1. Sorry about that post above, forgot that IE seems unable to handle HTML anymore.
 2.

It appears that there has been some objection to the Friday joke thread that I have started for the cheering up of and amusement of my fellow posters. You may (or may not)have noticed that this weeks has been removed this evening. On another website one frequenter of this site has raised this as objectionable and a reason why the Pinkun site has "gone down hill". It has never been my intention to offend anybody but obviously I will not be starting this thread in the future as some persons of the PC variety(in this instance Jetstream) have found it "against the rules of the forum" and have used it as a form of critisism of this forum.
Why don''t you start the thread in the ''It''s not just football'' section Butler? There have been plenty of joke threads over there in the past which have contained topics that you might describe as ''un-PC'' without any fuss being made. Personally I find jokes about thick Irishmen very old fashioned and not at all funny but it''s pushing it to describe them as racist IMO.And don''t worry about what users of that other website think about us. I''ve visited it a couple of times and although it seems a little more civilized than this place it also seems incredibly dull and sanitised. The constant carping about the Pink ''Un (or the Oink ''Un as one user who used to post here has referred to us as last time I was browsing) is also pretty undignified for a group of people who seem to want to claim the moral high ground.Keep posting Butler and I''ll try and think of an amusing joke by next week [:D]
Call me stupid, but what''s this other board you talk of? Never realised there was more than one. (Oh unless you''re talking about Wrath of the Barclay, but surely they''re not more civilised than us?)
 3. Not so confident myself, I can see us slipping up a here. MK Dongs 2 - 0
 4. Personally I think we should boycott the franchise, but I''d rather see us beat them, and if that means we need supporters there then so be it.  Personally I can''t go (currently in another country) but I hope you guys who''re going have the sense to sing a couple of rounds of ''AFC Wimbledon''.   Just remind the scummmers that they''re not welcome in the civilised football community.
 5.
Away win up north - admittedly in August! Top half. Two points off the playoffs. And Paul McVeigh making his contribution according to reports - seems Gunn made a good call there. Not too bad now,eh?  I think that Lambert has stabilised us after that rocky start. Question is - can he get us out of the blo*dy Third Division? Will he prove to be the right man? Well we''ll see, I guess. But there''s a long, long road ahead this term. OTBC
Now we just need an away win in London and we''ll know it''s the end of our problems.
 6.
Milton Keynes cause I was the biggest baby ever born in MK Hospital. [:D]
Franchise Scum.AFC Wimbledon, cos I grew up in South London (dad''s from Norwich which is how I got into the Canaries), and my brothers a supporter, so I go to games when I''m home.
 7.
1st - Install Mozilla Firefox.2nd - Install ADBLOCK PLUS in the ADDONS for Firefox.3rd - Install FLASHBLOCK in the ADDONS for Firefox.4th - Install SPYBOY SEARCH AND DESTROY and keep it up to date. (This is a separate program altogether from the above items)All these are free. Firefox knocks Internet Explorer into a cocked hat.
You took the words right out of my mouth (or fingers, given that I''m typing and not speaking)
 8.
A win. Make of that what you will!
Didn''t Gunn''s reign start with a 5-2 win aswell though?
 9. 21 M  Born in South London but currently go to uni in Newcastle.  My dad''s a Norwich fan so grew up supporting them, but only started going to games 7/8 years ago, originally just London away games but since my dad''s moved back to Norfolk and got himself season tickets (Lower Barclay w00t) I''ve been making it to home games aswell.
 10. More to the point, where''s the Canary when all the mascots start chasing the guy?
 11. Coach & Horses all the way, couple of pints of Brewery Tap & a steak sandwich = perfect pre-match preparation
 12. I enjoy writing limericks you see, about my favourite City,as a procrastination toolit''s successfoolbut that ryhme wasn''t pretty Erp I think I''ll stop now.  BTW, I went to Norfolk in Virginia yesterday, and their fire hydrants are Green & Yellow!
 13. I find it ever so sad,to see norwich playing so bad,but I prefer league one,to supporting some scum, like Roy Keane, MK Dons or Darren''s Dad(Darren ferguson)
 14. I don''t really care for Gunn, but my team I shall never shun,so I''ll sing out loud, green and yellow and proud, and soon we''ll get out of league one!
 15. I went on to the pink''un boardWhile avoiding my work abroadinstead of football I foundlimericks aboundand so my work can be ignored!
 16.
Much of the noise is from fans of the USA team as we crushed Egypt while Italy crumbled like little girls in front of Andrie Chikatilo as they "played" Brazil.  US advances while Italy and Egypt go home early.  We finally had sensible refs who weren''t going to pull out a red card for obvious yellow card offenses by our players while completely ignoring worse tackles by theirs.  BRING ON SPAIN! (and a ref who doesn''t play that "fake falling deserves a card" game)
Fake falling DEFINITELY deserves a card, and you''re probably the first football fan I''ve ever heard to argue for diving.  If that''s how the USA play then you can definitely stick to your "football" for all I care, the last thing the international scene needs is another team of diving cheats.
 17. He''ll do alright, won''t set the world alight but shouldbag us a few goals, whether or not he gets much of a look in depends on how our new signings turn out (not holding my breath on any of them) and whether Cody lives up to his promise.  Problem is with Martin is that he''s a decent enough striker but not the sort of player you can really see leading a team, he needs good service to be effective, and we''ll have to wait to see whether he''ll have it.
 18. That said I have now located the Trowel & Hammer, so you''ve narrowed it down a bit for me [:P]
 19. Awesome!  Me and you LQ, take on the world!(Plus, for the record, I have no idea where you live)
 20.
But the word is pernickety. You could always write to the OED?
http://new.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1702094/ShowPost.aspxIt''s just cos I messed up here, you think the OED would accept "to make me look less foolish on internet messageboards" as a valid reason to change the spelling?
 21.

I''ll assume that''s not directed at me, although the way the NCISA sign up details seem to be dished out to just about everyone it could be (although this is obviously in direct contravention of the Data Protection Act 1998)...
15 posts on this thread and not one mention of NCISA until.........................and i was accused of Paranioa on another thread by the same poster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Truth hurts does it, Mr Facebook Trawler who scours the database to find out where I live? Or is that how you define detective work? And it''s ''paranoia''. If you''re going to say it learn how to spell it, that''s what my Dad used to tell me*. *apologies to all the less pernickety posters, obviously!
I think I''m going to start a campaign to make ''pinickity'' the official spelling so that I can use it too!
 22. Oh for sure, it''s just this is the second thread I''ve seen today that makes the same your/you''re mistake that I see SO many people make and it makes me wonder how hard it can be to know the difference.  I''m not even that bothered by txt spk, if it''d been "ur a disgrace" I''d have probably let it slide.  Sod''s law that I try to sound too clever and fuck it up though [:(]
 23.
(Pernickety) [:P]
As I wrote that I thought I''d got it wrong.  Spelling clearly isn''t my strong point [:P]
 24. I agree with this post, it would be nice if the self styled "true" fans actually started wanting our team to win rather than hoping we fail so that they can say "I told you so".But my personal bugbear is certain grammar rules, most notably the whole your/you''re thing.  It should read "you''re a disgrace".  :-P  sorry for being so pinickity
