If you remember when Hoolahan got injured last season, Lambert kept insisting he was ''in contention'' for the next game from around 8-9 games to go, yet he didn''t re-appear until the final match. If Lambert came out and said both would miss the rest of the season, the morale of fans would take a battering, and other teams would take heart from it. Best to keep everything quiet really.

I think him and Hoolahan are both out for the season, although Lambert/etc are understandably not letting on. I sincerely hope I''m wrong, but just what I think.

It''s all very well acting ''hard'' from behind a fence with massive police protection, but I guarantee the majority of the little Green Street wannabe''s on our side would have got a right good kicking if they''d actually got involved in a fight. I just hope SKY didn''t catch that load of fans after Swansea''s 3rd goal, as it was embarrassing!

Hate to say it, but the way I saw it, it was actually a small minority of Norwich fans who started the trouble after the 3rd goal went in. This then continued and intensified after the game, when Swansea fans retaliated. Tin hat on.

Also going to be controversial and say that''s quite tame. I''m 100% certain there have been much, much worse managers dressing-downs in the changing room. In fact, I think Warnock ends up encouraging them more than anything!

My old P.E. teacher/school football manager was like that (minus the swearing of course!) and he was absolutely brilliant. If he told you to work hard, you''d bloody well work hard. Sometimes giving people a complete dressing down brings the best out of them!

Who''s more increasingly desperate? Us, or the QPR fans who are trying to convince themselves that all is well, and accusing us of being ''increasingly desperate.'' Either way, it doesn''t bother me, because at the very least it means QPR have got to give everything in every game between now and the end of the season. Take some points off Cardiff please.

If we''re in the Championship next year, I wouldn''t bet against either coming in. Much less likely if we''re promoted though I''d have thought.

It''d be highly amusing if we got more fans at Carrow Road than they did at Portman Road...

I know he''s not been anything near a regular, but if we go up, Matt Gill will have won four successive promotions. From the Conference to League Two and from League Two to League One with Exeter. Then from League One to the Championship, and from the Championship to the Premiership. As I said, not a regular for us, but still a superb achievement. Maybe we should keep him on so we get into Europe!

Drury has been here 10 years and one month now. Even if he leaves in the summer, he WILL get a testimonial. Although I agree, it is possible Drury may leave this season if we go up. Personally I''d be eager to keep him around the place, although you''ve got to respect his wishes if he wanted guaranteed first team football at this point in his career.

I like the idea of the post, but can we please stop all these threads about ''if we go up/etc''? There''s a huge way to go yet, and we have all summer to discuss things like this if/when we do actually go up. Sorry if I''m a killjoy!

Good thread, and nice to see some highlights that weren''t featured on the FLS or BBC website. In fact, those highlights emphasised just how well he played - we''ve got a cracking player! Unfortunately it seems certain people have an agenda on here. It''s petty and embarrassing in my eyes, but who am I to judge?

You can''t ask for much more than a hat-trick in 20 minutes (regardless of opposition) surely? I fully expect Jackson to score a crucial goal or two in the run-in now that he''s got some confidence. The goals he scored yesterday could be crucial at the end of the season! Had we only won 3-0, our GD wouldn''t be comfortably ahead of the chasing pack. As it stands, we''re in a healthy position.

Wasn''t getting a game for Colchester last year. Says everything about the difference Lambert and Boothroyd that...

Today was brilliant, but it''s still ''only'' three points. Seven more matches like that and we can get carried away all we want! I''m wary of Cardiff. They have potential to win their last 7 games. Equally, they could go win-less for those seven. On paper they''ve got ''easier'' fixtures, but have a tendency to drop points unexpectedly. Win at Swansea, and it puts them (Swansea) almost out of the top two picture for me.

Against Millwall it was his header (a very good one, in all honesty) from the initial long-ball that found Holt, who then combined with Lansbury for the latter to score. Can''t remember QPR as vividly, but I''m sure he was involved in the build-up as well. He most certainly was at Middlesbrough. And Cardiff, although maybe not fully intentional, he took the marker off Martin and even (if I recall) got a touch from the initial cross. I''ll throw out the fact he won us a corner against Sheffield United out of absolutely nothing which led to Croft''s winner as well. I think the criticism of Wilbraham was way over the top. He did what was asked of him, and for what he allegedly paid, we can''t complain. Personally I feel sorry for him, as now it''s probable that promotion would end his Norwich career, and he''ll be forgotten by supporters. For me, if we go up, Wilbraham deserves the recognition he has yet to receive from most quarters. Not a goalscorer indeed, but he did his role for the team admirably. Better strike-rate than Chris Martin as well, not that it matters!

Completely ignoring that he played a part in crucial goals against Middlesbrough, QPR, Cardiff and Millwall of course...

How did Gunn get Martin playing well? Martin has one competitive league game under Gunn, and that was against Colchester. He, like most players, was atrocious that day. Lambert got Martin playing well, not Gunn.

I think they''ll get at least 12 points from the 7 matches that don''t include us. As for our match, it''s quite possible that the ''winner takes all''.

As far as I''m concerned, Jackson played well against Bristol City - albeit without the clinical edge that would have got him a goal or two. He got involved in the play (setting up Hoolahan brilliantly for our penalty) and looked dangerous when he dragged players wide. Against Hull, he looked very lively as well, with an excellent turn-and-shot almost nicking us the three points - but for an excellent save. Lambert''s no mug. He knows dropping Jackson from the squad now would destroy his confidence completely. I think he''ll be sensible enough to give Jackson a final chance to really impress from the start, with Vokes/Pacheco waiting in the wings against Scunthorpe. I''d also expect us to revert to a more 4-5-1 against Swansea, regardless of how Jackson or others do.

I think Jackson will start against Scunthorpe personally...
