1.
I think Mandaric is talking crap TBH. Our total income last year was only £18 million so if we were to lose over half that then we are pretty much finished. I think you can take it though that our income next year will drop by somewhere between 25 and 30%, so there will be some severe cost cutting. It''s pretty much certain our team will be made up of youngsters and nobodies....i''d be very surprised if any of Marshall, Cureton, Croft, Clingan, Russell, Lee, Pattison, Drury are still City players next season as we just will not be able to afford them! I too think he is talking crap, i have no idea how he got the sum of 10m, hes getting on a bit, so hes maybe counting last seasons losses too, i don''t imagine your losses/ lack of money gained will be any more than 4/5m maximum..
 2. If this happens it will be a major step to killing football.am i right in saying clubs in these 2 premier divisions cant be relegated or promoted from? if so that would be f**king pathetic.am i all for rangers and celtic being in the english leagues however, no more easy champions league qualification for them and no more thinking they are world class when they would only be like a bolton in england.

 5. Ipswich and their fans will want nothing more than a win and would love to see you get relegated no doubt, but come next season and getting the fixture list and without seeing the norwich - ipswich fixture they will be disappointed you are no longer in the same league, because i''d imagine the fixtures between you 2 clubs would be the first both sets of fans look forward too, and as its your only real derby game they''ll miss you lot. I know i''ve missed the derby games vs derby for the last 2 years and the ones vs forest for the past few seasons and will be delighted to be played both of them next season, aswell as coventry.so short term they''ll be delighted, long-term they''ll be gutted, i''m sure.you''ll have no problems beating them today, though!
 6.

Is this on tv? fancy watching this game..would appreciate a quick reply, thanks and good luck
''Fraid not mate- its on 5 live though
ok - shame, thanks for the response
 7. Well done to Wolves, personally wanted them to go up at the start of the season.but, more importantly congratulations to leicester and nigel for getting us promoted at 1st time of asking, not many teams do it! delightedAlso, its nice to see a club who have been punching above their weight for too long get relegated, hopefully saints and plymouth follow, if plymouth survive i hope its not at the expense of forest (to enjoy a derby day out)
 8. Is this on tv? fancy watching this game..would appreciate a quick reply, thanks and good luck
 9.
Last year when Leicester were in a similar situation to us... Leicester 4 Norwich 0 ( Leicester were relegated despite having a respectable goal difference ) This year... Norwich 4 Barnsley 0 ( Norwich were ********* despite having a respectable goal difference ) Me no like this comparison [:''(]
we also thrashed the champions away.. youve thrashed wolves..anyway, like people have said no season is the same and you''ll be fine - just hope forest are too so i have 3 derby games to look forward too!!good luck
 10. Has anyone got a link so i can listen to this game tonight bearing in mind i live in leicester so cant get radio norfolk...any help would be appreciated - thanks and good luck.. i predict a 2-0 win for you lot
 11.
Any Leeds fan would agree with that.
I think most leicester fans would agree too, this is an under-rated division - good football played generally, a lot of goal scorers and young talented players amongst experience pro''s, this season has been far from easy so far, i just hope we can achieve promotion which we are on target for. If you go down, don''t think you''ll win most games because i doubt you would, and i doubt leicester would get promotion next season if we dont achieve it this season.
 12. The losses include losing 2 managers to the sack, loads of new players like dj for 1.6m, huge signing on fees, etc not just because of less revenue coming in from this season. we sold players like mcauley, hume and stearman for in access of 1m to keep us financially stable for anothr year but even with these millions from players we''ll still lose millions this year, your loss wouldnt be anywhere near as great as ours although as you havent got a mad chairman willing to pump millions into the club it could mean the 5m or so you will lose out will hit you hard and you will NEED to sell your assets like clingan unlike us, unfortunately for you..not many teams would ''do a leicester'' and get promotion, presuming we do so, especially with huge losses
 13. leeds - haha - would take some beating to be a bigger joke than them
 14. Leicester havent spent big money this season like when we did in our relegation season (1.6m on dj, 1m on clemence, big signing on fees for cort and kaebi, etc) we lost over 14m and milan has got in a good manager with a fantastic 6 man scouting team that have found gems such as morrison from cambridge for free/ compensation instead of buy past-it ''big'' names. We got rid of ollie and therefore lost the image of being a joke club with that muppet in charge and Pearson is just perfect, very level-headed and focussed aswell as having a good relationship with the players. Keeping hold of players like Oakley, Howard, and getting in a few quality loans (jack hobbs, etc) have really helped aswell as our only signing for a fee (i think) tunchev who was fantastic before his season was cut short in a cup game.Roeder wouldnt have been the man if you had went down, Gunn wont be, Clark would have been perfect and its unfortunate you lost him before sacking roeder..So if you have a good scouting system and can get the usual amount of loans in, you could get top 6 next season (if you go down, which i dont think you will because of the amount of poor teams down in the scrap..) just don''t believe you are bigger than League 1 and dont under rate it because teams try play most of the time and it feels good to be doing well. The reason why leeds are doing so poor is because they think they should still be top 4 in the prem.. Good luck
 15. You lot remind me of us last season, we beat WBA 4-1, watford 4-1, you 4-0 (i think), and a couple of other ''shock'' wins and playing really well and then a game after either not playing well or just not being able to convert our chances, so many loan players in too just not making the grade (such as etuhu from man city). Ive been keeping an eye on Norwich for a couple of years because of knowing a norwich fan and you may get lucky this season and stay up because of a lot of other poor clubs in crisis (saints, charlton, watford, barnsley, plymouth..) Good luck and hopefully will see you at the Walkers next season..oh, and curo + cort must be the funniest strikeforce ive seen for some time
 16. HAHAHAHAHAHA - This signing has made me laugh a lot - absolutely terrible signing, I really find this hilarious - I watched your game against Ipswich and you were a class above, but if you change your style around Carl Cort - god help you!!! Best of luck! (You''ll need it!)HA!
 17. Be grateful you didnt get stuck with Ollie, I rated Ollie before he joint us but hes clearly been out of depth and cant spend money or get decent loanees, I didnt rate roeder and hes kept you up and brought in some good loan signings which have clearly helped, some fans are just never pleased, be grateful you wont be in l1 next season, losing most your prize assets not just one.
 18. Marshall - 6 Otsemobor- 6 Doherty- 5 Shackell- 6 Camara - 4 Henry - 1 - hardly noticed him and didn''t seem capable of playing at this level yet. Russell- 4 - Bad tackle but has Ollie said, thats just the way he is so no real complaints about the tackle even though he deserved red. Coft- 8 - By far your best player Dublin - 5 Ched- 5 - Didn''t too much Subs Pattison - 4 Cureton - 4 Hume and Clemence impressed me today and they are usually not the outstanding players for us. Hume - 9, Clem - 8
 19.
I don''t think anyone could disagree with that. I thought yesterday''s performance proved that there''s no way we''ll get relegated, but that equally those who have been talking of the play-offs are seriously deluded. We have no real cutting edge, and we''re going to draw too many games because of that.
Listening to the game on the very poor BBC Radio Leicester you sounded absolutely outstanding and we sounded very poor. Taking nothing away from your performance because you could and should of won this about 5-0 atleast in the first half but you need a striker to put away some of your chances because you put 37 crosses into the box without scoring. However, we were very lucky Alnwick didnt get sent off during the game and you had a clear goal disallowed but this does happen in football. We havent had any luck this season tbh and it makes a change for us to get some but i know a Norwich fan and he says you also have bad luck with refs. Why do refs hate us? Several of your players sounded outstanding, mainly Croft. I dont understand why you are where you are, possibly because of your poor strikers? I''m sure if you get in a striker to go with Ched then you could push up the league and possibly grab a play off spot but definately a very respectable position in the top half of the league. Dion also sounded very good today as well, probably because of playing his home-town and former club? Or does he always play this well? Finally, several Leicester fans seem to think we were worthy of a point or more today but i just can''t see how because you were the best team i''ve heard on the radio so far this season and if you play like this in the return fixture, which i will be at like all home games, then im sure im not going to enjoy the game at all. However, I am hoping this will shake us up and with the return of 3 influential players and possibly 2-3 more signings i think the game will be much more enjoyable than the game at Carrow rd.
 20.
Can someone explain to me how this works? Several clubs seem to be getting emergency loans in this month, how can that be when we''re in the transfer window?
I think clubs that can''t complete the permanent deal in time for them to play for their game the next day they get the player in on an ''emergency loan'' so they can play and then sort the deal out the following day. [:S]
 21.
Did anyone else hear Allen? He made one VERY interesting point. he said the most important attribute for a manager was his ability to bring in the right players, in other words, having the right contacts within the game. Grant clearly didn''t have this but Roeder has....everything else is down to the Board.
How can Allen say that? [:|] He bought some of the worst players we have signed in a very long time and him and his chief scout clearly have no contacts so i don''t understand why he made that comment, unless it was a dig at himself [:^)] which it cleary wasn''t [:S].
 22.

signing on fees i agree with but they havnt spent much on anyone really dj campbell 1.75m, clemence 1m oakley 500k thats there only ones i think, im sure theres few others but only major transfer fees so thats 3.25m which is less than several teams this season
They havent signed a great deal of quality either.  Noone outstanding comes to mind in any of their signings, quite a few journeyman players who are decent at this level.  Having said that they had a very poor side last year.  He is probably right about the player turnaround, look at this lot. Bruno N''Gotty Birmingham Free 04-06-2007 Jimmy Nielsen Aalborg Free 04-06-2007 Carl Cort Wolves Free 08-06-2007 Sergio Hellings Apeldoorn Free 18-06-2007 Radostin Kishishev Charlton Signed 19-06-2007 James Chambers Watford Free 26-06-2007 Jonathan Hayes Reading Signed 04-07-2007 Hossein Kaebi Perspolis Signed 05-07-2007 Shaun Newton West Ham Free 06-07-200 Stephen Clemence Birmingham £ 1000000 13-07-2007 DJ Campbell Birmingham £ 1600000 20-07-2007 Barry Hayles Plymouth Signed 01-01-2008 Steve Howard Leicester Signed 03-01-2008 Matt Oakley Derby £ 500000 11-01-2008 Loans Clive Clarke Sunderland 16-08-2007 26-08-2007 Marton Fulop Sunderland 16-08-2007 30-12-2007 Marco Ferreira Benfica 17-09-2007 17-10-2007 Collins John Fulham 23-10-2007   Steve Howard Derby 01-01-2008 03-01-2008 Laczko Zsolt Olympiakos 04-01-2008 13-01-2008 Ben Alnwick Tottenham 07-01-2008   Gabor Bori MTK Budapest 08-01-2008
Out of the 16 players Allen bought only 1 or 2 of them are good enough to play at this level tbh, Clemence is a quality midfielder but was off form after an injury in November last season but with Oakley he seemed back to his best. The squad was very unbalanced before Ollie came and hes doing his best to sort this out this month. The two Hungarian wingers looked class against Coventry and i believe they will be the deciding factor of either our push up the league or if we struggle to survive the drop. DJ Campbell hasnt gave us anything since joining and has been the worst buy (purely because of the cost not of his quality). Our defence has been solid this season and is the reason we are not miles behind any other team in bottom place. Our summer signing spree was ridiculous even though we did need a new squad to hopefully build a challenge for promotion but the players allen signed were shocking, the risk of signing players such as Kaebi and Hellings didnt pay off and the players like Cort and Newton were just dreadful and them 2 have left by ''mutual consent'' and im hoping atleast 5 more of Allen Signings will leave this month because we currently have 43 players in the 1st team squad! Only Chambers and Clemence are good enough for any CCC club and this is the reason why Allen was sacked by Milan early in the season. Ollie needs to sign players and hopefully they can gel this season and just add a few faces to the squad in the summer for a push for promotion.
 23.
500k of derby, not bad player he isnt, nothing to special but always consistant. half decent fee as well maybe norwich could make move for him? would you like them to? leicester could arguabley have best midfield pairing of oakley and clemence. im sure they will do well together
I agree that we now have a very strong midfield especially with Osbourne coming on loan from Villa and we also have King and Wesolowski as back up. We had one of the worst midfields in the division before January and with the arrivals of the hungarian wingers and Osbourne and Oakley i believe we can push right up this league. [:P]
 24.
Hello there canary fans! We clash again soon and it will be an interesting one, a vital six-pointer at the foot of the table. I have to say i have been very impressed at your turn under Glenn Roeder, at the same time we''ve been a sinking ship [:)] However hopefully our fortunes will change as Holloway will not have to play a midfield consisting of Kenton, N''Gotty, J Chambers - all defenders and a striker in Iain Hume. It would appear he is starting to sort out the mess we were left with after our poor management in the summer regarding our action in the transfer market. He''s bought in Stevie Howard, i''m sure most teams in the Championship would take a player of his pedigree, there are question marks over the signing of Barry Hayles but we''ll see how it goes. Unfortunately we wern''t able to negotiate a deal to make the Marton Fulop loan deal a permanent transfer, he has been outstanding for us and is a very good keeper, but we have acted quick to sign Ben Alnwick from Spurs. Also Ollie has bought in two unknown Hungarian wingers (we''ve forgotten what a winger looks like here[:)]) but if they are as good as Buzsaky, Timar and  Halmosi - two players Holloway signed from nowhere, we''ll be very pleased. As i said Roeder is doing a superb job with you, when linked with us previously, i have to say we were not impressed, however he is proving all the doubters wrong. You''ve made some good signings, in particular the lad Pattison, a player i would have liked to have seen at the Walkers. I don''t expect you to go down, you have decent home form and should finish in mid-table. How do you see the game finishing between us? I see you winning by a two or three goal margin. Where do you see Leicester finishing? Will we avoid relegation? Cheers, here''s to a relegation free season for us both. [<:o)]
I think we (Leicester) will draw against you lot, the score being 1-1, Howard will open his scoring account who i also believe will be our best striker in years and will be set up by one of our Hungarian wingers. I think Leicester will manage to push for mid-table this season and i see greater things ahead under Ollie.  I doubted Roeder''s managerial abilities and was personally glad we didn''t get him as manager at the beginning of the season when we was linked with him (After seeing how things developed under Allen i would of taken Roeder anyday). Now after seeing Norwich''s form drastically improve since Roeder took over and the players he is signing and players you are linked with seem very good for this level and i believe you will survive the drop easily because there are a lot of clubs worse than Leicester and Norwich in this division. I also think Norwich will finish about 14th this season and push for a play off place with us next season.
