2 points off playoffs?
dylanisabaddog replied to dylanisabaddog's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Awkward isn't it? 😂 -
A huge if, but if we win today it's 2 points off the playoffs. Bearing in mind we've had so many injuries and played badly several times that is extraordinary. Perhaps I should feel slightly ashamed for voting for Wagner to be sacked?

I heard on the radio yesterday that these clouds are 60,000 feet high!

Trump or Biden? Or both?

The Villa fan I know thinks they'd be 5 points clear if Emi was available and moans like mad about Bailey. Emery called Emi the team's "heartbeat" at the end of last season. He also says Tielemans has made a big difference and says they look better at the back without Mings.

I'm not sure what you mean by "it's all revenue in the pot" -

Do you want half of your season ticket money to be used to pay the Norwich ladies team? -
Bungay recorded the highest number of Satanists per head of population in the UK. The way the census was worded was heavily weighted towards organised relgion. It was possible to register as agnostic and Christian which is nonsense.

First time I've seen Sheffield United this season. Persistent fouling doesn't begin to describe it.

Villa v Sheffield United. VAR is at it again. Looked a clear penalty to me.

I draw attention to it merely to point out that Connor has stood his ground. Sorry if that annoys you. -

I don't want to make it stand which is why I haven't reposted. It was initially very light hearted. -

Sorry.... -
Oh dear. I posted a joke thread about female refs which elicited a rather unfortunate sexist comment from one poster. Both seem to have disappeared.

Brighton pissing about at the back

Good point regarding variation. It is the spice of life. The unfortunate fact is that Krul wasn't as good as Gunn with his feet. His chipped passes to Max on the touchline never ended well. I have printed several copies of @hogesar post and will hand them out tomorrow. If you hear a lot of f** ing and blinding in the upstairs River End tomorrow it means the f****ing bloke next to me has f***ing read it. He'll say f****ing hogesar is a f***king idiot. Then we'll hit it long and f***ing lose it.... -
You seem to forget that the UK voted 68/32 against PR in 2011.

Good Lord. Knotting his tie incorrectly. Didn't he know that it's things like that that made our country great? Very disappointing.

I always thought they were harmless until I saw the Rebecca Vardy documentary. A couple of months ago they knocked on my door and a child of about 4 or 5 made a little speech. I found that a bit disturbing. Anyway, today sees the 'shortest' day of the year. From now on it gets lighter and better, leading up to us beating Ipswich in the playoffs

European Super League judgement day
dylanisabaddog replied to dylanisabaddog's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No one has said they don't want to be involved. 4 clubs have made statements saying they wish to continue to participate in domestic and UEFA competitions but they specifically haven't said they don't want to join the A22 competition. They had the opportunity to say they're not interested and deliberately didn't take it. That's hardly surprising as they have almost certainly been involved in the court action. -

Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Spurs have put almost identical posts on their websites confirming they are committed to UEFA. Liverpool have just said it wasn't them and blamed everyone else. -

Coaches have analysed matches and found that when the goalkeeper kicks the ball long his team loses possession more often than not. With Norwich City that's 80% of the time. So kicking it long is more likely to result in eventually conceding than playing out from the back. That's not an opinion, it's a fact based on statistical analysis. Obviously some teams are better at it than others and it's noticeable that we have been way better at it with Kenny at the back. There is a lot of data and analysis on the Internet https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/37576665/why-playing-back-brought-mixed-results-premier-league-clubs -

Football is free That's the message they're using. Interesting that Bayern Munich has just said an emphatic "no" This is all very peculiar. Did they really go into this without one of the biggest clubs in Europe? Man Utd have been much more measured in their response. They remain committed to English football. Boll**ks
