1. Bump! I watched the feature on the family and was shocked. I have an 18 month little boy and to think that those twins were about 3 when they discovered their illness means that at the point I''m at now, they thought their lives would be as simple (as simple as it gets!!) as I expect mine to be. I, and I would assume this goes for most people, have never heard of this illness before and it sounds like the charity is doing a fantastic job for those three lads. Unfortunately it''s all about quality of the life they have remaining now which is so so sad. I can''t imagine being put in that position.

3.
The likes of Wes, Crook, Ruel Fox, his brother David, Damien Francis and Neil Adams contend for a midfield berth, but who else am I missing?
Quality!!!
4. Ahh, maybe I was a bit hasty. I bow to your spot the difference superiority!
5. Come on guys. If you can''t tell the difference between the two incidents then I don''t think football is your game. It is quite clear that Ramires ran into the right side of the penalty box and the West Brom player was on the left. Also it was up the other end of the pitch!! In all seriousness though, that is exactly what I thought. The only thing I can think of is that due to the ridiculous camoflague GK top of Everton''s the ref didn''t see the keeper commit the offence. Therefore the West Brom player should have been booked for diving! I bet Vilas Boas isn''t taking this one to the FA with him is he??!!
6.

If I were the head of the Scottish FA I would turn their 4 leagues into two leagues of twenty. No better way to raise attendances at smaller clubs than to give them a home game against Celtic, and a home game against Rangers, every year.
i agree with this, i also think longer term it would make Scottish football more competitive. i''d ensure the champions league was for CHAMPIONS ergo people who win something the league, the FA cup and the league cup.... if you finish 2nd you are not a champion... ergo you dont enter the champions league. I''d bring the NFL salary cap format into football, Nasri at Wigan, Lampard at stoke, Rooney at Norwich... All would become possibilities... there would be harsh punishments for those that break the cap in big fines, a reduced cap for that team for the following season or a transfer ban... I have gone on about this before on here. the last thing i would do would be to allow shared TV rights for games. no sky monopoly etc. Games are decided by an outside panel and allocated to channels accordingly.
This is the point I was going to post. Why do 2nd and 3rd place in the PL get automatic entry to the CL? The name Champions league is for teams that have won something. Not Arsenal who''ve not won any trophy for 6 years or whatever it is. This would then also increase the status of the Carlig cup and stop claubs playing their reserves in it.
7. It''s interesting that Lambert had the tactical nouse to make 6 changes for the Stoke game because he felt the team which played against Wigan had a lesser chance of sucess. This suggests many changes of personell and formation throughout the season to me, yet the op wants to talk about the strongest 11. I think the answer is "it depends on who were playing".   Here''s a question though. Had we lost on Sunday after making 6 changes, would the Premier League have fined us for fielding a weakend team?.....
8. I''ve thought for a long time that certain incidents deserve this punishment. Remember the Pompey away game last season. Jackson turned Mokeoner (sp.) inside out on the halfway line. Mokeoner, knowing there was no chance of him catching Simeon just chopped him down. Not a red card offence but worth more than a yellow in my book. If for the sheer frustration it causes if nothing else. I think they should be used as a half way house so you''d only sit in there once in a game cos it''ll be worth more than a yellow in theory.
9. I suppose this supporter considers the excitement of a promotion push beneth him/her? http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun/cs/forums/2387888/ShowPost.aspx Never mind the fact that they must have a perfectly reasonable excuse? Who are you to question who can afford to spend £15 to watch a game which has no importance when some of us have already spent nearly £400.
10. I''m glad to see so many posts supporting Ward and so many positive opinons. I do get the op''s point as Ward does seem to make a few errors during a game but who doesn''t. He is possibly one of the best footballing centre backs I''ve ever seen in the yellow and green. I was really impressed when he was unveiled as our first signing of the summer and lets face it. As impressive as Askou was last season he showed he is nowhere near Ward''s level. The lack of reserve games doesn''t come into it either. Ward and Barnett are the best pariring we''ve had for a long time and as much as I personally think think we need to sign another striker, I''d be more than happy if the only play we signed in January, even if only another loan, is Barnett.   Let''s hope they both stay fit.
11. Come on. Holt was not as bad as you are all making out. 1st half he was his usual self, runing around, chasing back but as Martin was also drifting we had no central striker. Lambert obviously told Hold to stay central for the second half which is why it looked like he wasn''t doing anything.
12. Get over yourselves. I sit in the N&P and there are a lot of people who like to sing and shout. And yes there are a lot of, shall we say, experienced fans in there too who prefer not to shout but take in the game. This doesn''t make them less passionate or their support less loyal. You lot in the Barclay and the Snake pit provide most of the Atmosphere but that doesn''t mean you can take petty snipes at the rest of the supporters.
13. I think you''ll find it''s Carnival de Paris by Dario G.
14. Straight from the managers mouth. I can''t believe Doherty escaped the gay roumor mill if he has been carrying like this: He was knocking out one after the other where you felt safe with him.   There is a time and a place for that Doc!!!
