1. Spurs, Arsenal Swansea and Hull all picked for 3 live games. Yet we nor palace are given one?!. Not exactly fair is it. Especially for those fans that live a long way from Norwich and are shelling out £30 a month for Sky Sports
2. 2011/12 Yakubu - 17 goals - £1.5million Ba - 16 goals - Free Transfer Graham - 12 goals - £3.5 Million 2010/11 Odemwingie - 15 goals - Less than £5 million DJ Campbell - 13 goals - £1.25 million That''s five players in the last two seasons that have been signed for cheap and gone on to score around the 15 goal market. The suggestion that we need to pay £10 million to find a striker that can score 15 goals is ludicrous
3. Saw him outside Loftus road after the Q.P.R game a couple of weeks back yellow and green scarf and all. My dad chatted to him for a couple of minutes. Agree with most on here feeling that all politicians are the same whichever party they associate with but I just see it as labour being the best of a very bad bunch and at least Balls is prepared to openly show his support for a team when most politicians will try anything to appeal to one and all and become more ''electable''.
4.

Unless I''ve missed something this board all seems pretty occupied with our offensive line, which is well and good and I must admit I am more then satisfied with our signings, I can help but think we really should be investing heavily in the defense. It''s all well and good scoring goals but if you can''t defend then your going to concede goals against the most clinical strikers in the world (Blackpool a pefect example of this). If we have a look especially at the CB''s we have it doesn''t make for good reading. Elliot Ward and Barnett both have minor prem experience and were discarded by West Ham and West Brom. I especially worry about Barnett and his lack of pace and can see him struggling. Behind them who do we have Whitbread with no prem experience and with less then a full season of games in the yellow and green shirt. I do feel we should be looking at bringing in two CB''s maybe they don''t both have to be big money prem signing but atleast one should be around the level of a Dann or Roger Johnson or an Upson? Fans need to get over this fear of signing big name signings because their not ''hungry''. Inevitably it''s going to be experience and natural talent that keep us up not hunger.
Pile of ill thought out nonsense. Mind you anyone who talks of an ''offensive line'' must imagine football is some sort of regimented choreographed idiocy as played on the other side of the pond. Amy anyone who talks of ''Barnett and his lack of pace'' appears not to have a clue.Perhaps this person could explain why Ward and Barnett will not be up to it because they were ''discarded'' yet by that measure any ''expereinced'' player we sign has also been discarded.Or why he or she had to conjure up some imaginary ''fear'' - one that has us having a ''fear of signing big name signings''. Always a good tactic. Make up something then reply to that rather what is true. The point about hungry players is not as suggested, an either one or the other choice. Of course the incoming players will have to have the ability/skill etc but out of those, my understanding is that within that group it will be those that show the potential drive and hunger that will be brought aboard. And when it''s defenders that are signed, known about or simply speculated about then I''m sure fans will be talking about them and I''m sure those players will be up to the task, big name or notPerhaps the OP could drop a line to Lambert as he/she could be right, and maybe it hasn''t occured to Lambert or anyone at the club that "if you can''t defend then your going to concede goals against the most clinical strikers in the world" - we would look silly if they didn''t find this out until Xmas or later.
I understand what your saying City1st and perhaps my argument didn''t portray itself in the intended maner. Perhaps ''fear'' of big name signings was the wrong phrase when simply all I meant was that I have seen signings mooted on this message board only for them to be ignored due to a lack of supposed ''hunger'' when said player is clearly and experienced player. Furthermore it seems that I was suggesting that Lambert didn''t understand we need defenders and he wasn''t looking for any. This was not what I was trying to confer as I have no doubt he will ultimately deliver some quality defensive signings and imagine he is spending as much time scouting defenders as he is any other part of the pitch (In Lambert We Trust) Instead my point was aimed at this board as I felt people were concentrating solely on the strikers and midfielders we were signing and being linked with and I saw very little conversation on the defensive part of our team and who we should be aiming to sign.
5. I did forget to say Barnett is undoubtedly still our best defender, I wouldn''t be worried about him starting again next season, but compared to some of the players he''s going to be facing I would definitely like to see the position strengthened. Also must agree with the point made about Dann and Johnson not having any prem experience. Dann went from league 1 to Premiership in 3 seasons so it undoubtedly can be done. Richie De Laet would be an ideal signing for me. Reasonably cheap young and can play across the back four. That along with a marquee defensive signing would be absolutely perfect. Perhaps someone from the continent?

7. ☆alysha☆ may I ask where you got your picture of Lambert/Jesus from? Did you make it? I''d very much like to have it as a wallpaper but can''t find it anywhere.
8. I will miss being able to watch highlights whenever I want though. But as some of you have already said I cannot wait for the opportunity to stream the majority of games, hopefully giving me a chance to see most of the away games we play.
9. Just wondering if anyone has an idea of how many games we''ll receive next season on Sky and ESPN? Seeing as we''ve had 6 this season which is suprisingly high. Havn''t got an idea of whether it would increase next season of course. OTBC!
10. For me this week it''s got to be Germany and the Bundesliga. The giants Bayern Munich joint top of the league take on lowly Nurnberg who are second from bottom. Nurnburg v Bayern Munich Away Win is my pick. Good Luck everyone all the best, good luck pete.
11. Evening all good luck P''boro Canary and all the other PuPs this week. For me it''s got to be La Liga and Xerez v Real Madrid Away Win. Its the standout for me this week The new galaticos chasing barcelona in second while Xerez are stuck rock bottom of the league.
12. Not sure whether I can contribute to this. New to it and all so just ignore mine if I have to register or wait till next season. But if its ok for me to give my PuP here goes I''m going for PSV v Ado Den Haag Home Win. Best of Luck.
13. What''s it actually like is it that bad or is it just the same as other away games. I''ve heard a few bad stories about traveling but I think their mostly abit of bull and exageration. Would you feel safe wearing your shirt around the stadium? just wondering planning on making the trip as I live near but might wait for the brighton game as I can get home tickets there. Any views would be much appreciated
14.
On ITV now.Looking much healthier. Good on you John[Y]
Yes he does look much healthier now and alot skinnier looks like he''s lost a good stone or two but I guess that would be expected with all the chemo. Hadn''t realised how serious his was and that it had spread to his lungs and brain glad to see him on the recovery.
15. anyone know anywhere I can find highlights of the Norwich- Brighton game if there is any? Thanks in advance
16. What was that fact one of the commentators spurned out today something about last time Norwich won and FA Cup game Andy Townsend was in the team but that can''t be right anyone else here this? or could clear it up
17. Anyone else like to see Micky in between the sticks against Paulton? Surely there''s no better time to try him if we are ever going to again. If not what''s point of having him around might aswell send him home. A chance for him to prove himself against not exactly testing opponents? Anyone agree of am I out of my mind?
18. Ah ofcourse I forgot about Earnshaw a class act was a shame about the release clause I guess both him and us regret him leaving in the long term.
19. Was considering early today about how Grant Holt must be regarded as one of the best strikers in this league. This got me thinking of when was the last time we had a really good striker for the league we were in that we acually owned. It can''t surely be Deano that was what 4 seasons ago now. What seems to be our knack or making poor/ buying poor strikers and do people think Holt is a change from that?
20. I personally would like to second that. I thought he was a dam site better then anything we''ve seen of him last season.
21. One interesting thing how come Ipswich managed to spend 400k less than us last season but still has the same amount of transactions? It must be the pay-offs on the players and manager we''ve let go. 400k that atleast a good player for league 1
22. Cheers Wes Hoolahanraha-hanrahan jsut needed the list for my dad. He doesn''t keep up with all the in''s and out''s of carrow road but he was asking me who we signed so I was looking for a list. He seemed pretty happy with the signings
23. Does anyone have a list of our current transfers in including fee (if any) and the club they were signed from. Thanks in advance
