Pyro, As far as i understand it, they are all on a divisional pay contract, as we were in the prem they get paid one wage and as we are now not, then they already have it written down what they will get paid in Div 1. Part of the ''Prudence with Ambition'' campagin i think. Chris

I was in the Jarrold Stand on sat and i can confirm that Bentley was there as i said hello to him. I was just coming out of the loos in block K and there he was just standing there. Didn''t see Sven or Helveg but i did see Francis in there when he was out with the broken cheek bone. Looks like thats where they all sit when there injured.

Couldn''t agree more!! People must think that we were going to walk it in the Prem. Div 1 Champs, playing great football, means nothing to the prem. Some of the best players in the world are in the Prem and then i hear complaints about how we don''t defend very well! If we had £100m to spend on players, then i would be more inclined to agree, but we don''t. We have Flem and the Doc, who has been superb the last few games. That''s it, that is who Worthy will choose week in, week out. They are not the best in the prem by a long way, but that is who we have!!! We can''t afford any better players, seems as though some people would rather we did a Leeds / Scum and go into administration than have a decent football club. We didn''t get many players in this transfer window, but maybe the players didn''t want to join us, rather than a lack of ambition from the club/ Worthy. Getting Ashton was great and is an excellent addition to the squad, maybe other players didn''t want to be stuck out in East Anglia?!?! Sorry this has turned into a bit of a rant but i read all the crap that goes on here and it makes my blood boil! I desperatly want the club to stay in the prem, but at the expense of having to sell all the best players when were in administration, no thanks. Rather have another year in the fizzy pop league and then have some money to spend. OTBC Chris

Personally, i would put Helveg in for Flem, he has played there for his country and he looks classy enough to cut it here. Before we go changing the defence, we need to sort out the midfield, at the weekend i saw the midfield just sitting back and leaving boro''s midfield to have the ball. Chris

I personally dont think he needs a rest. How much problem did he cause Liverpool and Pompy? Loads. He has good games and bad games as they all do, but you must remember that the standard of defending in the Premiership is a step above the first division, apart from us maybe! I think we''d have more of a problem if he wasn''t in the squad as 2 of the opposition wouldn''t have to mark him!! Maybe he should play just off of Ashton? Just my 2p worth! Chris

I have been thinking the same for a while, even if we do go down, the club will still exist, we''ll keep 99.9% of players, maybe Greeno going, poss Francis, but the bulk of them team was there and maybe another year of playing together will help?!? We''ll have some money for the next 2 seasons min., and we SHOULD be able to go straight back up and get some new, better players. Chris

From listening to the radio, it seems like Chelsea were just class! Ok Helveg gave away the first goal, they only had 3 shots on target, they were just clincal and superb! I heard a great one the other day, i was in the pub watching the arsenal v chelski match. The was a gooner sat near me who started saying the Norwich and Arsenal were going to do a swap, Matty Svensson for Dennis Bergkamp! i had to go to the loo as i nearly wet myself laughing!!
