1. How did I know, someone would make a thread and say give some credit to Gunn. The thing is, it''s not all about signing a bunch of players and sticking them on the pitch and expect them to win matches. It''s all about who to play, what formation, what tactics to play. when to bring on subs etc. Gunn was completely useless at this. The team was so unorganised and looked a complete shambles. At least we have someone now, who know''s what he''s doing. Dropping Dotherty was an excellent start!
2. Some very strange ratings by some of you. Alnwick 6.5 Otsemobor 7 Spillane 7 Askou 7.5 Drury 6.5 Mcveigh 6.5 Lappin 8.5 Hughes 7.5 Smith 8 Holt 8.5 Cureton 7 subs: Adeyemi 7 Mcdonald 7.5 Hoolahan 5.5
3. On a recent poll, women were asked whose sperm they would rather have to father their babies out of Brad Pitt and Stephen Fry. 90% chose Stephen Fry!
4. I think you should leave Stephen Fry alone. Stephen Fry has 750,000 people following him on Twitter. I am told this is the most on any uk person right now. Very clever bloke and not just because he supports the best team in England.
5. Yep, I''m happy too. I think Mcnally knows what he''s doing. It''s nice to have a proper manager in charge for once!
6. Lambert resigned as manager of the U''s last night to take up the post at Carrow Road this morning, after U''s Chairman Robbie Cowling failed to agree a compensation package with Norwich City. Assistant manager Ian Culverhouse has also quit the club along with Operations Manager Gary Karsa. So let me get this right. Because they all quit last night, we don''t have to pay any compensation?
7. It says: I can confirm Sean O''Driscoll is in talks with us, lets hope we get him!
8. Anyone else who has twitter can confirm this.
9. Sean O''Driscoll. This has been posted on twitter!
10. I''ve also heard that there has been problems at Colney with the training. Basically "It''s shambolic" was the way it was described to me.
11. So Norwich fan. Is this aimed at me?? I would have no reason to follow what you or anybody else has said. I could of quite easily come on here last Friday and tell everyone what I had heard that Coppell is buying property in this area (and i do know the area but i''m not going to say). But like I said in my post, I was in two minds in whether to believe it or not. After reading what you had said, last night and someone else had said, I thought I would confirm what I had heard last Friday. So don''t try and make out your a smart arse!
12. I''m just waiting for the club to confirm it is Steve Coppell and i will be very surprised if it turns out to be somebody else.
13. After being told that Steve Coppell has just brought property in this area on Friday and now Liggins seems to think we did have someone lined up on Friday, it all starts to fit into place.
14. BBC look east''s Liggins seems to think we had a new manager lined up last friday, and is just tieing up looses ends. Looks like this could be true. It''s got to be Steve Coppell!
15. After reading several rumours on here yesterday about Steve Coppell been seen at Colney over the last few days, I have been in two minds if I should post this or not! So here goes, you can shoot me down all you like! I heard on friday about an hour after the sacking of Gunn that Steve Coppell is buying property in this area. I cannot say anymore information on this and I cannot say where it is or who I heard this from. The one thing that did put doubt in my mind that this is true, is that David Mcnally said on Radio Norfolk that no-one has been lined up yet. I give you my full apologies if this turns out to be incorrect but after reading about the sightings of Coppell in this area, it makes you wonder. One other thing i heard aswell is that training at Colney has been very poor and not up to scratch. This, and with the poor results on the pitch is why Gunn had to go.
16. Well done for this post. Nice to see someone talking some sence instead of all this protest rubbish.
17.
EDP....ContactedEvening News....ContactedHeart FM....ContactedFuture FM....ContactedRadio Norwich...ContactedLook East....ContactedAnglia News....Contacted
D''oh!!!!!!!!! I have to say you must be one of the dumbest posters on here and the people who think a protest now is a good idea are not far behind you!
18. No one is more passionate about Norwich than myself. But a protest right now, makes no sense whatsoever! Delia has admitted to making mistakes over the last few years. But who did they have to guide them? Bloody Neil useless Doncaster! He''s now history and we have a great chief exec. in charge. David Mcnally will put the right manager in charge and we WILL gain promotion THIS year! Any protest now, will make it seem you are anti New Manager, anti New board and you are against Gunn getting the sack!
19. By organising a protest now makes it seem like you were all in favour of Gunn, and you are protesting in his defence! I say well done to the new board for having balls and acting so quickly into the season. After the appointment of the new manager soon, this will give us a great chance of achieving promotion. Can''t you lot see this?
20. This has to be the most stupid protest i have ever heard of. By next saturday we will have a new manager. It will be his first game in charge and some idiots think it''s a good idea to stage a protest. I am no Delia fan but since we have a new board in place i''m willing to give them a bit of time to change things around and get things right. You would think the majority of fans would be happy now they have sacked Gunn. Your protest will never take shape and the 20 or so who do show up, will look bloody stupid! Why the hell don''t you at least wait and see who they appoint as manager first?
21. How the hell can you say the board cost us 2 points today? How can you or anybody be certain that Gunn would of got us a win today? We could of lost, so you could say the board gained us a point today by sacking Gunn last night!
22. to get the right person in. David Mcnally was the best signing we have made for years. He has the football knowledge and experience to get things right. I trust this bloke will make the right decision. I have complete faith in Mcnally and everybody should do to, whoever is appointed!
23. Just heard this on Radio Norfolk too. Hasselbaink, just what management experience does this bloke have exactly??
