gone mouldy invision Wagner might be able to make this squad competitive in this division?
