1.
Anyone else enjoying the weekends coverage? Im not a massive fan of links golf as it''s more pot luck with how your ball runs than skill, but if your a fan of watching pro''s fluffing it in the sand or hacking around in the long grass then links is your game! Really chuffed for Thomas Bjorn to come back and post such a great score at a place that must hold hideous memories! Lambert would appreciate that mental toughness! Anybody else had a cheeky punt on someone? I plucked for Ricky Fowler at 66/1 and Robert Rock 150/1 fingers crossed!
Are NCFC in this? Not usually one for being Forum Plod but........
 2.
" I''m not so sure about Tierny" Based upon what evidence?  His superb Championship season?
I''ll second that. Tierney will make the grade mark my words.
 3.
good to see he is offered and looking to extend his stay. not sure who will start this season at cb, but its good to see this sewn up for us
Totally agree and isn''t it great that we have all this competition for places? Seems we may need another Keeper but who knows, maybe Rudd has come of age and saved us a few Bob.
 4.
Interesting little article I spotted in today''s Telegraph. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8634057/Unemployed-millionaire-footballer-escapes-driving-ban.html I appreciate it was 3 months ago but why was he on the A14 near Newmarket? Was he travelling to Norwich?
His Agent has a gaff in Suffolk.
 5. I use to get mine from Mrs Dales Newsagents on St Johns Close just off Hall Rd and a whole load of us would wait for the van to pull up. We would than nip into the chippy to get the family dinner for Saturday and than go back, have our chips, read the pink''un and head off to the Cricketers pub on Lindley street and discuss the footy over a few Ales....Great days!
 6. Now we are playing with the big boys and staying in the Premiership is the number one objective, do you think its worth a punt on trying to progress in what could be an achievable goal in getting a great Run in the smaller cup competition or should we go the Premiership big guns way and field a second team?
 7.
I don''t get why people keep saying we have spent very little. This is I believe our biggest close season spending spree ever all ready and the total will no doubt increase before the window closes. It may be a relatively small chunk of the £40m that people like to talk about, but I would guess half of that sum is all ready spent on wages and other expenses. I''d be very impressed if we managed to spend another £5m before the season starts.
I think hes suggesting its relatively little with respect to silly Premiership transfer windows and not in relation to our own previous lack of big signings.
 8. Haye needs to get in some BIG punches early on. If he hasn''t hurt Klitschko by the 4th-5th round i fear it will be over for Haye. Heart says Haye,Head says Klitschko.
 9.
What happened to jazz ? Does no one under 50 listen these days to Roland Kirk , Charlie Mingus , Miles Davis. All you get now is the dreadful Jamie Callum tinkering away. Listen to a legend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syvw_Ocfd_M&feature=related
Charlie Mingus is still one of my all time greatest. "Making the simple complicated is commonplace;making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, thats creativity" Spot on.
 10.
probably  on a tour of the uk''s mcdonalds ''restaurants''.
Probably misunderstood Lamberts meaning of " I want Hungary players"
 11. I,Marthur Whittle,Take you,Paul Lambert,to be my lawfully wedded Husband,my constant friend,my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God,our family and friends,i offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health,in good times and in bad,and in joy as well as in sorrow,i promise to love you unconditionally,to support you in your goals,to honour and respect you,to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live........PAUL LAMBERT....I LOVE YOU!
 12.
Not always true.....sometimes players with a particular reputation stick to what they do best. Ronaldo to Real.....continues to score goals and wear hair wax Michael Owen to Man Utd.....continues to be injured Torres to Chelsea.......continues to sulk.
The Doc to Charlton....continues to be s hit. Snodgrass IMO is the perfect example of the kind of Players PL will be sniffing around. I think he''s in our reach finacially both Transfer and wages, Clearly a great talent who most seem to think is a premiership player and the sort of lad PL would improve.
 13. Warnock is quitting QPR,Mcleish will leave brum to take over QPR and a certain Peter Grant to take up the brum job. Lambert will be at norwich still. You heard it here first.
 14. It takes many daisies to make a chain. Many things happened to change our fortunes and I believe those to contributed.
 15. I actually think that those two did play a small part in it all. It was very obvious that there was a lot of discontent growing among the fans even before the start of the season in Division 3,hence the departure of Doomy and the appointment of Mcnally. Things were simmering at CR but i believe many were still going to see how things panned out. 7-1 against a team we thought we would thump was a turning point and i think the fact that two City fans (not exactly renown for our outspoken and aggressive behaviour) swayed a few opinions. That said Gunny was always on borrowed time under Mcnally.
 16. So you come on a city forum to dispel of the misconception of your club by calling us inbred....? Oh the irony.
 17. Jeez move on. Delia and Co f ucked up big time, thankfully realised just before we it was to late, changed things around and came out better for it. They made BIG mistakes that should never be forgotten and they''ve made BIG changes that will always be remembered. End of.
 18. Sorry I''ve taken it off topic a bit. Yes i agree with everyone else, RM has been immense and certainly lived above my expectations of him when he first arrived.
 19. Cheers. So i wonder how much Cody will play in this, I reckon he''s got to be worth not far off that and Gillingham might fancy the waive.
 20.
I should imagine gillingham may want to waive their add on to help their chances of signing Cody.
True. I wonder how much Both teams value Cody and if it''s anywhere near the rumoured 500k add on for Jackson......
 21.

In other promotion clause news Robbie Cowling has confirmed that we don''t owe them anything for Fox or Tierney. Also the Gillingham fans seem to think that we will now owe them 400k for Jackson.
If what i''ve heard is true than the Jackson fee rises to around the 1 million mark. I believe the rumour was 500k paid out initially so it seems potentially with regards to RM and Jackson add on,they could total to nearly a million.
Just to clarify, they could total to nearly a million in add ons alone. Still good business as they both turned out very influential in our quest for the Prem.
