I think your loyalty here is slightly misplaced.  If it was Crofts and Morison''s lifetime ambition to play for Norwich City and they were local lads, I could understand it more.  But as it is, you''d rather side with a highly paid footballer on a two year contract solely because he''s currently playing for the club you support, and turn your back on the country which has given you an upbringing, and provided you with an education (apparently) amongst other things.

So no, it''s not wrong but I do find your priorities more than a bit sad.

I''d settle for Morison coming off without getting injured and hopefully at some point accidentally elbowing John Terry in the face.

More than a little melodramatic Chops (highly out of character one might also say).

Just a passing note on this discussion, can we save the rather out of place patriotism for when ships are crossing the English Channel waving flags depicting Swastika''s and black eagles, please? One is left feeling it all to be hammy and rather cringeworthy. A'' thankyou.

    John.

I really do try to see things from your point of view but, alas, one cannot crawl up one''s "arris" as far as you.

What''s with all the ''one'' malark Arthur? This isn''t 1950''s Britannia.

As for my endeavours, you''d be surprised. One might say it''s very Introspective.

Oh come on Johnny lad. Reading your posts is like deciphering the enigma code sometimes! Jeez this is a Football forum, not a Guardinista foot stool for the left wing "oh look at me" Elite. Christ, give the billy big bollocks bullshit a miss and come back to Football banter. Far to many twats on the net giving it the "t''internet" Big''un. LAYMAN TERMS PLEASE INSTEAD OF SOME SHITE YOU LEARNT FROM A TWAT IN A UNI...CYCLE!

  3.
anyone remember our last run in the prem it seemed quite a few ''local'' glory hunting supporters used the odd seat in the home sections. one i remember was an arsenal fan in the snake pit....brave man!! sure to say he didnt last long watching his one game in a lifetime. they would be brave to try again this season!
You would''nt of survived on the terrace''s back in the old days!

What an extraordinarily offensive post.  If you can''t even remember the first non British player you saw at Carrow Road you are obviously as dense as your pinkun name would suggest.

Is your favourite comedian Jim Davidson by any chance?

Offensive !!! some people make me die!! how is it offensive... It''s not. I find you offensive for even writing that post.... Muppet.

At least the foreigner who posted this article knows how to spell ''Johnny''

For the sake of the reputation of our club, I hope we don''t sign a foreigner this summer.  If we did, would you call him Johnny Foreigner to his face?

It is an outdated derogatory phrase expressed by ignorant Englishmen about anyone who wasn''t born here.

May i also add that the persons who said " JF" also added "Go home". You are a part off the problem and you cannot see it.

  6.
Arsenal seem to be in a mess at the moment and wengers stock is probably at his lowest since he took over at the club. From Lansburys point of view this might be an opportunity for him to fight his way into the Arsenal squad. Thing is how patient does he want to be. With one year left on his contract he really does not want to be out on loan again or festering in the reserves. I would love him to come here but with his potential would expect a sizable transfer fee of £4m ish to convince the gunners to part with him. A lot may depend upon the wishes of the player. With all the problems with fabrigas and nasri i guess he is low down on wengers problems list
Maybe low down on Whingers problem list but as things are going he may be climbing his pecking order. A loan at most IMO.

Errol Crossan who starred in our greatest ever cup run, was Canadian. Terrific winger of the old school.

Re: the Birmingham signing from Argentina mentioned above. It was Alberto Tarantino and Jim Smith (Birmingham manager) paraded him on TV  like the new Pele. Jim was so chuffed.

Unfortunately, Alberto was a bit of a play-boy, liked the Brum night clubs and ladies to much and wasn''t too keen on attending the English lessons that the club had set-up for him.

Alberto will settle in when he''s leant English, said a hopeful "Bald Eagle" during one local TV interview.

He had a few brilliant moments, but was a flop overall, with no appetite for the rough Division One centre-halfs or the cold English winters. He went home with his fortune and his tale between his legs.

  9.
Some people just never learn!! Anyway.......!! I believe its luck from what I''ve seen today. So many drives have been hit in the rough but rolled back out and some fantastic drives have hit bumps on the fairways and gone everywhere! And with the wind it''s just a lottery. Fascinating to watch though
Main Discussion- NCFC?

  10.
I apologise if this post has caused offence but golf and football have always been two major passions in my life and know of hundreds of footballers that play and share my passion for the game! I''ve also had the pleasure of playing with Craig Fleming (cracking golfer) and Bryan Gunn! so there''s you ncfc link! Please take your negativity elsewhere
