1.

Is Charlton the earliest we can be promoted now?
Yes. We would need to be 13 clear of 3rd to be officially promoted on Tuesday; the furthest clear we can be is 12, meaning Leeds could pip us on goal difference.
Ta! I stand (sit!!) corrected
 2.
Yes we dominated the game and yes it has been a great season but even if we had won every game, from Tranmere onwards, 5-0 I would still think we will struggle next season. All this talk that Holt will score 20 goals again next season is nonsense.  In this season he has shown that whenever he comes up agaisn''t a good defender he is non exisistent, i.e. Leeds game.  Also, I know he has scored 30 goals but he has missed a hell of a lot of chances and easy ones too.  Tranmere away he went around the keeper and then fluffed it, he did the same thing at home a few weeks before and he should have had a hatrick today.  In the Championship he wont get as many chances and he has to put away the ones he does get. Our defence, even our first choice one, which I think will be Spillane - Askou - Whitbread - Drury, will not be quite strong enough I doubt.  It may be fairly solid at times but agaisnt any good striker, or someone with pace, they will struggle. We have to get a decent keeper because, judging by Rudd today he might not be quite ready to make the step up and I also think that we wont get Forster back. And finally the midfield needs strengthning.  Smith I''m certain will make the step up, Russel has sort of found his level, Lappin has definately found his level and Hoolahan just as he showed us last year is just going to get knocked of the ball. We quite simply havn''t got the money to be a success and we will need it because this team will come straight back down.  We must get an investment of some sort.
Is this why you are not a football manager??
 3. I thought at times they moved the ball well ...but the game plan is obviously kick the opposition off the park and hopefully they will back off and give us room. Ince should be called before the FA / FL to explain the number of cards his team have been given. Disgraceful attitude to the game They could easily have been down to ten or even nine men much earlier with a decent set of officials. On another day though, Holty would have buried at least 2 of his chances.
 4. Think  we can still be promoted if we win and everyone else loses...but more likely Charlton now.. would .be nice to wrap up the title at home though
 5.
Looks like your post has gone down well, then...
You have to understand with this guy that content is unimportant but numbers are!!
 6.

Possibly the worst official i have seen at FCR in 30 odd years
No thats Alan Wiley...
Not on today`s performance
 7.
I WAS OVERREACTING SAYING HE WAS A GOOD REF......I didn;t mean it that much, as i have said, it was an exageration... He was booking players 90% of the time when they needed booking, he was giving the fouls most of the time, but there were some very standout decisions he got wrong, as i have said, and others that i forgot about (the stamp on Holt) that have made me change my mind slightly...
Maybe engage brain before hitting keyboard!! He was atrocious....maybe as your knowledge of the game improves you will realise just how  ridiculous your initial post is!
 8. If we play against a team like that next year one would hope that between the 4 officials on duty they can get the majority of decisions correct. The 2 x 2 footed tackles ion the first half probably should both have been reds!!
 9. Possibly the worst official i have seen at FCR in 30 odd years
 10.
JUST TO SOME IT UP: (before anyone else insults me....) I firstly said some sily things (aka ref being good ect....) these were very silly, and i am sorry... at first thought, i dind''t think the ref was that bad, but the more examples that come my way, the more it looks like he was pretty bad......
Let me get this right You initially said he was a good ref You WERE at the game You saw everything we all did and still insist he was a good ref You changed your mind, not cos of what you saw but because others are pointing out the same things you saw at the game??? Honestly....what WERE you watching this afternoon??
 11. The usual streams will probably be carrying it. Sky sports news on freeview also runs soccer saturday if you have digital telly.
 12.
I''m not sure it "sums up the state of our game", but I do think it''s a ridiculous system.
Your prerogative !
 13. So based on the criteria for inclusion..A player could get a monthly award in August/September, break a leg, miss the rest of the season and still get Player of the year for playing 5 0r 6 games??   Absolutely laughable and sums up the state of our game !!
 14. At a guess, I would suggest that rocking horse sh!t is easier to get hold of...but best of luck!
 15. Norwich firm kicking around , called the “Stiens” if I recall   You recall correctly........
 16.
My Dad was a season ticket holder in the River end and a member of the 101 club in the early 80''s, he was telling me about singing "can you hear the Barclay sing" when they were quiet, we sat in the Barclay saturday in EU and it was a great atmosphere all day, i was smashed on cider before the game and after a couple of swift ones at half time was well on the way nearing the goal, just before a few fans started leaving to get out early and i shouted about so many people wanting tickets and these idiots leave early just to get home quick, just then the goal went in! haha bet they wished they could have heard the roar from the stand not the bar area Just a balance of how drunk i was, i thought Rusty kicked Becchio in the face and thought Kandol elbowed Russel Martin haha
I remember the River End being packed so full that they used to take some fans out and walk them in front of the south Stand round to the Barclay and stick them in the pens there. .....and we always sang at least as loud as the Barclay...[:D]
 17.
Or 8 games and 24 points even.... It will be Orient away.
What a trip home that will be on the 2230!!

 19.
I''m in the Barclay and I think there''s a general antipathy toward the River End.  Today they were as good as the rest of the ground.
I think you are probably right. Certainly the most noise in the ground for a while...long may it continue [:D]
