  1. definately not. hes a rubbish commentator. good riddence i say.
  2. all teams in europe get a bye for this round. i want a home game against weak opposition, then get a big team in 3rd round.
  3. pendulum-slam, its a right "get u going" tune
  4. i am!!!! god wat a poor player he was, watching him play last season was painful, the way he wud just boom the ball forward to know one was just embaressing. he tried so hard bless him but was just an exceptionally poor player.
  5. i think that these days a manager should be given at least 2 full years to achieve success, unless they are really doing badly in which case their staying wud be against the best interests of the club. however as long as grant continues to build a team which wins more than loses then he shud be given 2-3 years to achieve promotion. if this year we find ourself in a relegation scrap(unlikely but u neva no) then he wud probably have to go. but i say give him time and im sure he will achieve success with norwich.
  6. left back, wer he belongs.................................in the changing room
  7. i think they''re pretty much wat id of put. norwich didnt do well last season and have lost key players, despite strengthening, so i think 11th-12th favourites is a gd reflection of our chances of winning league.
  8. i''ll be giving em all a warm reception as they are quality players who served norwich well.
  9. who is that fool. he obviously aint a true supporter just a glory supporter. if ur a true fan ull take the rough eith the smooth, we had the smooth 2-3 years ago now we are going thru rough period. the club needs the support to remain loyal and not go slagging off the club as soon as we sell a player.
  10. no. ur all forgetting that as hard as it is to admit it, norwich is a business and his job is to make sure the club is profitable for the shareholders. it wud be irresponsible of him as a chief executive to go spending money the club does not have, so with players being our largest asset then they must be sold to bring in the funds to buy new people.
  11. how pn earth can u say hucks leaving wud be gd for teh club. hes our best player by a long way, and without him im afraid fighting relegation wud be a regular occurance. he rips teams apart consistently so to say he shud is laughable.
  12. Theres been a lot of over eaction to the sale of etuhu and earnshaw and lack of qlaity signings in defense and midfield. however its still only mid july and the transfer window closes on 31st of august. that leaves norwich 6 weeks to buy sum quality players. i dont believe we have £7m to spend liek sum believe but im pretty sure £3m at least is a fair estimate. i think we all no at least 1, probly 2 defenders are needed, as well as 2 midfielders, if safri leaves. currently fotheringham, brellier and hughes are only midfielders so depth is essential for long season, and im sure grant will buy wisely. so my message is just stay patient and wait a few weeks, at least to start of season to assess norwich chances this season as im sure there are a few more signings on there way, so all the dejection and pessimism shud be put on hold, as its not time to press panic button yet is it.
  13. id just like to point out that theres more than 6 weeks till the transfer deadline. a large majority of transfers are sealed in last few weeks of window, so i wudnt start getting worried by lack of signings yet. if we still avnt got a new centre bak in mid late august then i will be concerned but im sure grant will be looking for a few more players in coming weeks. also once season starts managers always identify weak areas afta a couple of games and decide to strengthen.
  14. i sit in norwich nd peterboro stand lower tier and is a gd view sat on bak row. however there are a couple of fans, a lad with his dad who just shout and scream there heads off at fellow supporters for not chanting. they dont seem to appreciate that not all fans like shouting at matches. they always shout at the crowd to chant and always av a go at us. its extremely annoying and does sumtimes spoil the match slighlty coz they get quite animated wen we play poorly.
  15. id just like to point out that emergency loans are not permitted anymore. football league clubs can only get players on loan during transfer windows and they cant be short term deals either, they have to go right thru to at least a transfer window, ie minimum 5-6 months.
  16. is safri actually going then. i dont live in norfolk, so dont get much city news, only wat appears on club website. are any clubs set to be in for him and how much??? i think safri is worth at least £3m and if they sell him for less will be criminal.
  17. norwich must sign a couple of quality defenders because we lack depth and decetn cover in that area. davenport wud be great signing and i cant see why he wudnt want to coem coz he wont play at west ham. also maybe a loan signing from premiership. an attacking centre midfielder wud be nice too, kris commons of forest is a top player i think and he''d be a quality signing for norwich.
  18. i cudnt care less how we play nxt season as long as we win. if that means sitting thru 90 mins of tedious long ball football every week then i wont mind if we win. and if we play attractive football at a quick tempo and keep losing and drawing then i wont be impressed. footballs all about results and thats all i reli care about at the end of the day.
  19. i know we''ve got £5m to spend coz norwich sed the earnshaw fee wud go to grant to spend. before we sold him we bid for sharp and eastwood, so if u do the maths, its works out at at least £5m. im basing the fact that the czech league being poor as they dont produce any teams who make any progress in europe. most of the gd players to come from the league left there in their late teens, early 20''s, and with dave being 23 if he was top class he wud av been signed by a bigger club by now. thats wat im judging it on, whether u agree or not.
  20.  whoa steady on chaps, a tad harsh dont ya think, i mearly stated that i think, in my opinion, that he will be poor. 13 goals in 28 games in a poor league is not that great, also if he was any gd, surely watford wud of snapped him up. dont start avin a go at me either, im a season ticket holder and av attended most games in last few years. i have as much right to an opinion, and i dont think its right that u slag me off. it may be my 1st post but i only joined today so give me a chance. we''ve got more than £5m to spend and we are gambling on an unknown striker who is unproven, it doesnt seem prudent, considering the funds we have. we''ve got money to buy more established players so why dont we???
  21. this guy is guna be poor. another chris brown on the cards i think. how much is he costing anyway???
