1. Why aren''t we in for this guy? Superb scoring rate and only 5 million. Forget Quag and Toi, this is the chap we want. Celtic in for him now and if they succeed, they''ve got a real bargain!
2. Quag is world class and worth "pushing the boat out for". He would truly be a quality and pretty amazing signing for us. How anybody can say I don''t want him here is bizarre! Think u should do some research on this player before u say that!
3. Wish we''d just pay up for Hooper! At least he has a far better scoring record than Maxi Lopez with are now linked with and he would cost us 3.5 million. I would much rather us she''ll out 5 million for Hooper!
4. I''ve heard that we''ve signed Fer on a 5 year deal
5. I think the time was right for him to go. After putting in a transfer request last summer, I don''t think he wanted to be here and his goals scored this past season, told the whole story. Scored the goals that got us to we''re we are now, so best of luck to him.
6. Been linked with Liverpool for past few weeks so I don''t think will happen, but we can live in hope!
7. It''s been reported that Chelsea have just offered £7 million now. I would tell them to get stuffed!
8. He might be transfer listed because he got a ban for betting on matches.
9. Rumour is, he has been transfer listed by Spurs. Can''t say if it''s true or not. But with Hughton being ex spurs and probably knows the player well, could Hughton be interested? Scored some fantastic goals if I remember correctly.
10.
All of Ince''s goals and assists in the Championship came from the left wing last season.
Thank you Joanna. I make my point, that Ince would be a far better purchase going on last seasons stats!
11.
Where the hell does Shelvey come into a straight-choice option of Ince v Redmond? Do you always move the goalposts like that?? Ince plays often as a striker, Redmond doesn''t so those stats aren''t really a fair comparison. Both players are u-21 internationals, so both are obviously good. I would go for Redmond, partly on price as we have other pressing spots to fill. Simple.
Because its been rumoured and reported that we were interested in paying 8 million for Shelvey. Which in my eyes is a lot of money for a player like that. Ince''s price might be 8 million but going on last seasons stats he is by far the superior player over Redmond!
12. And you would rather us spend 8million on Shelvey?
13. You say Redmond because he''s cheap? 2 goals and just 5 assists in 38 games in the championship isn''t exactly a good return is it?
14. Last season: Redmond played 38 games 2 goals 5 assists. Ince played 44 games 18 goals 14 assists Who would you rather have?
15. "Ever get the feeling your not wanted" Looks like he''s been offered to some other team? Part swap deal maybe?
16. The most frustrating thing with Hughton for me, is refusing to change the midfield. Since Howson has started in midfield, we have been sh*t to put it bluntly! It''s the same old midfield despite how they played the week before. Why oh why hasn''t Fox been given a start? Playing Tetty and Johnson at the same time is too defensive. This is one thing Lambert would do, that Hughton refuses to do, rotate the squad!!!
17. Mcleish took the job with the understanding that he would have funds to buy players during January transfer window. Every time Mcleish wanted to buy a player, the chairman blocked the move. This happened a few times. Mcleish wanted to sign Burke but the chairman instead of signing him, would only want him on loan. Funny how Burke just scored a couple of goals against Forest last week. Mcleish threatened to walk last week, so this is no surprise at all. It''s their chairman who needs to go before anything can change at Forest. Reminds me of Robert Chase!
18. From what I''ve seen of Kamara he looks very very good and I think he will do well. Just hope CH has the balls to drop Holt to the bench. He hasn''t exactly been that great this season. No doubt Kamara and Bechio will both be on the bench though. I would like us to start Saturday with Kamara and Bechio up front and Holt on the bench!!
19. Would cost £3-£4 million. With all our offers for strikers being rejected, why aren''t we buying Odemwingie. Always looked good and a real handful for defenders. He has recently put in a transfer request too.
20. According to the Mirror( yes I know it''s only a newspaper) our bid of £8 million pound has been rejected! They want £12 million!!!
21. And Kenwyn jones is not wanted by Stoke and would cost us 4.5 million. Again a lot less of a gamble than Hooper.
22. Forget about Hooper, Charlie Austin would be a lot better option! Scored 23 goals out of 27 matches. Also scored 8 matches on the bounce. We all know how tough the Championship is. Hooper has scored against easier defenders in the SPL, so why they price him so high is beyond me and would be a bigger gamble than Austin. Anyone else feel the same??
23.
If Morison is being sold and i cant see any rumours of this anywhere other than on here, then i''d expect two new strikers in January seeing as C.Martins days look numbered, as does Vaughans and Jackson is currently further down the pecking order than Morison.
Go on some Forest sites and you will see for yourself.
24. There is also a story in today''s Telegraph ( I know it doesn''t mean it''s true) saying Morison is on his way in January for 2million to forest.
