1. I think we''ll retain Ruddy and Bunn...each keeper will know that they have to be at their best to get picked which is excellent pressure to have on them. I keep hearing that Camp will go back to Forest in the summer.  Whether that''s true I doubt we''ll keep him on unless Rudd or Steer goes somewhere. I think either or both of Rudd and Steer to go out on loan next season.  We just need to make sure there''s either a recall agreement or we have an emergency loan keeper lined up should anything happen to Bunn or Ruddy. I doubt Arsenal would be in for Ruddy...just doesn''t seem like a Wenger move.
2. If Ryan has a solcial media policy within his contract and he has breached it then the club are entitled to discipline him.  Anything else is irrevelant IMO
3. I hope he stays.  He''s had some good loan spells to help him get back from that injury. He''ll be raring to go pre-season and I think he''ll make a few waves in the Prem next year!!
4. Yes. Like what I''ve seen of him so far. With a full pre-season with the squad and Hughton, etc. I think he''ll be even better
5. I''d keep Barnett - I rate him and think that he compliments what we already have in Bassong, Turner and Bennnett...and R. Martin Ayala is a more difficult one to call - he looks classy when fit
6. her''s my go: Norwich score early - the long awaited Johnson thunderbolt from 35 yrds.  We spend the rest of the game defending deeper and deeper.  Reading create some good chances.  Le Fondre misses an open goal on 88 mins.  We nervously see it out and win 1-0. I''d be happy enough with 3 points...however we get them...
7. Arguably you could say that Talksport rake in money from advertising, etc and it is their remit to entertain listeners... ...they''re not doing that either...year after year...sometimes it''s like they''re not even trying to entertain, etc
8. Very happy to be in the premiership...it''s the elite division in this country and to have Norwich be part of it is great...of course the chances of winning the league or qualifying for Europe are slim and all that, but the exposure we get and the caliber of players we can attract is fantastic. Whereas in League 1 and the championship we had many highs to enjoy, they''re fewer and further between in the Prem which is why we have to fully enjoy them when we can and ride out the rough times with the belief we will get another Swansea(a) type game, etc. Peaks and troughs....
9. I''m 50/50 on this rumour: It''s a rumour and like other posters have said, it does seem a bit like 2+2=5, based upon Holt moving his family up to Carlisle and that he''s been on the bench for the last few games. However, it''s not so difficult to imagine it happening - Holt would do well for Celtic, I think and it would mark the dawning of a brand new era for Norwich if we were to have Hooper & RVW up front. As an aside, if I were Celtic I''d be considering going for Jackson...much maligned since we joined the Premiership, but I think he''s got what it takes to score plenty in the SPL
10. "Speaking of less-than-lithe strikers, it appears Norwich''s Grant Holt could be on his way to Celtic with Gary Hooper moving in the other direction as part of a swap deal. The Canaries have long been interested in Hooper and made a few attempts to sign him during the last transfer window only to fail and buy Luciano Becchio instead. But Chris Hughton has not given up on his No1 target and will move for him again at the end of this season, this time offering Holt in exchange. The 31-year-old was Norwich''s top scorer last season but has only found the back of the net on five occasions this campaign and not at all since late February."
11. I doubt that what we see of Hughton pitch side and what he says in press conferences gives a full view of what he does as a manager. So, how he inspires or provides leadership is unknown...which means its open to speculation unfortunately
12.
I''m sure Chelsea fans were moaning a lot when they parked the bus against Barca and then Bayern and ended up winning the champions league. I bet all the fans would much rather they went out in the group stages but had played nice football. Ridiculous sentiments. "Attractive" football is purely subjective. Personally, I prefer a master class of defending just as much, if not more, than Lambert style gung-ho attack. Does that mean that Villa "deserve" to go down because they can''t defend? There are loads of different tactics, why is one way better than another? If we get enough points to stay up, I really couldn''t care less how we do so, nor will I ever. Success over ''nice attacking football'' every time for me.
Fully agree with this...eye of the beholder and all that Also agree with your follow up comment ...and if we''re using Talksport as a guide to our football...sheesh!!
13. There''s a lot of speculation on this post and some others about how the players "feel". Your views of players and managers, staff, etc are subjective. You can''t possibly truly know what is going on with player/manager relations, etc. One person''s view of Holt''s appearance could be angry, disenchanted, uncaring...another''s could be enthusiastic and striving to get involved and help the team. We''re all entitled to our opinions and to share our thoughts on here, but why be so surprised and offended if someone else sees exactly the same thing and has a differing opinion?  It''s great to debate it, but often it ceases to be a debate because no one takes on board other views. ...and yes, the view is great from up here on my high horse :)  Of course, I can be as bad as anyone else when I want to passionately defend my viewpoint
14. He comes across as very level headed and realistic: of course we''re going to lose games and he''s right that it''s important we respond well to those set backs.  Equally, we don''t get carried away when we win (or go on unbeaten runs) and nor should we be down in the dumps when we lose.  It''s a tough old slog to stay in the Premiership and I think Hughton fully appreciates that.   But then I also sometimes wonder if CH is actually using an interview technique that will provide decent answers to questions, but reveal very little: e.g. talking about an opponents qualities etc reveals nothing about how he intends to set up his team or how they will play...perhaps it''s a shrewd way of deflecting focus from his team/tactics/etc?  Anyway, I''d much rather have his insight than interviews with Bruce, Redknapp, Allardyce, etc who are the "go to" managers for quotes as they have an opinion on everything and talk a lot of rubbish. Other''s, like Lambert, roll out the same responses to each interview, which is pretty dull too.
15. 3-1 win for Norwich 1st on MotD Goal of the season from BJ everyone''s happy...aren''t they?
16. IMO Believing that we will turn this form around and win between now and the end of the season is no different to believing that games are winnable either before or after the event...personally I hold more faith that we will do well in our remaining home games than declaring away games as winnable and then lamenting that we didn''t win them ...also I don''t think it''s as simplistic as saying that playing 2 up front will enable us to score more goals...otherwise, why not 3 up front?
17.
Who deserves to stay up in our place?   Wigan - Beat us, ergo, better than us so deserve to stay up ahead of us.
Which means we deserve to win the title ahead of Man Utd - woohoo!!
18. If we finish the season in the bottom 3, we deserve to go down that''s the way it works
19.
For me it quite clearly has to come from one of these four:   Bassong / Turner / Johnson / Snodgrass
Agreed...my vote would go to Bassong
20.
Whilst no one wants to see Wes playing out wide, I''m not so convinced that we are being ''found out'' tactically. Despite the assertions that we aren''t playing well, we''ve only lost 1 game in 6, at Old Trafford. We are still a pig to play against. It''s not harem scarem excitement but it is still proving effective. We have not lost a single game against any of the bottom 6. The results show that we''re not doing too badly, especially at home. At the start of the season I''d have definitely taken 6 wins, 6 draws and 3 defeats for our home record at this stage. The defeats being against Chelsea, Citeh and Liverpool. Hughton can''t be doing that badly! My point is that however dull the games have been lately, and some of them have been entertaining, we are picking up points regularly and getting the job done. That is what Hughton is here to do. We''ve beaten Man U, Arsenal, Everton at home and drawn with Spurs. Pretty impressive stuff for a guy who some argue is tactically inept.
Totally agree...
21. I did the bbc predictor thing (which seems a bit dodgy, so the results might not be true): I ended up with us finishing 13th on 40 pts Relegated were: QPR, Reading and Southampton Given that almost every time I attempt to predict a score I get it wrong chances are things won''t quite work out this way
22. For a bit of Friday fun: who do you think the 3 relegated teams will be from the Premiership and who''ll replace them from the Championship? My guess is: Down: QPR, Villa & Reading Up: Cardiff, Palace & Watford
23. I''m hoping we will become more expansive at home - playing 2 up front...and stick to our current methods away...a couple of home wins ought to setlle the nerves
24. maybe some of our younger players will step up and save us the outlay, e.g. Smith, Adeyemi, Murphy twins, Francomb, etc
