  1. Its already agreed, hes definetly coming back for at least the season.
  2. I dont think he would even be good enough as back up. Drury has had some injuries recently and the thought of Rose having to play LB for a run of games scares the life out of me. Agree with all of that. looked a liability in League one....god knows what would happen in the championship.........
  3. Very good news!!! Was worried Lambert might stick with him, cant afford to show players loyalty if they are not good enough. Well done Lambert!!!
  4. Hartlepool ready to snatch Rose Last updated: 29/05/2010 07:00:00 Michael Rose, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Carrow Road, is a target for Hartlepool United. Canaries boss Paul Lambert has yet to show his hands over Rose, who he brought in from Stockport in January after Adam Drury was injured. Hartlepool director of sport Chris Turner was close to signing the 27-year-old last summer before a clause in his contract scuppered the move. But with a takeover at Stockport likely it could man the return of former boss Jim Gannon - and reports in the north-east suggest Rose would be desperate to leave if that happened. Meanwhile, Walsall boss Chris Hutchings has dismissed speculation coming out of the Midlands that he wants to sign Canaries free agent Jamie Cureton. The 34-year-old, released by Lambert, was reportedly interested in a move to the Bescott Stadium, but Hutchings says it''s a non-starter. "I don''t know where it''s come from," he said. "It''s not come from me. He could be putting that in the paper, I haven''t spoken to Jamie Cureton or his agent. He''s not on my list, no." No big loss IMO....poor distribution.....people took to him for his debut goal, but it became clear he wasnt up to much....midtable league one player at most.
  5. However when Roeder fired the kitman that struck as being entirely vindictive and malicious I agree with this.....Roeder wanted to stamp authority, and done so by sacking the kitman, for no other reason than he could, and a boost to his power trip ego...... If they are making cut backs....wonder if McNally is taking a pay cut lol.........wonder how much McNally is on out of interest???
  6. I know money is tight at the club. But they shouldn''t forget money would be a lot tighter if Geoffrey hadn''t bequethed them a lot in his will (including the millions in interest free loans the club owed him). Spot on!!! Tilly, Kathy, City Angel, Nutty Nigel......would any of you be prepared to organise a collection for the 1st home game???
  7. I think he''s better than Greeno and has more potential too No offence to Frazer, I do think he has potential.....but green is a proven Championship and Premier league keeper....too early to compare IMO.....also heard Frazer being touted for Scotland NO1....any truth to that???
  8. all I hope for is him being here for another year thats a given...at least another year of Frazer.........
  9. Mr McNally is reviewing all parts and getting rid of surplus Theres plenty going then..............
  10. Er... and? Do you work First Jedi???..How would you feel if you were the only person laid off??? Never nice when people loase thier jobs....especially at the minute. I agree its not big news, but yes it has been a slow day today.........
  11. if they are not needed, then maybe it''s been coming. fair point.
  12. Well the rumour of a permanent at the end of the season depends on Newcastles goalkeeping needs..they have Harper, Krull....they have a lad coming through, apart from Forster, they rate highly.......thats all I know
  13. He will be confirmed monday i hear........also heard a rumour....dont get your hopes to high....but the rumour was....its a loan......with a view to a permanent move next june..........dont shoot the messenger!!!
  14. I''ve just heard that at least one person has been made redundant in the Matchday Hospitality team Not having a moan, but how is 1 person going to save us much money??? I take it its not a former player or there would be more info....so its a normal worker......how much are they saving on that??? Terrible news on a bank holiday weekend. Reminds me of when Glen the Slug Roeder sacked the kitman...........
  15. Forest on loan. Oh right, cheers.....I better start buying a different bloody paper lol.
  16. George Boyd would be a useful signing Thought he went to middlesboro???
  17. Nacho Novo??? Is that realistic???.....Getting on...still has a season or two in him......switch from scotts Premier to championship about the same level....championship probably stronger than scotts prem actually.......
  18. Collection before the 1st league home game......£1+ each........I would nominate katy, Tilly, or City Angel, to arrange it, NCISA and capable.....if any of them would be willing to do so???
  19. I also don''t consider myself any less of a patriot to feel that the senseless blaming of immigrants for all our problems is backwards and hateful. Where has anyone said that then???
  20. Would love the classy Rickie Lambert.....but never going to happen......
  21. You have the pretension of supporting a ''big'' club are arrogant enough to pretend your big rivals are Man Utd when they couldn''t care less about you (Huddersfield are your natural rivals) and worse still you go about pretending you have won the European Cup, now thats just sad. I do agree with all of that. The champions of europe song is pathetic.....got smaller gates than us till, yep you guessed it....the glory huinting, win and gain promotion match with Bristol Rovers saw an 38,000 sell out.....In the play off final Leeds took 60,000 to wembley against Doncaster..........where were these loyal, die hard 38,000 fans when you got gates as low as 17,000 this {2009/2010} season???.........Leeds have a big away following, but even loyal Leeds fans must be pissed off, that one minute you get 17,000 the next 38,000.....think if you had sold out week in week out with 38,000 backing the team.....that may have driven Leeds on to win the title by a mile....instead leeds fans stayed away, Norwich stayed loyal and look who won the league......thats not meant to cause an argument with you leeds Johnny, thats just how i see it........do you agree or disagree that had you had 38,000 backing you every home game like you did against Bristol Rovers you would have clinched promotion earlier.....and did it piss you off that Leeds ''fans'' jumped on the promotion bandwagon???.........To me, Leeds, newcastle, Sunderland and Middl;esboro are the biggest glory hunters about at the minute. Anyway...back to England.........
