Comments such as those made by another of Labours idiots, Diane Abbott, yesterday, do nothing to help the issue of racism.
Not sure what Abbott has to do with tonights incident, clutching at straws much?

Put it this way, I feel more confident in these 4 players than I do with all of Worthy''s signings last time we went up!

Soccernomics and Norwich city
Red Canary replied to Red Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Thats a really good point, our financial value is probably about the same as our league position average in the grand scheme. -
I was reading the amazing book by Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski about how mathematical data (win/loss/draw percentages) on teams can predict there results in the future, mostly explaining England’s failure to win a world cup and why different teams do so well and so poorly. I was intrigued how this could apply to Norwich and perhaps tell us where the club was heading. What I calculated was that Norwich have a win percentage of 35.36% for league games since 1902 till the present day. They have also drawn 27.4% of games. This gives us an average points total of 61 a season (in the modern format...). That gives Norwich an average finish of 12th in the championship over the last 10 years. Do people agree that this position accurately identifies our club in the grand scheme of the 92? And can we improve in the future or are we destined to be there or there abouts for the next 10 years? @font-face { font-family: "Times New Roman"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }table.MsoNormalTable { font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; }

So there was a pitch invasion...

This is the real reason why this club is in the mess its in! Fans just seem to listen to the club and take it like mindless zombies. When people started to boo the people on the pitch it became clear to me what the problems been with this club...the fans have no backbone! At any club with self respecting fans they would take it upon themselves to protest the problems they see in something they invest a lot of time and money in, board, manger, etc. We have sat idly by as the board has twiddled its thumbs as we have sank deeper into the abyss of the football league. What was all this talk last season about protests and boycotts...nothing happened. The fans today turned up watched some dull football and did exactly what the club told them, like we are 6 year olds. I have followed this team around the country, I’m a passionate fan and I want to celebrate a long season well fought. Just feels like us passionate fans who want to enjoy a great day and make it memorable are in the minority. I''m not sure this fairs well for our club, we have turned into nice little old Norwich full of people who when push comes to shove do sod and blame everyone else! -
Given our London blues its unlikely but omens are that we went down at the valley so why not go up there!!

Guys he is quality player! No disrespect to the ginger pele but i think he was carrying an injury and looked unfit!Leeds also were not built to be attacking today...just very solid!

VILLAGE IDIOT AT SWINDON

Seemed a good laugh!I think every one was nervous (quite like the team) and he relieved the tension a bit. -
I went to qpr southampton (mate who is a saints fan), and just gave Andy Marshall stick the whole second half (and a bit to Kelvin Davis the child abuser). Love being so close to the pitch at qpr and shouted out JUDAS etc, much to the confusion of the away following!
