Come on give us your reasons for being positve, im genuinally interested to see how you can see anything positive at CR at the mo......Enlighten me if you would be so kind?
The performances of Spillane and Rossi last night The feeling that when we get Smith & Fozzy back that they will make a difference The passion that Grant has to turn things around and succeed The passion and committment of Hucks and Dion. The feeling that we now have a team who want to play for Norwich City and aren''t just there for the pay packets. The knowledge that we''re not nearly £40m in debt as our friends down the road The love and feeling I have for my club is the thing that keeps me most positive, the pride you feel when they do well like last night and the pride of wearing that green and yellow scarf. Yes its troubled times at the moment performance wise Arthur, no-one can disagree, but thats what being a fan is all about, you have good times and bad times and hopefully you come through them. To me, missing a game isnt an option, I want to be there when I can to support them because they need us just like us addicted fans need them at the weekends.
1- The fans have been calling for Rossi and Spillane to get there chance for ages and its only down to injury Grant picked them. 2-Do you honestly think fozzy and smith {who no-one has really seen play yet} will make that much a difference? 3-Grant  has passion-he also has a lot of other things, so no i dont think he has turnes things around. 4-Hucks is so committed that he has already publicly spoken out against the club twice this season. 5-1 losing performence does not change a thing-you play a game for 90 minutes. 6-I dont give a stuff what happens to the scum down the road as long as we beat them on derby day. NEXT..................
 2. Its blatantly obvious that there was no injury, it was punishment for speaking exactly what the fans are thinking-either that or the biggest coincidence in history.

 4.
First post?  You signed up to spout that did you?   Last years we all thought losing to Chelsea 4-0 was good because we made them look average apart from their obvious superiority in scoring - suddenly a narrow 1-0 loss to the team third in the table is poor? And I see that the prince of darkness has lept to your support.  No doubt he will take you under his wind and within a week you will be starting threds saying ''you lot are deluded if you think we can get promoted'' ''sack the cook'' jocks are evil'' and other nonsense.
.....We are told to celebrate and be proud of a 1.0 defeat against Man City reserves.   We really have come a long way haven''t we?

Well i must admit not ALL jocks are evil but what exactly is Nonsense about the rest? Enlighten me please.
 5.
Mmmmmm.....here we go again. When Wiz decided to support Grant....very few realists took it on themselves to batter him. It''s called freedom of expression and the right to think what he likes. I never once threw insults as it is his right to form his own conclusions and put them forward. Yet....here we are again with the apologists throwing bricks not more than a few days after they had cosied up to a "reformed" opinion that suited them. Speaks volumes about who wants to control opinion on here....and which of us sticks purely to facts without personalising matters. Baaaaahhhh........
Cluck mate i sometimes wonder why i bother with this site but if i can make one person see sense about the way our clubs going by posting on here than it can only be a good thing. Just last week when the sheep were running out of excuses on here they reverted to slagging my spelling mistakes! Oh well let them forever have there blimkered view, at least 1st Wiz has cleaned the sand from his ears.
 6.

Cluck wrote  Robert no longer in Manila wrote: Absolutely, Mystic Meg. This re-writing of history is astonishing. The fact is that we are still recovering from Chase''s "stewardship" of this club. His incompetence (assuming it was incompetence) got us relegated from the Premier League at precisely the worst time to get relegated. Chase deserves nothing, except possibly a prison sentence. What utter nonsense.  The Chase era brought us more excitement than this club had ever seen before....and soon into the Smith years the debts had been settled by selling off the family silver that Chase put in place. Smith capitalised on what Chase brought to the club....and then promptly dismantled it. No-one can condone how it all ended up under Chase...but neither can we begin to compare what he gave us compared to Smith. If you want to talk about incompetence save your whineing for Smith....because at least Chase had some idea of why the paying public turned up on matchdays....and there wasn''t a single souffle in sight. We were a football club back then...not merely a kitchen extension. How can you defend someone who sells the entire forward line without telling the manger - thats when the family silver went. The thing is people want to see football on the pitch not bits of land round the back of the ground - and before you say it I know that has come in handy recently, but it was still a gamble which could have backfired, and very nearly did. And believe it or not I am going to say how wonderful the board are, probably all boards could do better and hindsight is great isnt it.
How about because he had a forward line worth selling back then? How much for our current pile of plop then? Despite his flaws...those of us old enough to remember had some great years under Chase and saw many great players on the park. As a business man I know that nothing is gained without a degree of risk....and it''s a case of win a few...lose a few. Chase gambled too much and lost....Smith never gambled a penny yet has taken us to a lower depth than Chase ever did. Small thinking has engineered a small club....sadly followed by equally small thinking "supporters"...if they can infact be described as such. You believe what you like with your selective thinking....but Smith and her prudence has destroyed the credibility of this club long term...whereas Chase created a force to be admired. I know which kind of set-up I prefer...risky or not.
Well said Cluck. Yes Chase done damage but look where we are still and at the end of the day the FOOTBALL [you know that thing we spend the cash to go to CR to watch?] is utter crap and has pretty much always played second fiddle under DS......Seems the saviour myth lives on!
 7.

Were you there 7Rew? I managed to grab a few tickets as well but didn''t spot you... Anyways... It was indeed a good performance, and it was mostly our reserves as well against some "big money" signings for Man City - Samaras alone cost about 6 times more than our own strike force tonight! We held out well, Doc defended and more importantly led from the back (I know, it shocked me too) and it was only really Man City''s good use of width that troubled us - until, that is, the ball through the middle that opened us up. It''s easy for the usual crowd to leap upon everyone praising Norwich tonight, pleading calm cos "we haven''t turned the corner yet." But then, these are the same people who cry and bleat when we lose.... it''s as if some people can''t be pleased, God forbid..... [;)]
It was an irrelevance....and we lost to Man City reserves..... And we have turned the corner....heading due south.....rapidly. Bleating is left to the apologists...as the realists just say it how it is.
We moan even when we play well. Cluck, you are about as much of a fan as a broken windmill.
Nice one mate .Best one-liner of the week amongst all the doom & gloom  - and so true!
You really dont get it do you? WE LOST AGAIN. The team we put out  lastnight is as good as what you might call our best team. IMO that is how badly the team on a whole has fallen. Players like Brellier Big Dave ect ect are no better than what we had in reserve last year. Look at the bigger picture. Man city would of battered us if they played theremain team and if we played our first 11. Time will tell, the Clucks and Rickys saw it years ago but you so called fans just cant seem to see it, maybe because half of you dont go, i mean if you did surely you would see the dross we call a team on the pitch and agree its not exceptable?
 8.
I am posting on behalf of NCISA as there has been some comment on here regarding the role of the association in the current turmoil at the club, and indeed in some of the events of the past two years. To answer the question by Mr Carrow, yes NCISA is constantly in touch with the Norwich City Board regarding all manner of things Norwich City. This includes the current concern regarding the teams performance so far this season. As a supporters organisation we are in a position to have dialogue with the club on a regular basis but I would point out this is by no means restricted to us. With the advent of modern technology it is easy for all fans to directly question officials at the football club as many of you have done. Those of you who have done will know that the chief executive Neil Doncaster is receptive to your opinions and almost always responds to emails. As an association we try to gauge opinion particular at difficult times like the present. This isnt always easy. A glance at this message board reveals that there are many differing views regarding what is best for the club right now and it is a similar picture within our membership, on the terraces and also up till recently within our own committee.  At the height of the Worthington crisis I was receiving a mixture of emails telling me either that NCISA wasnt active enough in getting rid of the manager, or that we were disloyal and anticlub. Those of you who read this message board regularly will know that certain individuals still accuse us of the latter while there are always those, as in this thread, who accuse us of being in bed with the football club. It is quite frankly a no win situation. You cannot please all of the people all of the time. Our solution to this conundrum is to try to provide a platform for reasoned debate about what is going on. We did just that during the Worthington debate by organising a fans meeting at St Andrews Hall which was attended by over 500 people. Long before the disappointing results and performances of the last two weeks we were in the process of organising a question and answer session with Peter Grant and Jim Duffy which will be open to all fans including those of you who post on here. I invite you to emerge from behind your masks of anonymity to confront the manager face to face with your concerns? Having listened to various view points this week, NCISA believes at present, just 7 games into a 46 game season it is far too early for knee jerk reactions, demonstrations and calls for the managers head. We dont not feel that if Peter Grant did leave, his replacement would do much better under the current financial restrictions. And, who would it be? What is plan B? Martin Allen, Neil Warnock are names I have heard mentioned. The former is thought to have potential; but has had only limited success at  Brentford and M K Dons. And as for Neil Warnock, well every time he visits Carrow Road he is met with a barrage of bile and vitriol. Hardly the ideal background for a new manager. This view I can assure you is nothing to do with us being ''cosy'' with the football club. I feel certain if you ask Neil Doncaster, he will tell you that he has had a less than cosy relationship with members of the NCISA committee including myself over the past three or four years. I realise that City fans are not concerned with what happens at other clubs, but a glance at the Championship table tells you that we are not the only under achievers in this division. Cardiff have spent an arm and a leg on Fowler and Hasseilbank. Leicester signed 12 players and Sheff Utd have spent £4.5 million on Jams Beattie and £2.5 million on Billy Sharp. None of these teams are exactly setting the division alight either. The season is barely eight weeks old and we feel at this stage of the season that the right thing to do is back Petrer Grant and his backroom staff. I am acutely aware that this post is not what a lot of you want to hear but be assured however that if things do not improve and we find ourselves, say, in the bottom six by Christmas, that NCISA may change its stance. At the end of the day, if we are right to keep our powder dry right now, then we wont be smug and say I told you so. If we are wrong however we will be the first to admit it and be humble enough to accept the ensuing criticism. We want success for this football club as much as the rest of the fans. Kathy Blake Secretary NCISA
Excellent post Kathy and you prove my point too. Not once have you mentioned the boards weak dealings and lack of ambition. Like i said its far to clicky.
 9. The fact we as supporters have let it get this far already doesnt sit well with me at all. PG is clearly out of depth and it seems the board have ran out of back up plans/excuses. Im not sure a protest would benifit us still although i think its highly likely to come soon. Id say wait at least till after the game on Sat and depending on performance. Maybe anougher away game to give the players one more chance to get it right and if nothing changes then i think it would be a better time to take action against the board. Personally i believe this is to little to late and we will now be a greatly supported team languishing in thelower leagues for the forseeable future. 3 Games Max, but i will support one now.
 10. I know people who are planning to make there feelings known because the game is on sky. Before you say " what all 3 of you ", believe what you like if that makes you happy.
 11.
Ouch. Why is it as soon as things go t**ts up at the football club you lot always have a go accusing us of being too cosy / not cosy enough (delete as necessary)? Its a good job we are there really to give you something to lash out at when the going gets tough. What you should remember is that its not just  a word made up of 5 letters that you are laying into, but a group of hard working, caring Norwich City fans who give up their own time to do what they think is best not only for the football club but for you supporters as well. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Absolute poo. For far to long the NCISA has been a cosy little click and far to supportive of the board, [may i suggest its a case of ''im a bigger friend of delia than you!''] I will never have anything to do with it until they realise the way OUR club is going under this lot, but cant see happening.
 12.
So, all happy now?  A manager who took over when we were in relegation trouble, got us into the play off final , got us promoted, one game away from Premiership survival, brought  in some of the best players the club has seen, driven out by the mindless instant gratification demands of the moaning fans.  Trouble is, I do believe that many are happy now, because they can really have a good moan, slag off all involved in the club including a series of witch hunts, maybe even have another demo where all of the whingers can get together and feeds off each other and how right they are. Whatever happened to just supporting your club through good times and bad.  Enjoying the day out and getting behind the team.  By all means have a good moan when things are going badly, but get behind the team rather than doing everything you can to destroy their confidence. Of course things are not rosy at the moment, but things have been worse and they will get better.  As for the comments that the only people on here who care for the club are those that don''t go and gloat at every opportunity, maybe that''s an indictment of growing up under Tony Blair''s spin. I for one will support MY club through thick and thin.  I honestly believe that the Board, Management and Players want us to get out of this mess and this job will be made easier with the support of the fans. I was never in favour or Peter Grant, but whilst he is in charge, he will have my support. Bring on Man City....
Carry on Dicky old son but its not the Whittles,Rickys,Clucks and Smudger who are damaging this club.....Oh no i suggest you look a little closer to home.
 13.
Very well said Arthur and I love the fact you have brought Delia back in her blue scarf... what a bunch of mugs the City fans are these days... mmm I wonder where all that money has gone hey??? WO debts in Suffolk no doubt???
Sorry ive not been in touch smudge but i have a feeling we will be meeting up soon!
 14. Happy now?? Thanks for having such a blind faith in a load of useless mugs. I loved going to CR for all the years i went but now i can safely say this is even worse than the chase days and its down to people who have constantly backed a weak board. The likes of the clicky NCISA should have a long hard think about why they would want to associate themselves with our celebrity chef? Maybe you have had your 15 minutes of fame, but i want football not fame so....DELIA LEAVE NOW AND TAKE YOUR TARTAN YES MAN WITH YOU............bring back the good times at OUR Carrow RD
 15.
I''ve never called you or anyone else on here a binner, besides some of my closest friends are binners and I''ve never held that against them.
Thats a lie darling. You do it to me on a weekly basis.
 16.
I''ve been wondering this for some time and have studies his/her posts carefully for clues and have come to the conclusion that old Wiz is more witch than warlock, infact, almost certainly a laydee. Has anyone else noticed?
And your point is????????????
 17.

If we were at home on Tuesday and scored 2 pens in the last 5 mins?? We would be called lucky just like we were v Palace and Soton.....So does tuesday make us unlucky then? Just like palace and Soton were against us?
Paint it what ever way you like mate, i personally would say we''re not good enough and luck plays only a small part of it. But hey what do i know. Maybe i need some bigger green and yellow specs to watch them through!
or a green and yellow scarf maybe??
watch through a yellow and green scarf? how does that work then?
 18.
Yes....the specs comment. Only took 2 comments.....now roll on the CR PR Spin.......
Well come on answer me this. In your honest opinion from what you have seen does it suggest we are good enough to challenge for at least a play off space?

 20.

The player we needed to sign was a Centre Back, and the fact that Peter Grant hasnt realised this makes one thing clear.... Peter Grant shouldnt be managing Norwich City
How do you know that Grant doesnt think this? We are''nt blooming rich (regardless of what some people may think). Considering players like Davenport are worth 3 mill, and we have much less than that, is it any wonder we havent signed anyone. Think before you post [:|]
Why is this 3mill Davenport constantly bandied around in defence of Grant or the Board not signing a CB? Its absolute rubbish to suggest we cant get one for less than that who would imo better the team. Players like Sodje at reading and Cahill at Villa to name a couple. Spin spin spin and it seems its paying off on some!!
 21.

And i would say everyone of them justified at the moment so i dont really see the point in this thread. FACT- average team being out played on a weekly bases managed by a very questinable manager not being supported by a very weak board.......dont think the stats lie do you?
Oh well if YOU don''t see the point of this thread then I suggest the mods shut it down immediately. I don''t think a lot of it is justified Arthur. I don''t think a thread entitled ''Doherty must go'' is justified when posters who were actually at the game say he played well last night. I don''t think the general hand wringing and attempts to prove who''s the most outraged and upset are justified either. We''ve got threads entitled ''Devoid of all hope'', ''Disgusted'', ''Grant hasn''t a clue'' and ''Grant must go''. They''re are mostly filled with hysterical nonsense. Then we come to your avatar Arthur. At first I thought you were suggesting that Delia was the messiah, what with the stigmata she appears to have, but I guess you''re trying to make a different point altogether. I''ve highlighted a part of your post in blue Arthur which you claim is fact. Read through it again and tell me what it is. I''ll give you a clue, you''re entitled to it. I''m still waiting for a protest thread to be started and I''ll have a full house, come on Arthur don''t let me down!
Come on Shack even you ''Guardianists'' surely can see it is a FACT that we are an average team being outplayed week in and week out or did you just choose to miss that bit? Or maybe just like a true ''Guardianist'' you would rather not look at the stats and blame it on oh lets say ''society on a whole''! Yes i know Doc had a reasonable game my son was there but ultimately he gave the game away, but dont blame the manager or player blame the lack of funding in grass route football and PGs lack of tactical nouse was very questionable but hey i blame lack of investment in football education under Thatcher!!
Arthur - surely you know that the correct noun for a Guardian reader is Guardianista. Also your maths is up the shoot, if we were outplayed every week we would be below average. As average we should get our turn every other game.
Well look at the league, we are below average. Where do you get off on general nit picking? it is rather childish. I would say this, i dont slag any player with the shirt on whilst on the pitch unlike some.  So if Norwich fans are so pedictable maybe it would be better if we clapped and cheered our teams rather quick demise into league 2 football whilst praising the boards non exsistant efforts to bucking the trend of crap football and building lovely hotels! I dont think its me whose predictable, you suckers will still be lining someones pockets when watching us lose against Yeovil.
 22.
Most accurate post i have ever seen. This is fantastic! spot on mate!!!!! Im sure you must be phycic- either that or we have the most predictable "fans" in the world of football, dont you agree Arthur whitle, cluck, smudger, north polar or what ever it is, 1st wiz -in all fairness 1st wiz u have been alot better recently!    N e ay, well done shackattack   OTBC!!! No I don''t blame Thatcher for our current predicament, although she is entirely to blame for the broken metatarsal curse that blights the England team (lack of calcium, due to lack of milk caused by Thatcher the Milk Snatcher = brittle bones. Simple really.). What do ''Guardianists'' blame on society as a whole? I don''t think we were outplayed against Crystal Palace, Cardiff or (despite what some people will tell you) Southampton. I do accept that ''s just my opinion though and not a fact.
I must admit i had a chuckle with your reply but on a serious note to suggest we are not average at the mo is wide of the mark and to use soton palace and cardiff as examples only backs up my point. All very poor teams.
