  1. Odd. I swear that QPR v Leeds had been penned in weeks ago. Apologies! It should be us and Cardiff then, unless they decide to show QPR''s title celebrations?* *or desperate battle for 6th place with Leeds after being hit with a points deduction...
  2. QPR v Leeds has long been booked into the SKY schedules I think? The BBC will take one other, and with all relegation/play-off''s all but sorted, it''ll be between us and Cardiff. If Burnley had won today, I''d have said they''d have shown that match. However, they''ll probably go with whoever''s second after Monday, although us being at home may swing it?
  3. It would set it up perfectly for next week if that happened! Leeds turn over QPR to give us a chance of the title if we beat Portsmouth. However, Forest winning 5-0 at Palace stops Leeds making the play-off''s anyway, and Palace are relegated after Sheffield United beat Swansea away in the final game (having taken 3 points today to give themselves a chance of survival, with Swansea fielding a weakened side after dropping points today). Burnley will also be in the mix for the play-off''s, and will thus beat Cardiff, but will again miss out due to Forest winning. Alternatively, we could just win our games and ''see where it takes us''...
  4. If QPR lose today, they''ll get turned over by Leeds, so hope Watford win. I''d like Swansea to drop points today as well. Scunthorpe getting a point at Forest would be handy as well. Oh and Sheffield United winning, with Palace/Doncaster losing... Apart from that couldn''t care less...
  5. No keeper on the bench. Could get very tasty if Cerny gets sent off...
  6. Just got to hope Millwall and Swansea draw, Scunthorpe get at least a point out of Forest, and Watford win now! Although the simplest way is to just do it ourselves...
  7. Burnley win - fantastic, as it means Cardiff will have a tough last day. Leeds win - ok as long as QPR lose today, as they''ll be gunning for the three points, which could see us finish above QPR! Draw - disaster. Both teams finished. In summary, we desperately need Burnley to win! If they don''t though, a Leeds win would be miles better than a draw! Come on Burnley anyway!
  8. Sorry Alex, what I meant was until they get the points to be crowned Champions, then I firmly believe we can win the league with or without them being docked points. I think they''ll lose enough points to take us up as Champions.
  9. If QPR are deducted so much as 3 points (which they surely have to be, if charges are proven) we will win the league.
  10. They''ll have to get the title before they''re stripped of it...
  11. Whitbread not good enough? Sorry, but 99% of the time he oozes class! Admittedly, he wasn''t at his best on Monday, but he was outstanding against Forest and Ipswich I thought. It''s incredible how well he''s done this season considering he''s played nearly week-in, week-out since returning from a year on the sidelines as well. If he''d been fit all season, he''d be right up there in the POTY stakes.
  12. I find looking at the table to be all that''s needed right now.
  13. If they draw, we have to draw (at least). If we''re level with a few minutes to go, then of course ''go for the win'', but don''t do what we did against Derby and chuck people like Elliot Ward forward. If they win, we have to win. Simple as that. If they lose, we should go all-out for the win.
  14. If Cardiff lose by one goal, what''s the point playing for a point? As the only instance in this case (i.e. Cardiff losing) were a singular extra point would benefit us, would be if we drew our final match as well, and they won. If that happened, they''d almost certainly move above us on GD, having been level on points. If Cardiff lose, it gives us license to go ''full throttle'' for the win from minute one in my opinion. A draw for us would (again, in that case) have as much benefit to us as 0 points.
  15. Sorry, first and second I mean.
  16. Didn''t have his best game, yet still played a huge part in the first and third goal. That for me sums him up. Even when he''s not completely ''on it'', he''s still able to play a big role in us winning. He did look pretty tired though. 180 more minutes and he can have a nice long holiday!
  17. I love it personally. It shows that he is seeing us a threat, and thus represents a lack of confidence in his own players to get a job completed - something which should have been done weeks ago. A Middlesbrough, Watford and Norwich win this coming weekend please. Then we can win the title.
  18. Earnshaw. I thought it was a well-known fact!
  19. Middlesbrough have only lost once in their last 10 actually. Didn''t realise they were on that much of a ''good'' run!
  20. It will be a tough game, but winnable. I''m liking how Middlesbrough are finding some kind of form right now as well. I''d be delighted if they got so much as a point off Cardiff, as that should be a home banker truthfully.
  21. Is it fair you are ruled by the Welsh FA? Goodbye.
  22. Ah good, hopefully not too serious then! Thanks! Farcical attempt at a substitution by the worst referee in a while incidentally...
