To answer the question, a definate no. What ever next, to try and create an artificial atmosphere, someone on a microphone starting a sing song before the game.....................?
Don''t get me started on that....totally makes me cringe along with the mic guy walking off at the end of half-time encouraging Canary fans to cheer their team on for the next 45 minutes......sickeningly patronising to say the least........ think I''ll Tweet Mcnally about that one!!!! -

Bayern game for me too - watched it in a packed lower bar at the Ferryboat on King Street. Went to Arnhem and Milan but couldn''t afford all three!

My seat is on the edge of Block B and Block C and I haven''t sat down for three seasons - and we have a couple of really good Stewards who never hassle us.
There were only 2000 tickets that went on sale to non season ticket holders. Obviously season ticket holders could have bought them for friends etc but I think the majority of the crowd yesterday were season ticket holders. On top of that we 6000 super members who i''m sure snapped up most of the remaining tickets.
Can''t agree with that - there were a very small fraction of fellow season ticket holders around me on Saturday in the Lower Barclay - tried joining in with the songs a few times but most of those around me weren''t interested in following my lead!!!! [:(] -
What an obnoxious bunch of supporters.
Lord Horn replied to Irn Bru Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The only obnoxious supporter I have encountered recently is one that just blocked me on twitter for saying that we need some changes and we''re in a bit of trouble. Talk about delusional, you just sit there and clap our 1-0 defeat against Luton, nothings wrong *SMILES*
I hope you''re not suggesting that anyone clapped our defeat!!! Now that is delusional. What I and many others around me clapped was a team that showed a huge amount of passion and committment, obviously not our team yesterday. And how anyone had the gall to give a Man of the Match Award is beyond belief. -
What baffles me is everyone saying he switched to 442, but we still had two holding midfielder''s!! His reluctance to change this could be our downfall. Other teams have found us out. They can set there midfield higher up the pitch and pin us back.
Think all our players are having to deal with this ''defensive mindset''. When Tettey first appeared on the scene he looked an exciting prospect who could go on runs and have a pop at goal. Where has that gone in the last few games?????

What is it about teams beginning with the letter ''L''??? Liverpool, Leicester and now Luton!! And as for Leeds.......oh, I forgot, we usually beat them.

What an obnoxious bunch of supporters.
Lord Horn replied to Irn Bru Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Interesting observations about their fans. Ignoring the result, thought that their team deserved their applause at the end of the game and readily joined in with that. Coming out of the ground had a chat with a reasonable Luton fan and wished him and his team well. Was in a fairly amiable frame of mind walking back to the car when a couple of ''lads'' starting largeing it with abusive language and trying to get something started. Mildly amusing as most of the people who they were trying to wind up were either older supporters or families. Had my daughter with me who is no starnger to expletives as she sits with me n the Lower Barclay but these ''lads'' were just being totally obnoxious. Just think its a shame for the decent Luton fans as this seems to be the image that Luton has got. Some of my Ebbsfleet United supporting mates were saying simlar things about them when they played them in the league. Hopefully they will draw Leeds United away in the next round and get a good pasting both on and off the pitch! -

Optional £19 Academy Donation
Lord Horn replied to I am a Banana's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If I understand it correctly if you renew before the first deadline 2014/15 prices are frozen as well which means any increase this year including the £19 should be be seen as an increase over two seasons which makes good value. I can''t see any problem in supporting the Academy, I also pay £10 a month for the Academy draw. Those who are considering not supporting the Academy through their season ticket should really not renew and let those on the waiting this take their place as they would gladly pay the extra to support the youngsters. True fans would pay the £19.
True fans don''t slag off other fans! -
