  1. you see at the end of the web address where is says: Adepto=grant%20holt%20A''%20Norwich%20City change the name grant%20holt and replace it with your own name and you could be moving to Benfica!
  2. how about for Siberski:   He''s old, He''s bald, he''ll score us lots of goals Siberski
  3. attacking you will be solid you wont Well, that will be a 50% improvment on what we have at the moment! [;)]
  4. He''s just been appointed as Leicester Manager!
  5. yeah but sadly he has just signed for £1m for Derby!
  6. So by proven you mean the 1 goal then and the massive wages demands he will have? Yeah i can see why we MUST have him.
  7. Ahhh, yes that''s right. Thanks for the pointers.
  8. ok, i have them all except right wing, i can''t think of anyone except Jonson. any clues please
  9. Well, Rossi Jarvis is probably the only other central midfielder we have so it''s got to be worth giving him a game. It''s not like it can get much worse can it! Hopefully Safri will be back for the Luton match and they can have a run out.
  10. He has been one of probably 3 players that have been good for city: Safri, Doc, Ashton The Doc has looked so much better now he is playing in his preferred position. Now all they both need is decent cover from midfield and then they might stop hoofing the ball up the pitch. I''m sure the only reason they do this is cos they know the midfield will give it away too easily, although it comes back almost as fast when they hoof it.
  11. surely it would be better to take the team away and try some team building activities, try and get some team spirit back, and get them to fight for each other.
  12. I think the main reason there have been so many captains is because of injuries. Hughes would have been captain for all the games if he had been fit.
  13. Just a quick question Robert, how do you know he didn''t try and get him? KTF
  14. I think this is an occasion where Worthy has to say he thinks we''ll finish in the top 2, if he''s realistic ie playoffs will be lucky on current form, then people will slaughter him for not being positive and lacking ambition, but then he says he thinks we can get top 2 and then people say that he''s not being realistic! I am sure we can get the playoffs and maybe second if we get Safri and others back to bolster the squad. We need an amazing run for most of the season, but we have done it before when the chips are down. KTF
  15. thank god for someone sensible!!!!! people are getting so worked up, finding any tiny excuse to get at Worthy, even accusing him of going against medical advice. Next thing he''ll be up for murder!!!! personally i think some of the ''fans'' on this board need their heads examined. I''m not saying Worthy is perfect, far from it, but people are so fickle.... ''why doesn''t worthy critise the players'' and when he does it''s ''he shouldn''t pass the blame on to the players''. ''Worthy doesn''t listen to what the fans want'' but they wouldn''t want a manager who is easily swayed!!!!!!! I was walking home from the game at the weekend and all i could hear on the way home was ''....i''ve never liked Worthington......'', funny how you never hear that when times are better.... There''s a song for people like you...... ''You only sing when your winning.....'' i think Alan Hanson summed it up best on Match of the Day; ''when a club is going through a tough time, the players, supporters and manager need to stick together to get out of it.'' Couldn''t agree more. I was at Watford, i saw the first half and was so angry at how we ''played'' (loose term there), but i''ll carry on supporting no matter what other people think. Sorry this has turned into a long rant, but i just can''t believe some of the comments on here....
  16. If it is true about Deano needing an operation to cure his injury then i guess he will try and carry on till Thorne is fit. Hope he''s not out for too long...
  17. I''d love us to play Man U at Home in the next round, ah those were the days...... If not, then Sunderland... Marney should be able to play in the cup as we have him on season long loan and when he goes back it''ll be next season.
  18. never mind, WE BEAT THE SCUM 1 - 0!!!!
  19. Just been watching the match highlights, and looking at the stats for the game on Canaries world it says that we had 37% possession in that match! That is appalling and even more so as we were at home!!!!!!!!!! i don''t think that there was more than a couple of minutes at a time when we had control of the ball and our passing never got going at all. Worthy said he thought the first half our passing was good, but i think he was wrong. I thought Hughes was ok in the first half, he seemed to tidy up when we inevitably lost the ball but Charlie is nowhere near a midfielder. I''m sure Jarrett had more than 4 mins playing time in him. We seem to have the same problems as last year, no midfield to cover the defence. Hope (praying) we do better against Crewe tomorrow night. Chris
  20. The deal has been done. It''s on the official site, £1.5m up front, another £500k based on appearances, 25% sell on clause, plus £250k if they manage to stay up. Not a bad deal! http://www.canaries.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/FirstNewsDetail/0,,10355~694224,00.html Looks like he couldn''t wait to go! Oh well, we''ll be better off without him. Chris
  21. How about Steve Sidwell? He''s highly rated!
  22. As far as i understand it, it all started when someone said that they saw Carl Cort in ASDA and therefore he was going to sign for City. This started off the whole ''saw xxxxxxx in Asda'' rumours. Hope that helps. Chris
  23. I''m going too! Jarrold Stand, Area K Row O. Meeky, did you go to the Dereham match because i''m sure i saw someone with a Meeky away shirt on, was that you? Cheers Chris
  24. Hi, I''m Chris, long timer lurker and occasional contributor to the messageboards. 24, live in norwch (about 20 mins walk to the Sacred Turf of Carrow Road), work for a small company creating websites and i also look after company''s IT systems as well. Lived in Norfolk for about 5 years now, i use to live in North Devon (there''s NO football down there!) but moved up to Norwich to be with a girl who''s now my wife. The first match i saw was the Barnsley 2-0 win at home the year we went to cardiff. I have always liked football and my father-in-law has been going for 20/30 years so took me along one day and have hardly missed a match since, although i did have the chance to go to Cardiff and for some strange reason which eludes me to this day, i didn''t go. I use to sit in the N & P end, near Cheeseboard and the bloke who shouts alot, but moved to the middle of the Jarrold stand when it was rebuilt. You can usually spot me as i''m the shouty bloke now. My claim to fame is that when Man U were at carrow road (what a match that was!!!!), the Sky cameras picked me and my brother-in-law out of the crowd and showed just to two of us. My mate, who''s a Man U fan texted me and told me. I got some people asking me this, especially down my local! OTBC
