Any news? Only Edwards looked shaky in comparison, and Zak has been immense. We need him back badly. Also, if he''s out long-term and we end up in the play-off''s, we''re in trouble as Edwards'' loan expires after the Semi''s...

QPR will lose to Watford in my opinion. If ourselves and Cardiff both win our penultimate game, then QPR will be under HUGE pressure for their last game. Against Leeds. I''d fancy Leeds to get something there as well, and possibly all three points. I think they''ll edge the title (ignoring a possible points deduction) but it will still go down to the last match.

Enjoy your push for the play-offs :)

Also, these fixtures have been in the calendar for months and months. Why do they suddenly take issue with it now? If they felt that it was wrong, they had plenty of time to make their concerns public to the necessary people. As they - or no-one else for that matter did - then that''s their problem. I don''t see Swansea bleating about Ipswich either... It screams of cracking under pressure. We, however, will keep calm and carry on, making no excuses.

What about Preston? Faced a relatively lengthy journey down to Millwall for a late kick-off on the Saturday, while Cardiff were at home a whole 6 hours earlier? Does not that seem something of a direct advantage to them over Preston? Not our fault we played Thursday. Blame Ipswich''s decision to sign Jimmy Bullard rather than pay police over-time. Shame, as we could have won 6-0 on a Friday but hey ho!

The most annoying Championship manager?
CanaryJames replied to Canary1902's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Plenty of contenders, Davies would be up there, as would a few others. However, I''d nominate Brian McDermott for having the sheer audacity to moan about ''not getting any luck'' or ''decisions'' in recent matches - the game after the Reading travesty. Blinkered much. -
That''s obviously potentially good news, but I think Portsmouth will be a very tough match. However, it is absolutely imperative everyone focusses on Derby. As far as I''m concerned, for now, that''s the only match we have on our calendar. Nothing less than 3 points will do.

I can see them nicking it now. They''ve taken control of the game. That said, I can also see Cardiff scoring on the break! COME ON RANGERS!
-
To be fair, Dan Walker is a very good presenter, and seemed to genuinely forget! He apologised on his twitter immediately!
-
Slightly OT (the commentary is dire for the record) but Korey Smith appeared to have his arm in a cast? Any idea what''s happened there?
-
Well, look at it this way. If he does indeed have a blinder, his crocked knees will no doubt ensure he can''t then play on Monday against a Preston side who I fancy will turn them over - or at least get a point.

Our guaranteed position

QPR beat Cardiff 1-0 tomorrow, then precede to get hammered every week. We win 4-0, 2-0, 4-0 and the title is ours. Easy! ;) -
His fight and desire for our last goal was incredible, especially when you take into account that he almost certainly knew he was leaving. Hopefully we''ll be ok as you''ve said, so good luck to him!

Gone back to Wolves.

They''ll probably try and put Radio Norfolk on for you. Only issue is that it tends to be a second or two ahead, so will probably end up turning it off anyway. It''s on 5Live as well I think? So if you''re that desperate, and they''ve not put it on, maybe ask someone?

City fans in with the scum...
CanaryJames replied to yellow blood's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
To be fair Morty, their press team probably assumed someone had stuck an extra 0 on by mistake and tried to fix it! -
Burnley will win on the last day of the season, Leeds will lose, we will go up, Leeds will be 7th, everyone will be happy. Except Leeds. And Cardiff.

**Ipswich V Norwich** Score Prediction??
CanaryJames replied to DOGGER's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Ipswich 1-4 Norwich Holt hat-trick (including a penalty, which sees Delaney sent off) and Hoolahan. -
Players to get if we do go up...
CanaryJames replied to Carlos Valderrama's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Shane Long, David Nugent & Neil Kilkenny are all out of contract this summer. All three would add to our squad in my opinion, although can''t comment on their personalities/etc which have proven to be key to Lambert. -
Portman Pacheco please

I wouldn''t change it. Jackson has earned his place in the side, and doesn''t deserve to be dropped. -

Reading bizarrely got a bit of a battering by Leicester it seems. On that showing, I can see them getting beaten next week. Alternatively, their luck may hold again! Either way, we have to win - simple as that. -
Cardiff, Swansea, Reading, Leeds Watch
CanaryJames replied to I am a Banana's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Presuming Swansea lose, it''s a three-horse race for second in my eyes. It''s going to be pretty unbearable to be honest. It will go down to the last minute of the last game, somehow! -
Norwich v.s. Forest Predictions

Norwich 4-1 Forest Jackson hat-trick, after Russell Martin has brought us level. -
Your starting 11 for tonight please....

Hard to pick a team without knowing the availabilty of Holt/Hoolahan, as obviously they''d be involved in some capacity if fit. Still, I''ll assume Hoolahan''s ready, and Holt isn''t. GK - Ruddy DR - Martin DL - Tierney DC - Ward DC - Whitbread MR - Crofts ML - Lappin DM - Fox AM - Hoolahan S - Vokes S - Jackson McNamee, Lansbury & Pacheco to all come on if we need a goal. Or Holt of course if he''s on the bench!
