1.
It is a fact of life, not the board''s fault. We are NOT a big club and richer clubs have always taken our better players.  For players it is a job and if they have any hunger and ambition at all they will follow the money and the higher standard of football. The only way to stop it happening is to make sure we sign rubbish players who the better teams won''t want.   But then I suppose you''d moan about the board if they did that too.   How about you suggest something realistic that the board could do that they are not?
The truth would be a bloody good start!
 2. Simple question. They told us no players would be sold because of the Turners money-LIE! They toldd us Earnie would only be sold for silly money-LIE! They told us Etuhu had a dental problem thats why he missed the Exeter game-LIE! This is only over the last few weeks, but has been going on for over 3 seasons yet some of you still somehow defend the liars running our club. What will it take for some people to see what they are doing to this club? Relegation? Even Darren Huckerbys publicly spoken out against them. I feel sorry for Grant. He tries to build a decent team but with this board what chance does he have. Do you board defenders not recall this is exactly the reason why Robert Chase was hounded out?
 3.
None of us (not even Huckerby) would mind if we sold one (sometimes two) of our better players each year, as long as: 1) They were sold at top value. 2) An adequate replacement with scope to improve/develop into an equally capable player, had been purchased at the same time. 3) That any such sale would prove to have little effect on overall team ability, so that we maintained the drive to achieve success on the field of play. Not so long ago we were without the support of wealthy owners & their friends, and had not received the extensive riches on offer to clubs who reach the Premier league in this current era. Player sales were a necessity in keeping us self-sufficient. As history tells us, when managed correctly a medium sized club can lose the occasional player to the wealthy ''vultures'' & still compete at the highest level. Our inept Board of Directors made it clea that with the £2m of investment from Smith''s friends - NO Players would need to be sold!!!!!!!!!! We now find that 3 of our best players have/are being sold - a situation which is angering both Grant and one of his senior & most influential players. In addition, the Club captain has also (on 2 occasions in the past year) been quoted by the press as being unhappy with the imbalance of quality going out against that coming in. How unbelievable it is - that Chase was hounded from office after bringing us the most successful period in the club''s history. He left us £6m in debt, but with player values way in excess of this, & other assets which have been extremely beneficial to the curent Board. These clowns have resided over a period of under-achievement on the pitch, and yet some people are still trying to suggest that they have done nothing wrong. The club is being run by a bunch of idiots who have achieved nothing but failure. They WASTED the chance of medium to long term financial & on-field success & clearly do not share the ambitions of Grant and many of the players and supporters. They are a disgrace - simple as that!.
Spot on couldnt agree bloody more with you but the biggest disgrace in my eyes are the ones who still back the board thus setting us back for yet anougher season.
 4. Etuhu and Earnie have gone and Colin and Safri look like joining them-welcome to the circus that is NCFC!
 5. Who on here still supports the board and if so why?
 6.

Ohh and while we are on the subject... Did Dickson have a dental problem on saturday? I personally doubt it. Come on all the pro Delias, its a little quiet!! I for one am seriously questioning whether to keep my season ticket and would like to know if it is possible to get a refund before the season starts. I cant stand the thought of the club taking advantage of my loyalty again by selling our better players after so many renewels.
So Mr Whittle are you keeping your season ticket then?  Backing up what you stated before? [:|]If you feel that hard done by Mr Whittle might I suggest you go straight away to CR and obtain a refund.  There will be people no doubt waiting for a season ticket to take your place. In fact how many of those people who keep threatening to not renew, or want a refund are actually going to back up their bold statements? Hmmmm interesting to know. If you don''t like the product, then dont buy it.  Be like smudger, who I admire for the fact he has stuck to his guns and for what he believes in.  Just like I, and all have their opinions.  But don''t say one thing and dont do it, after all talk is cheap. If people want to protest then go for it, it''s your right, however, I don''t really think now is the time, and I cant see the protests getting much support at the minute, Granty has brought in 6 players, albeit we don''t know how the new side will gel together, but every season with new players starts the same and this one really is no different.  Ok so two have gone, ''If Im feeling low I wont play well'' Etuhu, and Ernie who we were without for a lot of last season anyhow, it''s not the end of the world. Last season I remember a lot of fans on this very forum critisising Mr Etuhu for playing below par all bar a few good games when his confidence was high, so why now do they not want to lose him?  Surely if Granty can get in a player who will give more than Etuhu then it would have been a good deal for NCFC to offload a player who cant play unless he is feeling confident? The transfer window has not closed yet, so lets at least give it until it''s closed, let Granty try to replace Etuhu with someone who actually wants to play for NCFC, see the first few games and then decide on what youve seen.  In other words, don''t make harsh or rash choices before any of us know how the team will play together. Lets imagine, just for arguments sake, If you did get a refund on your season ticket, Norwich did well and looked as though they we surpassing your expectations, would you not then be a little sick you had given up your season ticket on the whim Etuhu and Earnie left and you didnt give the new team a chance?  [;)]
You seem to of missed my point. Im THINKING of selling my ticket.  IMO the board have lied to us again after selling the crown jewels directly after excepted season tickets have been bought, which again in my opinion is verging on criminal but if your happy to keep doing this i think its people like yourself we have to blame about the way the club is going and thats backwards. I cant really see how anybody can call me negative when its clear to see the problem stems from the people backing the board year after year .  WAKEY WAKEY SUCKERS!!!!!!!
 7. So the club DID LIE- Dickson didnt have a dental problem he was moving to sunderland all along. How many more loies before people can see this board for what they are?
 8.

.it looks like Colin, Safri and Ethuhu will leave so people have a right to be a little peeved.
Well, yes, if they go it will be bad.  But the people who want them will pay money.  And we can use that money to bring in other players.  We have about 50 days to do that. If it was the week of the first match and Etuhu had just upped sticks and left, leaving us with no back up plan for the first match, I could understand the outrage.  But come on - we''ve got a bit of time, and a bit of money, let''s see if we can do better.
What evidence is there to suggest that this board are not doing the same as Chase? None so far, sell a player and buy a cheap replacement and watch the club crumble. This would be 2 crucial players leaving, and theres no hiding from that. Pre season has started and ideally you want your players to get used to each other before the season starts.
 9.
Hmmmm Just occurred to me .....   is Brellier better/worse than Safri?                                        is Chadwick better/worse than Etuhu? Not sure about all this, but may not be totally disastrous. Yet.
Chadwicks a winger and Etuhu is a centre mid.
 10. Im sure there will be plenty on sale on the day although i cant for the life of me think how they might sell them after the crap the club has spun us recently!
 11. Ohh and while we are on the subject... Did Dickson have a dental problem on saturday? I personally doubt it. Come on all the pro Delias, its a little quiet!! 12. Give me one bloody good reason why we should feel optimistic about the way the board have let our best players walk from this club without replaceing them [ and dont say transfer period is not over, for god sake who would really want to come here now?] Ive said along with others that the board are weak and far from ambitious and every year the same lot will come out in there defence only for them all to walk away with the ''''oh well maybe next year'''' attitude, and ''''Delias our girl we''re all one big happy family'''' [sick bag] Huckerby, if you read this i for one wouldnt blame you if you walked. Then maybe all the pro delias can really hang there heads in shame!!!

Arsenal Roy is a very nice fellow, it''s just a pity he has to support that dreadful London club though, isn''t it.
It is a shame but we make sure he gets it in the lug! Its a nice pub and a friendly bunch who drink in there. Do you frequent it much?
 14.
Firstly, have any of the regulars on here actually met Arthur in person? Secondly Arthur, who is that picture of in your avatar?  Thirdly, Arthur, the language you use, the words you type are not those of an old man, you try to type and phrase things that way, but sometimes you slip up. Finally, Arthur if you can prove me wrong on all of the above I apologise profusely. But I don''t think think you can.  Which is why I tend to avoid your posts and certainly avoid replying to you directly.
The language i use isnt the type an old man would use? what? what is the point of this thread? i take its to qution who i am? Thats what i hate about this site,if you have an issue with the board everyone starts making up ideas about Binners, wind ups ect ect. Grow up mate.

 16.
Here''s Arthur''s letter for those of you who don''t get the local newspaper. I''m not going to be fooled by the Board''s lies. At the start of the close season (apparently) we put in bids of £2m for Sharpe and £500k for Marshall before selling Earnshaw for £3.5m. If my calculations are correct, we have a transfer kitty of £6m, so why is the money not being spent on proven talent? Instead we go for former Norwich Reserves, unheard of foreigns and freebees from the lower leagues and Scotland and this board wants us to believe they are ambitious. Maybe Neil Doncaster would care to explain why Delia is not leeting Grant dip into her handbag and is having to wheel and deal on 3rd choice benchwarmers? If things dont change I believe the board will find themselves even more unpopular and we could find ourselves staging a chase out protest all over again Shame you didn''t go into specifics of the lies you think the board have told us backed up by  specific facts. Also presume you''re refering to Cureton as a former Norwich reserve but that was 11 years ago, why not judge him on what he''s done in the past couple of seasons, he was the Championship leading scorer last season. Also you say we should have gone for proven talent, which players would you have bid for Arthur? With regards to your £6m transfer kitty if you add up what we''ve spent on Cureton £800k, Marshall £1m, Dave the Striker £800k that adds up to£2.6m on top of that you have to add on signing on fees, agents fees and wages. Lets assume that the 6 players are all on the average championship wage of £5k thats another £30k pw which over a year is £1.5m. We''ll be lucky if there is £1.5m left now but thats just my guess.
Ohh ohh look Arthurs made the paper oh oh look everyone! and your point is? Prove to me that the board hasnt lied to us,i bet my figures add up compared to yours. This site is getting silly and its silly remarks like ''''Arthurs made the paper'''' [chidish voice] that really makes me see the mentality of some posters on here
 17.

Give me a good reason why we dont have 6m and why we cant spend it.
Before the Turners came in, there was going to be a 2 million pound shortfall this season due to the loss of parachute payments, according to Roger Munby.  When the Turners arrived, we were told that we "didn''t have to sell".  We weren''t told that we had money to spend, although it was rumoured that the Turners had provided a transfer budget. Is it possible that the club realised that Earnshaw would be off to the Premiership, that they knew he would go for his release clause fee of 3.5 million, and that the money for the Sharp and Marshall bids was used in advance, on the basis that the 3.5 million was guaranteed ? I doubt that we would have signed Cureton or Strihavka if we had signed Sharp.  Maybe it''s just as well we didn''t.  Would Sharp / Brown, or Sharp / Martin have been more successful than Cureton / Strihavka ?
Grant has his tied by the board and has to wheel and deal and settle for 2nd best.
Grant and Duffy believe that they have got good players for the money they''ve spent.  The Scots are naturally frugal as you know [:)] Grant on Strihavka : "We thought that with his quality we wouldn''t be able to get him.  There was talk of a few Premiership clubs looking at him and also top clubs in the Czech Republic were wanting him and I can understand why because he was the top league goalscorer last year." Duffy on Brellier : "Julien reads the game very well; he keeps the game simple; he doesn''t over-elaborate; he sees a danger and snuffs it out very quickly...  Julien allows other players to play and these type of players are becoming more and more invaluable." So how much do we have left to spend ?  Nobody knows.  But let''s say we had 6 million in the pot, and spent every penny available, and still came up short by Xmas.  I can guarantee that you and many others would be crying out for even more money to be spent on new players in January, even if that money wasn''t available. I can understand your frustration Arthur.  You''ve made your money, but it''s not Delia money, and certainly not Turner money.  Would you put 5 or 10 million pounds on a horse at 4-1 ?  That''s pretty much the gamble that the Premiership offers, there are 12 horses capable in this race, and 3 spots on the podium.
Would you not argue that had we signed Ashton at the start f the Season instead of the Jan transfer window things could of been very different? If the money is there we should be setting out a clear indication to potential targets that we mean serious buisness. It could just be that we leave it to late yet again. Its the flip side of the coin i suppose but personally i think we''ve tried the ''''hope for the best'''' scenario far to often and i think we should take the risk, yours and boards view of waiting clearly hasnt worked.

In my eyes we still have at least the Earnshaw money.
