1. 40 pounds on petrol and a couple of pints? Be careful mate, tilly works....ahem,posts on here!
 2. Regardless of drink or not ,prior to a game,I still piss every 5 minutes! I spend very little these days as I rarely drink daytime now but years back we would pile out of boulton and Paul and straight into the pub. Half my wage was gone by 11 Saturday night!
 3. Sorry, silly me i just noticed you said he played under Mercer.
 4.

Keelan?
Keelan went on to play in the states and i believe he played for lower league teams,Wrexham was one if my memory recalls.
Also Stockport, Arthur.
Yes indeed he did Beausant well remembered
Also Kidderminster and Aston Villa. He played under Joe Mercer at Villa and in his book he tells of a different side to Mercer than the one we all imagine! I cant recall him playing for Villa, when was this NN? I''ve yet to read the book in all my sins!
7.
As good as LeTiss was (and he was more than good), surely the most famous one-club players are the two who are still performing at the highest level with outstanding ability to this day - and whilst they are still playing, the likelihood of them leaving their club before their careers finish is pretty slim.  Ladies and gents, I present to you... Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. Thank you, and good night...
The difference between Le Tiss and Giggs and Scholes is the fact they play for possibly the biggest club in the world where as Tiss played for an average sized club and did not allow the pound signs to come between his loyalty towards his club. For that alone i think he stands out as the best one club player.
 8. Apparently le tiss had an option to join arsenal who offered to triple his wages but he declined! If true what a true legend to saints fans.
 9. Good morning this is Pakistan Radio, and here are the Cricket results for Tomorrow!! Sorry, couldn''t resist.
 10.

Shock news just in, Wizard disappears when faced with actual facts proving he was talking crap. [:)]
Shock news, Wizard enjoys other things in life, other than this poxed up message board. Good morning peeps.
Cough cough cough bullshit cough.
Go screw yourself morty, I''m having a months rest from this site from 12 noon today. So.........................................[:P]
Now Now Wiz, Don''t do a Whittle, it ends in an epic failure. These lads and lasses are far to enjoyable to take a month off and you and me know it you stubborn old tart!
 11.

As I''ve said,no need for a minutes silence but all this guardianista Yank bashing from the usual self loathing hypocritical lefties is pathetic.
Surely only Yanks getting involved in ''Yank bashing'' can be described as ''self loathing''? Bless you and your meaningless labels Arthur...............you stupid old right wing Nazi bigot [;)]
LOL.Good ole Shack
 12. Interesting points Nexus. I must admit to only knowing America and its populous from two holidays there and find them to be some of the most hospitable people I''ve met,and believe me I''ve travelled all over. I must say they are extremely naive to the bigger global picture but thats down to there to various things.
 13. As I''ve said,no need for a minutes silence but all this guardianista Yank bashing from the usual self loathing hypocritical lefties is pathetic.
 14. No. We should not become a self pity city like Liverpool. Ever since Diana was killed in a car crash we look to anything to make us feel that we have pity yet the very same people let their kids run feral on the streets. I''m tempted to open a florist outside anfield!
 15.
So, someone who stands there doing the Peacock or similar is game one for getting a broken nose? You and your sons may think that it''s normal, but most non thug families don''t. I''m all for banter, but I think the wannabe bad boys who decide to fight anyone because they can''t handle the banter are mindless coks.
Twisting my words a bit but anyway......what if someone in a green gimp suit came up to you on Prince Of Wales Road, giving it "the peacock" shouting abuse.....how would you react??? Not saying what happened to him was right, feel sorry for the lad, but do you get my drift yet........
 16.
Oh would you now! And just where did you hear/see he was acting like a gimp? He did not miss behave nor ''act like a gimp'' He went there to have a bit of fun and just about everyone who saw him, saw it as that. the only ones who didnt were a bunch of thugs.....and you. Did you go?
Yes I did go, my holiday home in Derbyshire, means I have long weekends for games like Derby, Forest, Leicester. I am sorry, bad choice of words, but I didnt mean acting like a gimp, I meant he was dressed like a green version of the gimp from Pulp Fiction, and no matter how much you lot try to make out he was innocent in all this, his constant standing facing the forest fans, arms wide apart or "the peacock", is giving it the big un. Cowardly for 4 to jump him, but these things happen, when you mock a large group, of people for a large amount of time, eg, what you lot dismiss as banter. Sorry for the poor choice of words, and I hope the lads ok.
 17.

And if you honestly think if my son dressed like a green version of a gimp, giving it loads to the other supporters, then cried when he got a little cuff round the lug, you are very much mistaken.
''A cuff round the lug'' is different to being set upon by a group of several men, being punched in the face and having your nose broken. Do you advocate large groups of men giving one person a kicking? Personally I think it''s a bit cowardly.
I do think its cowardly 4 on 1 so sorry for that and hope the lad is ok, what im saying is there is banter and then there is going OTT. Thge gimp comment is he was wearing a green gimp suit. And by saying he "cried" I meant he went and done a story for the papers. Bit like a guy who was refused entry to Ipswich as his mate had his ticket and got stuck in a holding cell with a few lads. They all had a laugh, and tried to make him feel at ease as he was distraught, had a few jokes, made him laugh and calm down, and all parted on handshakes and wished each other well. What thanks did they get? 3 days later the Evening News had his story, saying he had been locked up with a bunch of vicious known hooligans.
 18. And if you honestly think if my son dressed like a green version of a gimp, giving it loads to the other supporters, then cried when he got a little cuff round the lug, you are very much mistaken.
 19.
Whittle if it was your son / brother or family member you may view it differently... Have some respect.
If it was a family member or whatever dressed in a tight green suit, acting like a green gimp, then I would say, "you have learned a lesson son."
 20. I stand on the castle mound and think off my memories of being born in this fine city, look towards carrow road, and think I''ve truly won the lottery of life.
 21. Is it any wonder our city is seen as a bunch of wig wearing Jessie''s? This "front page headline " is pathetic. Jeez, there really is a big world outside naaaarfalk! In tomorrow''s EEN....sprowston fire brigade saves cat from tree....zzzzzz
