  1. 5th, which would be a brilliant achievement from where weve come. just think theres 2 or 3 stronger squads than ours but i certainly would back us to progress through the play offs. I think top 6 will be: 1. QPR 2. Cardiff 3. Notts Forest 4. Swansea 5. Norwich 6. Leeds
  2. the way im looking into all this is that lambert is trying to get a better contract from the club, which hes perfectly entitled to do and thoroughly deserved too, and to demand an increased transfer and wage budget to ensure the team can be strengthened sufficiently to achieve promotion. yes it may be a bit unsettling for fans and players alike, but these things are bound to happen when you have one of the best young managers around. im 99% sure he''ll still be norwich manager at end of the season, beyond then who knows
  3. id bring fox in for lappin, bit more class and quality. he was very average saturday
  4. Watford - 2-0 win Scunny - 1-1 win Swansea - 1-1 draw Notts forest - 2-1 loss Barnsley - 2-1 win Doncaster - 2-2 draw 11 points after 6 would be a great return, and set us up nicely for the season.
  5. great signing, only 25 so has not reached his potential yet by any means, a significant upgrade from the doc, and for free! very very happy with this signing, well played lambo
  6. blackpool buying success, you avin a laugh! their highest paid player gets £6k a week, less than some of our stars. also during the close season their players only get £90 a week. to add to that the players have to wash their own training kit. and finally they have a capacity stadium of 12,000. this team has not bought success and is one of the smallest clubs in the division. sheer hard work and good management hav got this promotion and there is no element of money being a factor. its a great story and gives us all hope that norwich shud be able to try and emulate their achievement. it definately can happen, and heres hoping it will
  7. why are you judgeing him from 2 years ago u idiot? he was brightons player of the season this year, give the guy a chance. lambert hasnt got much wrong so far, i trust his judgement and i look forward to seeing him in action.
  8. just turned radio 1 on, to find marching on together song is being played?! what the hell
  9. Theo? surely! plus someone said david marshall was the reason we went down last year, you clearly didnt go to many matches as he was keeping us in matches with numerous world class saves. yes he had 1 or 2 bad moments but all keepers do, he is top class.
  10. shocking journalism, really poor. making sensationalist claims from false facts, with leeds being unable to use the beckford factor as a bargaining tool, with him being out of contract. it really annoys me, its simple football knowledge that these reporters cant get right.
  11. good move i think. docs been superb this season and a great servant for the club, but everyones time must come up and move on. he hardly covered himself in glory last season, admittedley in a struggling and disjointed side, but i still beleive its the right call. lambert knows the players hes got better than any of us, and ill trust him to decide who he thinks will perform at the high end of the championship, which is where he wants to be.
  12. why are these people so uncreative? its always rumours of returns for ex players or players we''ve been constantly linked with before. get original in your rumours
  13. if it was on a free id say yea great go for it, but £1.5m is a ridiculous amount for him. not that i believe the story. he wud be good back up for holt, big burley striker who will give defenders a torrid time
  14. parachute payments didnt do us, charlton, southampton any good did they. doubling it wont make too much difference or create a big gap between champiosnhip clubs and the relaged prem clubs. if your a well run, organised club you can compete in the championship, blackpool have proved this
  15. i swear i saw the figure to be £4.8m! it was quite good, they did their team of season, fraser, doc, wes and holt made it, with russell, martin and nelson on the bench. some people give it a bit of stick the show, but i find it quite good and better to have it than nothing.
  16. its pointless banning them, most of them were there for their 1st game of the season anyway, bunch of glory hunters
  17. i want chelsea to win. i grew up hating utd because most of my school friends were ''massive'' utd fans and mocked me for supporting norwich, despite most of them never having seen utd play before. i have no problem with chelsea, despite their money.
