1. Great stream and perfectly synced with chris goreham at the ketts. Many thanks, I would certainly recommend it to anyone who cant get to a game.
2. are you boys playing on legendary? only way to play it IMO. I found it incredibly frustrating at first and got fired twice without 1 point. I even got knocked out of a cup by Ipswich, losing 6-0, which ruined my evening. However, I am now in my third attempt and you definately start to get used to the feel of the game and it pays off! Just hold x (ps3) to jockey and the majority of the time you will shut the opposition strikers out, and use the tackle O button sparingly. I am now only losing 1-0 and have got a couple of points on the board. What a game though, I think its the most realistic one yet, and so rewarding when Holt and Vaughan start banging the goals in! The only thing I cant handle yet is when
3. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2236185,00.html Game on.
4.

Just got back from one of the dullest and most frustrating games of football I''ve been to so far. I''ll start off with Glenn Roeder - 1 out of 10. Absolutely ridiculous tactical decisions; Ryan Bertrand has often said he prefers to play at left back instead of left mid; why he was playing there instead of Wes Hoolahan, who after all the effort and fighting off other clubs to get his signature was only bought on for the last 10+ minutes is a mystery. Furthermore, when Hooly did come on Roeder put him on the right wing when we know he has no right foot. . He should have started with hoolahan on the right wing with Bertrand at LB, Sibierski upfront with another striker. If Roeder behaves like this for any more of the season we will lose points - we couldve EASILY beaten Barnsley today if we''d have put out of more structured team, however we didnt and I actually feel sorry for them as they deserved to take 3 points from us.
Bit of a contradiction on Hoolahan there cheshire - slag Glenn off for playing him on the right but you would''ve played him there too?????Muppet
Apologies - I meant to say Hoolahan shoulve started on the LEFT WING.
5. He put Russel upfront with Sibierski instead of Cureton or Koroma, (Lupoli wasnt even on the bench) - neither of these forwards did ANYthing. Lots of players were out of their preferred positions and it was obvious this was not working after half an hour, however Roeder is too stubborn to make the changes early on. David Marshall - 10 out of 10, without him in net we would have conceded loads more goals than we have, he is solid and commanding with good distribution, and of course he saved the penalty. Jon Otsemobor - 6 out of 10, some good defending but poor passing, very uninspiring. Dejan Stefanovic - 8 out of 10, this guy has been brilliant at the back at the 3 games ive seen this season, Coventry Plymouth and Barnsley. He is a major improvement to our squad and I think Id feel safer if it was just him at the back than Shackell and the Doc put together. Omosuzi - 4 out of 10 - Looked like he didnt really want to be there, played some uncomfortable, badly thought out balls and put Marshall under unnecessary pressure. Jonathon Grounds - 5 out of 10 - Actually did quite well playing at left back, cleared the ball nicely, hoofed it a bit too much though and lacked motivation. Croft - 6 out of 10. The only person that showed any promise today, although he played classic Croft style and ran up the wings with no final ball. Fotheringham - 3 out of 10, This guy is the worst captain of a Norwich side I''ve seen - he really didnt look like he gave a **** about the game and his passing/defending/attacking play was rubbish. In my opinion he has a responsiblity to get the midfield stuck in and involved in the game - he failed to do that. Pattison - 5 out of 10, Some okay passing, some rubbish passing, no pace, no effect on the game, a very average player. Bertrand - 5 out of 10 but this guy is just not meant to play on the wing, he''s not a particularly good crosser of the ball, so its unfair to judge him just because Roeder has gone mental insisting on playing him instead of one of the Championships best wingers in Hoolahan. Sibierski - 2 out of 10. This guy did nothing all game, he shouldve been substituted. Looked like he really didnt care. He''s a typical French Premiership football - he has all the money in the world, a fit wife, he doesnt really seem to care about what happens in the game. We''ve been going on about having a target man the whole start of the season, but the balance has swung too far for me; that promising midfield passing play we saw at the start of the season has faded since this tosser''s arrival. Russel - 3 out of 10. He is clearly still in pain after his operation and why roeder is insisting he is playing so soon is a mystery. Looked off the pace. Cureton - 2 out of 10. A stupid substitution, he had no effect on the game whatsoever and he just looks past it. I would rather have seen Koroma come on based on what I saw of him at Cov; I know its not much to go by but he looked impressive in the warm up. Hoolahan - 4 out of 10 - The guy has no right foot and consequently his passing from the right wing was off, he showed promise but his confidence just seems to have been knocked by Roeder''s crap man management. The Black Kit - 0 out 10, This should be reserved for the occasions where the opposition kit clashes with our yellow and green, which can only be Watford this season. The players all looked unmotivated and passed the ball poorly today, whether or not the black kit has anything to do with is I dont know. Overall, an uninspiring performance, not helped by Roeders stupid tactical decisions.
6. We should play Russell upfront standard until this new guy comes in, I can see us getting a winner here! ON THE BALL CITY
7. I don''t understand why everyone who went to the Cov game said he didnt respond to our singing. He quite clearly gave a clap as he went up and down the line, it was quite timid but perhaps he was nervous about how we''d react. Whatever, he''s a Coventry player now, what does it matter. The general concensus about this weekend is this - the people that went to the game, like me, all agree that Norwich City looked like a completely different team to last season, and were genuinely unlucky to lose the game. Thats football, the best team dont always win, we made Coventry look shit. IMO, Glenn Roeder is the best thing that couldve happened to us for the last few seasons, and I have a VERY good feeling about this season based on what I saw at the Ricoh.
8. As much as the quality on the pitch, the attitude of the players contributed to the encouraging performance IMO. Glenn had obviously got them hyped up and CONFIDENT that they could deliver results, thats why we saw such free flowing, assertive football today. Lets hope this unlucky defeat hasnt knocked the teams confidence.
9.

Shackell is not a right back, he did well to step up to the challenge but his lack of pace and attacking ideas showed - for me this was summed up by a very poor attempt at an overhead kick in the Coventry box when he had time and space to get the ball down and play it back in.
Good job he didn''t play there then [;)]
My mistake, i meant LB. As for the Coventry attack, it looked uninspiring to say the least, from what I saw today I would actually be more concerned if I was a Coventry fan; they looked slow, lacked ideas and were their passes were frequently cut out by our midfield and defence. They were lucky really.
10. Just got back from the game also Ratings Marshall - 6/10 Im afraid, from what I could see he was well out of position for the second goal. Stefanovic - 8/10 Fantastic looking defender, really solid, calm and commanding at the back. He worked really well with Kennedy and although there were a couple of dodgy decisions between the pair this can be expected with such a new team. Kennedy - 8/10 Again really solid and calm at the back. Neither of Stefanovic or Kennedy hoofed the ball unnecessarily but played it to the midfield with intelligent passing - i''d say this is the aspect that impressed me most about the team today and is such a relief from the Doherty/Shackell hoofing that has plagued us for so many seasons. Omozusi - 8/10 Great player, very solid at right back, fast as well. Will be exciting watching the competition between him and otsemobor Shackell - 6/10 Shackell is not a right back, he did well to step up to the challenge but his lack of pace and attacking ideas showed - for me this was summed up by a very poor attempt at an overhead kick in the Coventry box when he had time and space to get the ball down and play it back in. Fotheringham - 6/10 Didnt produce anything spectacular today and I saw more of a captain in Kennedy than him - he went ape at the referee for one of his challenges and got himself yellow carded unnecessarily Clingan - 6.5/10 Did the simple things well, hard to make a judgement - made some intelligent link up play Croft - 5/10 Poor performance IMO, in classic Croft style would run up and down the wings and get tackled or blocked before managing to cross the ball - had a breakthrough on goal in the 2nd half to set Lupoli/Cureton up but scuffed it wastefully off the pitch Hoolahan - 8.5/10 A truly talented player, was a delight to watch! Although a bit rusty in places, he played some very sweet balls and he seems to hold the ball at his feet incredibly well. I am thrilled that he is playing in Yellow and Green this year - an inspiration. Cureton - 6/10 Uninspiring, not good enough for us upfront anymore Im afraid. Although their defence was very good, he just failed to get decent touches or any shots in at all. Never going to win anything in the air either. Lupoli - 6/10 Id have to disagree with the OP, I will need more convincing about this guy, pace wasnt all that great and was easily dealt with by the defence. Koroma - 7.5/10 Again disagreeing with the OP, this guy looked quite hot acutally - excellent movement around the box for someone so young, he got into great positions and he was unlucky not to score - I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, it was like watching a different team playing today and I dont think ive ever come away from a 2-0 defeat so full of optimism!! As Coleman said, Coventry did not deserve to win the game as we completely dominated the midfield and fought them off well at the back - its a shame about the penalty really because up till then they had hardly troubled Marshall at all. By adding a targetman and having Bertrand back at Left back and this Norwich team, for the first time in years, has the potential to really go places. Unlucky today boys, deserved better!! OTBC
11. There was an absolute stunner at Hull away last season :D
12. ofcourse!! Im full of excitement for todays game, complete contrast to this time last year when Peter Grant took a team of uninspiring dross to Preston.. COME ON YOU CANARIES!!! I always love singing ''your grounds too big for you'' at the Ricoh as well :D
13. the norwich fans completely outvoiced the home side, we didnt hear a peep from them all game.. my ratings, Marshall - 8 (thought he couldve done more with their goal) Otsemobor - 8 (great runs up the right) Doherty - 7 (solid towards the end but looked shakey first half) Shackell - 7 (ditto) Camara - 6 (ditto, made a couple of alarming mistakes 1st half) Croft - 9 (superb running and effort, good crossing) Bertrand - 6 (looked a bit naive and inexperienced on the ball, but some promising vision and pace) Fotheringham - 9 (fantastic commanding of midfield and great passing) Russell - 8 (great effort and determination, passing a touch off though) Evans - 8 (made some great runs and got into great positions, awesome goal) Dublin - 8 (fantastic player esp 2nd half, very creative in the final third) subs- cureton - 6 didnt have the same presence as evans huckerby - 8 really caused problems for their left back jarvis - 6 cant really make a comment, was only on a couple of minutes overall a fantastic day out, best away day for a long time! Especially liked it when Glenn gave us all a wave from the stands when we asked, Delia was also at the game!
14. I was at the Stoke match this weekend, It is very clear he is the weak link in a Norwich side whichever position he plays. Taylor is faster, stronger, reads the game better, and most importantly doesnt panic/make stupid errors when under pressure. His distribution is better as well, whenever the ball approached doherty at the weekend everyone knew exactly what was going to happen - either a h00f or the oppositon player beating him to the ball. If taylors loan cant be extended, then hes a good example of the kind of person we need to bring in to fil the CB position.
