1.

*clears throat* Your auntie is your mother, Your Father is your Brother. You sleep with one-another The Ispwich Family...   to the tune of the Adams Family jas :)
Isn''t that a song that other clubs chant at us? (West Ham in particular if i remember correctly) I definitely recognise it. I can''t halp but laugh at it either!
They were singing that to us at Bristol City a couple of weeks back
 2. I firmly believe in giving people a chance and even a second chance but how many chances do you give someone before you say enough is enough. Chris Martin is another Ryan Jarvis. Could not hit a cows arse with a banjo. Well not on a regular basis anyway. Screamer in one match but then does not score in the next 8. Not good enough, sorry.
 3. I agree with you LGT as I usually do. Young Pearce is not excactly the next John Terry is he. I would think Coppell has said we have to use him or lose him which is not fair on Shackell.
 4.
What stand are you on, I am going later this week, you will know me as I will have my away shirt on ! could call on your stand as we are going with a view to joining the caravan / motorhome brigade regards and good selling Paul "kidderminster canary"
Hi Mate. I am on the Bailey Caravan stand just inside Hall 5. Do come and say hello. The guys on the Reception will find me for ya.
 5.
How has everyone here missed the most important point of this post? Vern is in Brum selling/pushing/dealing......................... CARAVANS!!!! Is there no law against this? There should be!  I''ll be thinking of you when I travel down to Devon in the summer!!
They earn me a good living so I dont really care. Leave earlier to account for the little beasts.
 6.
not on the matter tiny matter but welcome to midlands and hope you enjoy your stay mate, is it birmingham city you staying in? or outskirts? if you get time to watch villa at home i recommend it as they play some nice footy! sports cafe on main street is half decent if some sports on
City centre on Broad St. Been staying here for 5 years or so. Sports bar is ok. Normally go to Walkabout Bar or Lloyds. Brum are home to Arsenal on Saturday but we are at NEC working. Villa are away at Reading I think.
 7. Hi All   Twice a year I have to spend a week at the Birmingham NEC selling Caravans and Motorhomes. I am currently sat in my room in a Premier Travel Inn in Broad St typing this message. I drive past St Andrews twice a day to get to work and back. After the hassle we had with old ma Brady over the Martin Taylor "transfer" I wonder if any of you would like me to deliver a "message" before I leave for home on Sunday. I may even get a chance to say hello to Tiny again on my way to or from work. Suggestions please !!   Vern
 8. I feel his career is going to be similar to Darren Andertons. Always injured.
 9.
Scummer friend
These two words should never be said in the same sentence
 10.

Sorry Huddy, just realised. You have said how you are fed up with all these promises of people signing. By that I can only assume you mean the rumours on here as nobody from the club has promised anything. If this is the case, why did you start a thread just after 4.30 today called "signings on the way"?. You are as bad as everyone else. However, keep the speculation coming. We love it !!
This could have been misleading, but my post regarding "signings on way" was tongue in cheek, i never claimed that we would sign anyway, i was just posting the latest rubbish from footballrumours.co.uk which i did state! Theres a big difference between that and all these newbie posters etc telling us Taylor will sign tomorrow etc etc!
Fair enough.
 11.

"There is no clear evidence either way." True, but going by recent history Vern is quite likely to be right. Have you got the impression that decent money has been available to managers over the last two and a half years? If so why have we signed mainly wasters on freebies or a few hundred K?
Vern may well be right but by the same premise he may well be wrong too.
Me wrong??. That is not possible. How rude !!
 12.
January 7 “VIOLET ELIZABETH here.” I do a double-take before realising Glenn Roeder had read my Sun piece about him “screaming, screaming till I’m sick” because we wouldn’t sell him Martin Taylor at a bargain-basement price. As Spurs chairman texts me “You want Harrods quality at Woolworths prices”, Glenn and I compare brains. We’ve both had brain ops. He doesn’t care what the papers say, it has to be better than being six feet under. No question. FROM KAREN BRADYS SUN DIARY
Brain ops in your part of the world. They are called transplants mate, not ops.
 14. Sorry Huddy, I saw him in Tesco but he eluded me in Asda. Tried mate.
 15.
As Roeder has already said, he can buy ordinary players any day of the week. It''s getting the right players that''s the problem!
Sounds like a good excuse not to buy anyone at all. "We tried but the right player was just not there". Yeah right. Neil Danns, £600k, Callum Davenport, loaned to Watford (yes i know he got injured but that is irrelevant). We need some good news Glenn. Note: This is not a pop at Glenn Roeder as I think he is superb, just sheer frustration at no signings.
 16.
We don''t have any more games until the 29th January The players we want won''t leave their clubs until the clubs are confident that they have cover for their positions. Given that the 2 above things are true, why would anyone expect us to sign anyone early in the January transfer window ?  I wouldn''t be surprised if it goes down to the 31st for any permanent signings, and after that for loans (so that we get them until the end of the season).  Is it also possible that we''ve been waiting to see how (7 of ) Arsenals'' reserves got on in the Carling Cup before bringing one or two players in ?  Just a thought...
The trouble with leaving it until Jan 31st !!!! When DFS have their boxing day sale the ones who get there at 9am have the pick of the store. So why wait until 4.50pm?. All that is there at 4.50pm is the crap that everyone else has not snapped up. The leftovers, the soiled goods etc. We will end up with Ipswich reserve players if we are not careful.
 17.
Two signings tomorrow. A centre back and a striker!!!
Yawn yawn yawn. Here we go again!!!. No offence mate but that is 23 days on the trot we have had someone saying that on here.
 18.

I actually think the board do a good job but frustration is building and I reckon they need to do something soon.
Like.....what? They have made the money available.  Its up to Roeder unless you want the board to bring in players over the managers head a la Chelski What is it you''d like them to do?
The money is available is it?. You are sure about that?
 19.
how do you know this for a fact? maybe roeder doesnt just go out and buy willy nillly crap players. maybe the mrket is inflated and glenn doesnt think they''re worth it.
I never said it was fact. Just my opinion.
 20. .........singing a song, He said, Oi Munby, wheres the money gone???????. If you join us Glenn we will promise you a healthy transfer kitty for January so you can strenghen the team. You can just picture it cant you?. Glenn Roeder has been taken for a fool and to make it worse he has to make out that he is the one who is unwilling to part with the money. Insult to injury. Now I may be wrong but I have been waiting 23 days for some sort of action and so far we have seen very little. So many clubs are making good signings and we get a Bulgarian on trial who we cant sign anyway, a triallist goalkeeper from America etc. Yes we got Matty Patty and a loan from Chelski but why do we have to be left behind every single time. Our supporters are the best in the land. 25000 turn up to every home match and yet we are still short changed every single time. I dont want to even be compared to the likes of Smudger etc because I actually think the board do a good job but frustration is building and I reckon they need to do something soon. Sorry about the rant but it had to be said.
 21.
Ok I apologise was a tad harsh now that I''ve read it back. No excuse but I didnt get a lot of sleep last night, dont feel too good and reacted before my brain was in gear. [:)] I''m as desperate as everyone else to get Tiny and another one in, I just find all these rumours annoying and difficult to ignore. Sorry everyone!
Woman scorned and all that.
 22.
it was a tap in according to SSN. anyone could have done it.
Probably a deflected shot which spun in off his arse.
 23.

Where''s Huckerby? Not on the team sheet or subs bench?
He is injured
Really ?????
