You all have your rights to suggest Smudge is a binner or the likes of Cluck or myself for making comments like this and although i would find it hard to slag the team or individual players or playing staff i do feel that posts like this are born out of frustration and are just a reflection on his/our stance of how he/we feel the club is going.
Ooo ooo ooo, can I join your gang ... can I ... can I? I want to be just like you three - I want to make a name for myself on this message board, I want everyone to know who I am ... can I be like a celebrity too? Here goes ... "God what a joke this football club is, managed poorly from the board room to the bench - players who are a waste of time and don''t care too. It''s not like the good old days is it? If we don''t score at least ten against Barnet and hammer Southampton I am going to unleash a protest and all you suckers who actually go to matches and endorse this farce will end up eventually admitting to me that I was right all along". How that? Am I in the gang now ... will I be remembered? Will I ... will I???     Get over yourselves and cheer up.
Yawn zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
 2. You all seem to have missed the main point. My opinion is simple. You throw the word bully at certain posters yet i bet at some point you have done one of the following    1] joined the worthy or chase out protests-bullying! 2] jeered or booed a player-bullying! 3] ganged up on an idividual in some shape or form-bullying! Yet if you dare to criticise the board you are a bully-strange but true.
 3.
Arthur....all i ever read is you apologising to people!
I dont think you do.
 4.
This must be the most rubbish post ever ! ( & believe me there is some dross gets on this board). Smudger is a big boy who can look after himself, yes he has a view point & it is a free country. But how can you defend someone who WANTS Norwich to be relegated ?????? This is the reason that a lot of people diagree with him (& you). Just because I (& many like me), want Norwich to do well (regardless of who is on the board) it dosen''t mean that we should be subjected to the bile that some people post...................
Why reply then?
 5.
I sdmit it....I cannot resist bullying anyone I perceive to be a bully. Guilty as charged.
so you bully those who bully? What a strange life.
 6.
And your point is............!!!!!!!!!!?????????????
It was the 1st day of the season. Why do you even bother?
 7.

"because people like smudger have actually seen them play" I''m not sure if you''re aware but smudger actually doesn''t attend games or listen in at all. He''ll tell you himself. Its one of his "protests" towards the board to not give them any of his money etc. Its people like me however who DO attend games that are apparently talking out of the wrong orifice. But then I shouldn''t say (true) things like that about smudger since I''m being a "bully" according to Arthur Whittle.
Again a silly attempt to twist words. Ganging up on single posters in your eyes isnt bullying, when he moans about the club hes a bully-get your facts right. Its fine to disagree but what im saying is you all hunt smudger "the bully" down in a pack yet dont see this as bullying.
But Millo, you are being slightly hypocritical as you have done this yourself in the past.
 8.
Points ok start to the season.
Im not saying its great but its not the worst case scenario. We could have been drubbed 4-0 if we hadnt defended all those corners well, so credit to the defence.
 9.
Make your bloody mind up!
Explain???
 10.

I have something i want to get off my chest with regards to people bullying on here. Certain people have accused people like myself, smudger etc of bullying Delia smith. I have a question for those who make this accusation. Have you ever booed a player? Have you ever ganged up on another poster for example you all seem to "bully" smudger? Have you ever jeered a manager? Did you join in with the chase or worthy protests? Have you ever slagged off a player or manager on here or anywhere? I doubt there are few that havent done one of the above so i ask you this question. Why is it ok for you to do this yet me and others slaging off the board is bullying? and also- why is it ok to do one of the above but not do the same to darling Delia and co? It seems to me the ones accusing us of bullying are also the same ones who talk to people like smudger in the same manner. In that case you are hypocrites.
Since Smudger, Cluck came on all they have ever done is treat other supporters with a disgusting attitude and pathetic childish ridicule, and thats the simple truth. If there was constructive and mature debate and criticism of the board then that is fine, but they behave like 5 years olds half the time. Although now I highly suspect Smudger and Cluck are here soley to wind people up, I very much doubt they have any real belief in the stuff they say, they do it merely for the effect. If they really were as fanatical as they proclaim, why have they not done anything? As for the idea of bullying well I don''t believe any poster here can say they are perfect and have not ever resorted to childish taunts, of course most of us at least try to have sensible discussion such as yourself, I think in the frustration of debate people resort to in. Anyway Arthur I shall take this moment to apoligise for any ridicule I have done towards you. As for the Delia issue, we all have differing opinions on the matter but I simply cannot agree with the ridicule that is put forth to anyone who is not a die-hard "delia out". I think some of the delia bashing has just become very boring and pointless. There''s no constructive arguement in it and 6 months on from when I first asked "What''s the solution?" I''m still yet to hear any sensible or constructive arguement, merely the same "everything NCFC is rubbish". So what do we do? Sack NCFC? Finally we are all technically Hypocrites in some fashion [:P]
Some good points, and i apologise also. It just seems to me that the word "bully" is banded about lightly to people like smudger yet some of the stick he comes in for is out of line. Does he bring this on himself? Perhaps, but does that not make those just as bad as him then?
 11.
"Have you ever ganged up on another poster for example you all seem to "bully" smudger?" Oh my god. Everyone, just say "I agree" to everything smudger says. At least we can save ourselves some aggro and not come across as "bullies" for not sharing his views. Arthur, how exactly do you agree with someone who blatently wants the team (he apparently supports) to lose?
So, ganging up and abusing smudger because his opinion is different from yours, and his opinion is bullying Delia, you dont class yourself as a bully? Pathetic.
 12. In my eyes that makes him a  VERY BIG supporter and one who should be applauded for standing up and telling it how it is. Imo im being very realistic when i say our current squad is average for the league we are in i just hope Granty can change these average players into a unit all playing for each other and who knows? I dont think you have to be a team full of house hold names to get out of this one but you do need that little something.

 14. Scunthorpe at Charlton Colchester at Sheff utd Blackpool at Leicester P.s. well done to Leeds
 15. Etuhu looked quite decent to me, he had a good snap shot in the 1st half which you fail to mention and got stuck in. Oh boo hoo he missed a chance. It wasnt an easy chance as it bobled up towards him unexpectedly-but why are you so concerned with Dickson Etuhu when he has nothing to do with our club anymore?
 16. ......Ncfc. Seriously i dont class a draw at Preston as a good result considering what has happened to there club this summer, and according to those who say im incorrect and the club is on the up, its a game we should have won surely? But at the end of the day for a team that was under the cosh for the whole game we didnt lose which is a plus. We also now have the chance of a morale boosting big win against Barnet and then play a Southampton team that got battered yesterday, so that should be a couple of wins under our belts by this time next week, so next sunday things might start to look like they are gelling. By all accounts we lack the creativity of Hucks but IMO you shouldnt have to rely on 1 player thats what a squad is for, perhaps Jimmy Smith will help us out in that department? The defence coped well, but the attack seemed out of sorts. The main thing is a point and a clean sheet. I still expect us to challenge for the play offs if what you all say about our new players is true, but will be dissapointed if we dont show more attacking ideas. It wouldnt be fair to cast judgment on a team untill at least 10 games. But hey its the start of the season so im going to anyway. Solid defence, solid point, lacking ideas a touch but 6 out of 10 for performence.
 17.
i cant belive the callers one game clean sheet and one point , do theses so called fans go to matches. know bring on southampton.
You obviously didnt go though either did you, so how can you slag them off? A point against a Preston team who sold the heart of there team { bit like us i guess } and failed to replace them, players out through injury, had a poor pre season and even Neil Adams describes as a poor team, is not a great result. Im neither pleased or unhappy. Im happy we didnt lose because we were played off the park by all accounts by a crap team. So like i said im not happy or unhappy.
 18.
How much more evidence do you need concerning falling behind? Norwich want Darren Carter, no he prefers to sign for Preston. Norwich want Ryan Shawcross, no he prefers to go to Stoke. Now neither of these are that great but we couldn''t get them, when we came up against the mighty Preston or Stoke City. That''s because the opposition were prepared to offer better terms and were more serious about getting them. Neil (Mr Prudent, Mr Cautious, Mr Boring, Mr Mediocre) Doncaster''s hand no doubt is all over this. Enough of the people who run this club are quite happy to see us stumble along mid table in the Championship. Why do they feel the need to do more, we are still filling the ground and buying plenty of football shirts. They are terrified of reaching the premier league because they are utterly incapable of thinking at that level. I am sick to death that clubs such as Wigan, Fulham, Charlton, Reading, Portsmouth, Bolton, Blackburn are regarded are regarded as "big clubs" and we are regarded as "little friendly homely Norwich" and so should everybody else. There''s a big football club hiding at Carrow Rd with the capacity to completely dominate football in the East of England, with the ability to draw 35,000 fans every other week. Stand up, stick your chest out, and demand it! OTBC
Barcley dear boy i gave up ages ago trying to get people on here to understand how we see things yet there happy in there wooly world so expect to get shot down. well said mate, a thread that imo speaks more sense than most ive ever read on here. Never mind hey...as lond as there happy!!!!!
 19.

Spot on Broadslim, imo this is FACT.
If it was FACT, you wouldn''t need to say it was your opinion.....would you? What Broadslim has written is not FACT it is his opinion, you do understand the difference don''t you? He''s entitled to his opinion, as I am to mine and you are to yours. But just because you agree with him does not make his opinion FACT, anymore than the fact that I disagree with him makes his opinion incorrect.
Shut up im sick of these silly quotes being posted. You stick with your opinion i''ll stick with mine......Simple really is it not? i take it YOU understand this is MY opinion. When i use the word FACT i mean it in the sense that its FACT that we have signed cheaper players to the ones we have sold and also of a lesser quality, and i really cant listen to people who will say Cureton is better than Earnie or Smith/etuhtu [not to say he wont be in time]. Im no mug so dont try and make me out to be one..at the end of the day the club will prove whos right.FACT is we have become an average team JUST ASK CARTER!!!!!!
 20.
geo374 - there are loads of players that good be classed as good at some point in their careers but then they fade away.  And some who never even make it that far, have loads of potential but never make it.  Its several years now since this lad has shown anything.  It would be bordering on a miracle if he came good.  It rarely happens in sport and is very rare in football. Shack Attack - Shawcross has gone to Stoke.  We won''t buy Davenport, West Ham will want at least £1m and we don''t have that. I do recall Grant saying he was interested in Riordan.  I can''t find the article, but does anyone else recall this? See reply above to geo374.  Believe me if Grant did have the money we all think he has, he would sign Riordan.  We need defenders, yet he only seems to be looking at loans.  He is looking at Carter to replace Safri / the injured Smith, yet he wants to bring him in loan, I mean loan a player who can''t get into another Champ side, whats going on?  Can you not see a pattern here? I believe IMHO that - Grant rates Davenport, yet we won''t buy him, he rates Carter yet it looks like he will be trying to get him on loan, he rates Riordan, yet won''t buy him. Any other players that Grant would like to bring in won''t be buys, we may see 1 loan if we are lucky.  I''m sorry, but you can think up as many excuses or reasons for the above, but to me it all points to a lack of money. Grant doesn''t have £3m, he doesn''t have £2m, he doesn''t even have £1m to spend on players.  I feel so sorry for Peter, all this money has come in to the club, he is trying to improve the team yet the board are restricting his ability to do this through restricting the transfer budget and perhaps other means, who knows?  And the board know that if it all goes wrong, they can blame Peter, say they backed him 100% that he spent lots of money on new players, quote the number of players he signed, factor in imaginary amounts and wages for 5 years to make it look like the players cost twice as much as they did.  Peter gets the sack and the board gets off scot free yet again. cheers,
Spot on Broadslim, imo this is FACT. Grant has been given limted funds to strengthen the team in certain areas ie..the ones where players have left for big bucks and replaced with cheaper options..Earnie/Cureton..Safri/Smith and the rest have been cheap options, although they had to push the boat out with Mashall and even the board new that imo. I hope im proved wrong i really really do but how can anyone suggest, compared with teams like sheff u [Beattie] we are going to be up there? The blind will see what they want to see imo. Sorry but thats my opinion.
 21.

Some strong views then...but the question is: isn''t it time to move on and concentrate on the football?
You move on and concentrate on the poor excuse for a football team that is paraded in front of you week in week out if you wish.... that is your choice. Yet again though RH you and your little pack have proven to attempt to bully others who have a different opinion. I for one will hold the opinion that Delia and her cronies are no good for NCFC whatsoever and will continue to place pressure on her until the money that we have received for transfers is SPENT IN FULL or the team that her hand picked selection of employees proves me wrong in the performances that they deliver week in week out where it matters.... ON THE PITCH!!!! Clear enough for you???? Quite frankly I am no bully... that is my point of view.... agree with it or disagree with it.... WE WILL SEE WHO IS RIGHT and who is wrong COME WHAT MAY though won''t we????  [:D]
Smudge, I think what you put is quite reasonable, the fact that I see the role and actions of the board differently from you is not for here. Is there some way, do you think, where all of us can enjoy a footballing debate, anticipating the season ahead, talking about players, tactics, the opposition, reviewing and previewing games as a group, having the banter and taking the p*ss without resorting to the, ''you talk drivel, you''re a sheep'' stuff? Should we be moderating ourselves? I feel that you, for instance, when it comes to purely football matters make good points of view, which I don''t always agree with but can respond to without being moderated or deleted. What do you suggest?
Shortfab...Sorry for coming in on the conversation but i for one would love to talk about the football side of things and i have done many a time on this site so im in agreement with you, but ultimatly the way the club is run will always come into the conversations so its always going to be a case of agreeing to disagree instead of petty name callin. Regards
 22.
"Little Donkey" by Nina and Frederick......nice tune........  cluck Arthur Whittle Where have all the good times one- The Kinks Money- Pink Floyd. I got one for you two - Heaven knows I''m miserable now by The Smiths
Yeah thats a great song, maybe we could play that one after!!!!
 23. Where have all the good times one- The Kinks Money- Pink Floyd.
 24.
Ian Holloway: “He''s got another year with us but I can''t see him progressing. I have got some young lads who he is in the way of. I need to make room for them. If he can''t progress I would like him to go somewhere else.” If if is not that good, why are we reportedly interested?
Because he''s on a free... just like shawcross whos a loan.....so thats just ask....WHERE THE HECK IS A PERMANANT LONG TERM CENTRAL DEFENDER WE NEED SO BADLY??? Dear i say we''re all spent out??? I await the usual.
 25.

RH i will agree to disagree because the simple facts are that under this board things have gone backwards and id be surprised [although i hope im proved wrong] if things improve this season. The people upstairs have made it very hard for the men on the ground imo and after selling yet again the cream of the team we have imo replaced them with players that are no better at all. I think the team is stronger in depth but the first 11 is much weaker because the money we have earned from our best 3 first 11 players has not been reinvested in the same quality . Ps UEA Grad... If you think RH original post was constructive and sensible i would suggest you read it again as he has suggested in it that anyone who dislikes Delias running of the club is a coward and bully with a low self esteem or did you just happen to ignore that bit because you agree with it? Im not on here to make arguement so maybe we''ll draw a line under it? Yay or nay?
I''ve re-read it and I still agree, he''s calling people who insult and abuse Delia bullies and cowards. I agree with this because if people insult other people, then yes they are bullies and thus cowards. However if people wish for someone else to be in her position and make there point in a mature sensible manner thats fair enough, but I''m yet to see that happen. Anyway I''ve made my final point and if you want to discuss it further start a new thread.
Im not in the game of insulting DS and co anymore but i disagree with the way things are done. Does that make me a bully? I could easily say the same about anyone on here who call people names behind a keyboard and just because i stated that i thought the original post was drivel i doubt that makes me one.....BUT when people start name calling i believe that does, So explain how im the bully and others like you are not? Im sticking with my views and am big enough to admit if im wrong [ive done on here and many times in my life] but i wont take insults when its clearly double standards. Ive said my bit to RH and i will apoligise for my somewhat simple reply but imo you only see what you want to mate. Regards
