Where is First Wizard hiding?
Congo Canary replied to Shaun Tilly Lace's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No mate, still plodding across the mid-Atlantic, and the weather is pants, so could be another 2 weeks before i''m back. Just us and a buffering radio haystack catchup of Canary Call to see what i''m missing. -
Where is First Wizard hiding?

looking forward to 7 weeks leave this time so a chance to get plenty of games in. I may have to visit the Nelson to see this ''Inner Circle'', hope there are no dodgy initiations, or rolled up trouser legs involved.....? -

Every family needs an eccentric old codger, and lets face it he''s one of a couple on here. Generally nothing malicious, but the usual mad rantings of a slightly mad old uncle, and after all, he is from south of the boarder!! The board has changed alot over the last few years, and we need more characters, and not in the mold of Wrathsawordscouldn''tdescribe. Morty, will you be stepping up to the plate to fill ol'' Wizz''s boots in about foomphty years......? -

A lot tougher than we think, 1-0, Martin just before half time.

Like so many of that era, had we of hung on to them for that bit longer could truly developed into one of our greats. Ashley Ward also falls into this category.

''''Could always forget about the Iraq/Afghan wars and 9/11 and hold one for the nearly 7 million people slaughtered in the DRC civil war since 1997... More than world war 2 have died in this war, yet it is never mentioned by Western media....DEFINITELY has NOTHING to do with the fact they are mineral rich in Coltan which is used in Laptops/mp3 players/mobile phones and the war keeps the costs down...'''' Exactly, and how many realise the atrocities are still going on?

Treatment of Certain Players...
Congo Canary replied to Morisons Prozac's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
To be honest, i don''t think there is much difference between this season and the beginning of last. It took Lambert 10 games to find what he thought was his best starting 11. This season we have 7 new players, of a quality thought to be better than what we had last season. surely it stands to reason that Lambert will use players of proven Championship ability first, get points on the board and then make changes if necessary. There is also the fact that very few of us are privy to what goes on the training ground and the attitudes of players. It could very well be that one or another does not show the commitment of another, or that Lambert has explained his reasoning to the players concerned. Human nature being human nature, if your left out with no explanation, in the days of delicate little ego''s that we have in football, this is no good for the players confidence and no good for team spirit. Frozen out no, very quick learning curve to find our best 11, yes. -

Just Congo up to a few years ago when i lost my details, and Congo canary of ever since. Need to change it now, as i spend more time in the US, than Africa but cant think of anything catchy enough
You must have some amazing stories to tell. Maybe you, I, and a few other fans should write a book telling some of them, not necessarily about football, for the Canary Shop to sell.We write enough on this Message Board so writing would not be a difficuly.
I must admit, i do feel lucky to have been to some very strange places, and i seen some amazing sights, but whether its my mind set i dont know, but even in the oddest occasion, it all turns to football. Got me out of a couple of scrapes as well! -

Blackburn lead 1-0 until 90 mins. +1, then Ollie brings it back to 1-1. We win 2-3 in extra time, Crofts and an Askou header.

I don''t know, i quite like the goal music. Opinions seem to be pretty split, but it would deffinately seem strange without it now we''ve had it so long. In saying that, just watched the highlights of the Norwich v Ipshit semi final, and we definitely didn''t need goal music that night!

You think Forest don''t like us? My god look at this lot on Waccoe. Never any love lost i know, and a tad bitter after last season maybe, but hey at touch over the top i think! http://www.waccoe.com/index.php?showtopic=191338&hl=paul+lambert (sorry cant seem to get this link thingie right on Opera)
