What a goal - Kamara again
dylanisabaddog replied to RobJames's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He's clearly too good for League 1. Next season he'll either be starting for us in the Championship or on the bench in the Premier League. -
So you're OK with white people who kill a lot of people but when someone comes along who isn't white you have a problem? I'm afraid that history tells us that white people kill more than non white people. That's an unarguable statistic. I'm truly sorry for you if you don't quite get that.

I struggle to see the relevance. Those of Asian descent commit less crime per head in the UK than the indigenous population. Although obviously when they do they get on the front page of the Daily Mail.

What a brilliant idea! We could have them in the City Stand to pick up the snoring https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/apr/11/unsilence-the-crowd-newcastle-shirts-to-enhance-experience-of-deaf-fans

No it isn't. I'm afraid £20k a week wouldn't even fund one decent loan signing -
I keep a record of the annual arrival of House Martins. Should be in the next 10 days. If anyone sees one please let me know. Thanks!

Sorry, I should have said that this was 7 years ago. The main problem was bullying to a frightening degree. Having spoken to my postman recently he thinks that local management is over promoted and can't cope. That's his opinion, I have no idea if he's right, BUT they have no direct entry management scheme so local management compromises postmen/women who are no longer capable of walking a delivery round. They're a bit like the police used to be in that the people in management/investigation roles are only recruited from the PC employees. -

I know a mental health nurse in Norwich who told me that the worst employer in Norwich for mental health is the Royal Mail. Why on earth is that? -
Well done Trigger! Although looking back, he should probably have been called Boris.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-68779132

We never cope well with aggressive teams that play a long ball style (honestly, one of them actually said this) -
Worried about the play offs?

In general you're right. If you take away Southampton and Middlesbrough it has been 50/50 for us with refs this season but the Southampton game in particular was crazy. I don't remember anything like it. But this isn't really a thread about poor refs. It's more about the serious effect that injuries have had on our season. We have been without between 2 and 4 of our main/only attacking players for up to half the season so far. If you extrapolate the points gained with them in the team we would be in the top two. @DraytonBoycorrectly says we're not as good away as at home but nevertheless we shouldn't fear anyone if we remain injury free. I may be wrong but I'm not aware of any other club in the top half that has struggled to the same degree. -
Perhaps we shouldn't be. Our record with Josh starting is now 43 points from 21 games. Two of those games (Middlesbrough and Southampton) were affected by very strange refereeing decisions which probably robbed us of 5 points. Given a fully fit Josh Sargent throughout (and Barnes, Sainz and Rowe) we would probably be top of the league. We really shouldn't fear anyone.

You just mentioned Coldplay and The Beatles in the same sentence. Go and sit on the naughty step for 15 minutes and think long and hard about what you've done 😱 -

It's been brought to my attention that I've been called an idiot by a person who supports Brexit and now wants us to leave the UN and the ECHR. His suggestion for after we leave these institutions is to give them a ring and tell them in no uncertain terms that if they don't change we won't be coming back.
